Almost every major Nigerian media outlet is running with the claim that the governor of North Carolina declared June 14 “Igbo Day.” I’ve been digging for over 30 minutes and couldn’t find a single credible U.S. source—local or national—reporting it. Not one.
But of course, it’s the same recycled script. Just like those fantasy posts that keep making front page claiming some U.S. city declared “Wizkid Day” or “Davido Day.”
My question is simple: how do sane, thinking people see stuff like this and not immediately smell the fraud? Is our collective self-worth so fragile that we cling to imaginary white recognition just to feel relevant?

I don’t think the U.S. should join this war. The same folks who hype Israel as some military superpower should let them prove it on their own. But deep down, we all know—if this drags past a month, Israel will be in soup.
I’ll keep asking: If Israel is performing well as its fanboys claim, why are they desperately trying to rope in other countries? Meanwhile, Iran hasn’t publicly begged a single ally for help.
Let’s be honest: the only reason you call for backup in a fight is because you know you can’t win solo. Israel’s been aware they don’t have the bombs necessary to hit certain Iranian nuclear sites—so why didn’t they develop their own bunker busters enough to penetrate those sites, instead of trying to get others involved?

The thing is Israel is a very tough nut to crack for Iran in spite of whatever number of missiles they have in their arsenal.

Israel took out the entire command structure of their military and not one senior officer of the Israeli military have they been able to take out. You think Iran don't wish to even the scores? Of course they do, but they are unable and that is only why they resort to bombing civilian dominated densely populated areas in Israel. Their intention is definitely to put pressure on the Israelis to consider their civilian population falling to Iranian attacks; so the Israelis will sheath their swords to protect their civilian population.

Unfortunately for them, the Israelis are almost used to living half of their lives in bunkers. They never lived in self denial and always knew times like this will come considering they live amongst sworn enemies.

Dey play. What exactly do you think would happen if a million Israelis got wiped out? Unlike Iran, Russia, or North Korea, Western countries don’t operate on blind obedience. In Israel, or any democracy—public outrage would erupt and leadership would be forced to answer for it. That’s the West’s weakness: accountability.
In authoritarian states, you could lose 10 million citizens and the regime wouldn’t blink. No protests, no resignations, just more propaganda. If Iran had any real strategy, they’d exploit that difference. Because the moment the body count starts stacking high, it’s not missiles that’ll bring Israel down, it’s their own citizens turning on the government.

Ayatollah should be grateful to Trump. The only reason the US is taking time to join this war is because Trump is the president. I have noticed something about our people ; once u put them in charge of Ur business and they know ghat business is not Ur major source of income/what is paying Ur bills ; they will milk gbag business dry and always give u story. It's they same thing if u are working in corporate environment and u buy a commercial bus and give it to a driver to run fee paying service. Same thing if u open a poultry or farm to augment the income make as a salary earner elsewhere.
