Ronaldo supporters move like APC supporters. They both have one thing in common.

How can you be mocking someone for losing a wc final meanwhile the person you stan have never made a world cup final?

It's like Messi fans have become gentle oh because I see no reason why they allowed pendu fans to even be talking shit.

This HOTD is just boring AF..

Too many unnecessary conversations, little continuation of the violence from episode one.. This season is looking mid..
HOTD is a victim of the success of GOT. GOT achieved so much that whatever it's successors do will be judged from the heights of GOT. Achievements that will look extraordinary for others will be considered mediocre if they came from HOTD because GOT had more.

If your really into storytelling film, anime is the best place for that because Hollywood movies are more interested in money than something good.

My friends that called me a child are now the ones addicted to anime now…………still some people laugh me cus of kdrama i dy watch.
Which story telling? Maybe the pioneers of the 80,90s, and early 2000s sha. Almost all the anime in the past two decades are very predictable. Different characters and plot, but at their core, they're fundamentally the same.

At a point you get tired of this hero going from place to place to save the day stuff, it's unrealistic and some of us don't bother with unrealistic stuff anymore, that is the reason I couldn't stomach Kdrama again.

There are some Kdrama I've seen that were quite thought provoking. They found a way to blend different subset of genres easily, not the love and prince/secretary slops with predictable storylines they're producing now.

Nothing pains the european & white man more than seeing black people excel in their own country, the racism comes out in full display, no more fake smiles and conceited niceness. Even in France I can bet that majority of the white French people are pained that Africans dominate their team and are secretly wishing for France to lose to Spain or Argentina. Same thing with racist england
Nigerians have no right to complain about racism when we practice tribalism over here. The French even tried, Nigerians will not allow this.

How i wish we could all co-operate and not buy cement for one week, cause how do we tackle incessant price hike despite having cement glut?

More painfull is buying higher than the rest of Africa despite favourable factors of production.
Is this recent? Asking because I bought cement about a month ago at a rate of 12.2k per bag.

This guy capping that there are up to a million dollar millionaires in Lagos.

I doubt the whole Africa put together has up to two million dollar milionaires, and Lagos has half of that? Lmao, by the way, this is me being generous by giving every African country forty thousand dollar millionaires, which is probably a far cry.

Also, the forty thousand dollar millionaires per country is when we include politicians, civil servants, and non state actors.
If we go by strictly official stuff, it likely won't be more than like 10-15 thousand per country.

Nigeria cannot function without oil. The ND deserves more respect from Nigerians tbh.

If oil falls to $20 today, the Nigerian government will collapse.

We need to diversify. That is what these administrations should've focused on all this while.

I like how the mainstream media and the social media are not letting this story die a normal death as the presidency are hoping it would.

So according to Premium Times further digging into this AdeyemiGate x GbajaGate, Adeyemi wrote a letter to office of the Accountant General requesting for deployment of some of their staff in April 2025 to which they obliged.

At least 3 staff were redeployed from the office of the Accountant General to the same agency being labeled fake now.

Make Bayo Onanuga come explain this one away again.

mortal Kombat part 2 is a solid 6/10 for me.
On a personal note, i feel like they haven't really done justice to the mortal Kombat franchise as regards to live in action.
One of the most famous video games on earth in history while growing up cannot be having these mediocre and shittty movies.

Take a look at series like the game of thrones, avatar and co.

Maybe a giant network like HBO or Amazon can take over and turn this franchise into a high budgeted three season series with good plots, storyline, cinematography, fight scenes with a bit of horror and supernatural etc.

Mortal Kombat needs rebranding.

What we have so far doesn't give the franchise the legacy it deserves.
All MK live adaptions have been shit, I don't bother myself to watch them anymore. It's been over a decade since I last watched an MK live adaptation.

That is how some kept insulting bbnaija organizers that they're distracting the youths, shey since when bbn no hold the youths don serious?

Potvalor:
School is not yet a scam, but the competition level for the few opportunities is crazy. Nigeria produces roughly say 600-700K graduates each year, with around 450-500K passing out from NYSC each year. But roughly 70% of these graduates (especially Polytechnics and CoE, or 2:2/3rd class BSc ) can't easily crack into the majority of the entry-level roles that pays decently. The majority of the Banks, Consultancy, Financial, etc. now pay 500K-ish per month at Entry-level, with the O/G sector paying multiple times that level (the best paying one).

Each year, there are maybe around 10K-ish Graduate/Entry-level openings combined nationwide (~ 2% of the graduate population) that pay decently (say 300K+/month range), but such opportunities are favorably skewed to BSc. 2:1 Engineering/Sciences/Finance/Accounting/Law/Medicine et. al. graduates. That's why these days I do advise SSCE students to grind hard to enter good University programs and leave all these easy Polytechnic admissions or courses (and also try to enter school on time to beat GT age-restrictions) because the best bet for the child of a common man to get a good entry-level job in Nigeria as a graduate is via these GT openings. Though many graduates now earn decently from legit online hustles too (freelancing, content creation et al) and business; but many people still eat good in Nigeria with their academic degree. So School isn't scam for those categories.
According to NBS, only about 5% of Nigerians earn up to 200k($160) monthly. grin

Na the following sectors dey carry naija full-time:
Politics,
Oil & gas,
Online Fraud,
Drugs business.

Remove them and Nigeria will collapse.

The last paragraph is important.

I know someone whose siblings got inheritance worth almost $500000 each but since they had no knowledge of how money works, preferred eating it small small so it doesn't finish instead of knowing how to multiply it even if it's putting it in investment account. One of them was scared of investment banks etc and opted for 'small, small' eating of the money, today he is broke and relying on his elder sister for a mobile home of $40,000.

The elder sister who got double too but no knowledge of how to multiply thay money followed the 'small, small' eating of the money too, but seeing that her brother became broke even with this system of life( they claimed they learned frugality from their late mum), decided to be eating her social security money instead of her inheritance, then possibly using some of the inheritance money for Airbnb business( but has little idea on this).....

Fear rules her heart as she doesn't want to be poor.
People like your friend is what is making Trump and his allies Torchlight SS. Why will you get $500k and still be collecting social security? It makes no sense.

$100k in bonds, $50k in stocks, and another $50k in petty investments, then you live on the remaining 300k, she's good to go.

Very sad indeed. They should have taken her to any other functional clinic or hospital in town since they were aware that the clinic closes by 6pm.

I remember though, that the health centre in my university days was open 24/7. People can fall ill at anytime. The Osun State University owns the Alakija built and well equipped teaching hospital. Shouldn't the students have access to that?

May her soul rest in peace.
Knowing how Nigeria functions, it won't be surprising to find out only the VC and other senior lecturers, and folks from the private sector are allowed to make use of the ultra modern hospital donated by Mrs. Alalakija.

So, I just listened to him and I hear him saying the Federal Police will focus on enforcement of federal laws while state police will enforce state laws particularly laws that have been domesticated by the state house of assembly.

I want to ask a question: Defamation is not a crime according to Lagos state laws but a civil wrong. However, in some states defamation remains a crime based on the criminal code and that's why some people will send police down to Lagos to arrest you and then have you detained in a state like Kwara where you will be prosecuted for defamation as a crime.

So, under this new state police system, won't people still use federal police to carry you from Lagos to Abuja to prosecute you for an offence that is not a crime under Lagos state law? Who will draw the lines between the jurisdiction of Federal police and state police?
I hope my response doesn't annoy you. But the answer to your question is this is Nigeria. The only solution to the issue you raised above is to avoid offending people you know are bigger than you.

You see EFCC doing things that only police are constitutionally empowered to do. Most federal agencies/institutions do things they're not mandated to do, this will not be different.

Regardless of what is written in constitution, enforcement will always be a major problem. As long as you have money to spend, they'll bundle your ops from whatever state you want, even if no crime was committed.
