Pls is this a new development? Cos someone just told me he was asked to pay transmission fee and he did biometrics in lagos in 2020, he submitted his passport at UPS. I didn't pay last year when I got my study visa. Pls clarify.

23k cad should be enough for the 3 but am thinking the VO is trying to factor PA(Student) expenses into the POF. Do you have outstanding tuition yet unpaid, if you can get the funds into your husband's account .Probably his own statement of account only should be provided in the next application

I have paid my full tuition for my 1 yr program, i also added the receipts to the application. the whole pof is in my hubby's bank and we submitted his savings acct statement. we added his company account to show the source of fund. this people sef, u never know what they want.

i initially applied with my family but we were denied due to lump sum (which was clearly explained in the sop). i later applied alone with the same pof and bank statements and i got my study permit.

im not happy at all.

Your refusal is clear they said your spouse proof of funds to support your family's stay in Canada is not sufficient and also not satisfied that you have sufficient funds to support your stay.

The SOWP visa type is fall under mobility program.

Try and work on your proof of funds

Thank you for you input but let me provide more details. the application was for my hubby and second son. my first son is american and we stated that in the sop and provided pof for him. living expenses was 10k for the 3 of them, flight and miscellaneous was 9k for them making a total of 19k.

all lump sum from N1m and above was explained and the total pof provided was 23k cad. so i dont understand what i have to do differently.

No issue at all. You can go through the school website to read the payment instruction. once she pays, you will be able to download your receipt on your portal.

MY TOBECHUKWU MOMENT IS HERE!
After 2 refusals, I finally got my visa
The story is long but let me summarise. I applied with my family on the 14th of May, 2023 and a refusal came in on the 1st of June. I was sad and confused so I reached out to some gurus here and they assisted me. May God bless their hearts.
I waited for my CBSA note and they just mentioned that my financials and asset were not enough, so I paid my full tuition and added to my POF but the exchange rate showed us shege. I submitted the second application on the 9th of July and after 4 days, breakfast was served again. This time, I cried and was discouraged. I didn’t know what could be wrong because I added a lot of documents and my SOP was tight. I lost hope and told my hubby that I was done with Canada
He sha encouraged me to apply alone the next day. Reluctantly, I submitted the application on the 14th of July and on the 9th of August, I got the golden message. It feels so surreal.
Special shout out to bobomaigida, zubizareta and dessymond394. These guys took their time to review my sop and offer useful pieces of advice on my application free of charge. May God continue to meet you at the points of your needs.

Update on passport submission @UPS.
UPS has moved from their office beside VFS to a new building, it’s on the same street but 5mins walk from the former office.

I have already make a payment of 46,500 yesterday when I went to their office to complained, now I saw payment instruction that I should use my UCI # as my reference when making payment.

Well I have made the payment before gotten payment instruction.

Not at all, i actually paid before i sent them a mail and i did my medicals without issues

Sorry about the refusal, please request for your GCMS notes, this will help you in your next application, the reasons made be something that can easily be tackled.

When applying next add transaction receipts 2 or more , add his tax clearance certificate add his business ID card.. and also your husband should should be the one to explain about his business himself in his support letter for you... order your GCMS note that's the best way to be sure of your exact refusal reason

i explained o, to the best of my ability. im wondering, could the issue be that the he transferred the fund two weeks to the time i submitted my application? he moved funds from his company to his personal acct and then to me.

Try and explain the source of fund of the sponsor. With enof receipts and invoices.

I added his CAC docs, his personal MBS, bank ref letter, valuation report of our house and car papers. i did not attach transaction receipts but i explained what my hubby's business is about. hubby is into engineering services and he has a vendorship agreement with a bank, vendorship letter was attached.

Did you submit your husband business document like tax clearance certificate,CAC document, did you add any of your husband landed property documents? Did you add transaction receipts from his business which act as proof that your husband busines is functioning and also Make sure your husband explains what his business is about? What type of business he is into, also submit your husband business card

Funny enough, me too. I don weak but at this point, I am laughing....it hurts so much that I don't even know what to do.

I submitted for myself and 2 dependents, 20M naira and 8,000 USD with a Job that has annual salary of N10,000,000 and there are conversations to keep working remotely as I have for the past 7months now.

Abeg, who will help me review my SOP, as I intend to resubmit soon.

Thank you. hubby is my sponsor and he travelled school fees balance and living expenses for my son and i into my account. he moved the fund between 2 weeks before i submitted. i explained that the fund was for my hubby, for my schl fees balance and living expense. he also transferred some of the fund from his business account and i got a reference letter from the bank that he is the sole signatory to the account.
