Good morning Sir,
I am in the process of filling my ds-160, I am a little bit confused where i need to input my primary occupation or school name. Presently, I am a graduate student/researcher in one of the University in Cyprus. I owned my business in Nigeria and work in the prep school here in exchange for 50% scholarship on my tuition and free accommodation. my problem is what to fill as my primary occupation. should i fill my study as my primary occupation or should i filling my work in Nigeria? if i fill my school/ studies, can still input monthly income in Nigeria or should I tick not applicable?
note i am going for a conference base on my research topic( thesis ).

I am currently studying in Cyprus I will be attending a conference in New york by September, Also my cousin in the US want me to use the opportunity to visit her, though she lives in Maryland with her husband. I will be visiting my family in Nigeria during the coming summer holiday and I intend to schedule my visa interview same period in August. Also, my cousin has indicate to pay for my flight, although I am capable of paying for myself as I have worked for 5years before I left Nigeria on study leave without pay. I also, have a business I run in Nigeria through my retired mum.
My questions are... What documents do I need to get from my school?
Do I need any document or letter from my cousin as I already have the invitation letter from the conference organizer?
Should I get my foreign account statement in Cyprus as I work part time in university pre school as graduate assistance?
Also I have been running my Nigeria account via online banking. I had a treasure bill, fixed deposit in Nigeria banks and a good balance of account.

Happy Sunday my sister, Actually, my brother is paying for my ticket and he has already paid the money in my account. I never intend to lie as a matter of fact, either myself, my brother has a good financial account. Why I suggested my brother is the fact that presently, I am a full time student and I am not working either. I had some cash fixed before I left Nigeria and the money has been paid to my account. So my account is in a good shape. Thanks for your advice.

I am a master student in one of the university in Turkey. I planned to attend a conference in the US as part of my research for my final thesis. My question is, who should I fill as my sponsor bearing in mind that I am cabable of financing my trip but as a student I think this will raise an eye brows. Should I use my mum account or my brother account. Thanks.

Pls my friend is going for a certification program of four weeks (CELTA) in new york. He is a Master student here in Cyprus, He would be through with his course load and left with his thesis by June when he plan to attend the program.
My question is what type of visa should he apply ( maybe M1 )
and can he apply for the visa here while he himself hold a student permit here? Thanks.

Good evening house, I will be apperaning at the embassy next month in cyprus. I am going for a conferences. the conference is paid conference and I was given option of paying by march 1st or at the conference. I intend paying after my interview and secondly, I have a treasure bill that is yet to mature and some money in my account in Nigeria that I like to use as my financial statement. My second question is that will the treasure bill be acceptable with my account as a financial status. Thanks

I have t bill of 6 month with maturity date of 7 of April 2016. I will like to auction it out for the remaining period. If anyone is interested. I can give 6percent for less than 91 days.

Good morning to the entire house. I am a master student at Cyprus international university in north cyprus. I am done with my first semester exam . I Will start my second semester which is the final semester before my thesis by February 23th. I will be attending a conference by April 4th to 8th at Baltimore, Maryland. I am a student member of the association related to my course and the association is having their 50th year annivery plus a seminar. I have been sent an invitation letter to attend the conference . I have been given till 1st of march to pay $185 dollars or to pay directely at the conference. My head of department has given me a letter of approval plus my student letter from the registrar. I like to know if it is better to apply from north Cyprus here or come and apply in Nigeria. Thanks

Communication and media study. I will prefer off campus accommodation as it is cheaper.Also hostel would be close during long summer semester break.

Well, I might also be going for my phd degree. I have been given my unconditional acceptance letter from ciu. I booked an appointment with the embassy.l was given 7th of August to appear but couldn't make it. I decided to wait for a month before I can make another appointment. Anyway what course are you going for.

We don't need to exaggerate things but I can say North Cyprus is a good location for study. Saying after prospective students have paid 1000€ will be able to work and cope in Cyprus is not totally true because they will need stable support in term of finance from home Please let us give correct and real information. Those that will come to the island will come fully prepared. Thanks

Mr wip. I read in the check list that flight reservation is part of the criteria needed. Does that means I have to book my flight ahead of time before appearing at the embassy. Thanks

Good evening house @ godson thanks for your reply. I went thru the check list for visa application and I saw two things that wasn't clear to me.The typhoid vaccination card and the National identity card. I ask for typhoid vaccination at the hospital but I was told that there is no card for that, I can only get treatment for typhoid. Concerning the National identity, I only have the paper confirmation slip, the real identity which is plastic is not yet out. I will appreciate any useful update concerning these issues. Thanks.
