BlueAngel444:With respect to the UCL, Juve were making finals and semi finals without Ronaldo. With him they can't get past Europe minnows like Ajax and Lyon. With respect to La Liga, this new team has played 5 of the traditional top 8 teams in La Liga already and have a game in hand. And also Ramos' penalty was "chalked" in. ![]() |
pu7pl3:Like i said, Thinking out of the box is not really your forte. These coaches are failures; subtly trying to make Messi the scapegoat for their failures. The club won't sack you for benching Messi, The club will sack you if you bench Messi and lose. They never had to balls to bench Messi because they knew with Messi in the team their chances of success rose astronomically. Bench Messi and win, nobody will touch you. Bench him. |
temi1290:His suggestion; Sell Messi, we have Fati. |
FergieRaww:Who's obsessed? Those who run in here at the 89th minute of a Barca match or who? The question is,; Why are you obsessed with Messi. If you were are better than Messi in your daily endeavour you wouldn't be here yapping on a Sunday. |
Carbon2Oxide:Like a great man said someone that can't even control the remote control in presence of his girlfriend insulting the great Messi. What am i saying; That applies if you even have a remote in your house sef. ![]() |
Carbon2Oxide:How many points were Madrid behind at a point last season before they came back to win the league? Can you remember? BTW; You want to compare a Madrid team which won the league last season and have the same first eleven with the same coach to A team with some new players and coach? Seriously? Because "you are Barca?" |
Funny lots masquerading as Barca fans. They don't talk about how much possesion he has in 90 minutes, they prefer to talk about how much possesion he loses. They don't talk about how many passes he makes, but how many passes he loses. Negativity is opportunistic, it's cawordice. Like i said before I like this team I see. It's a new team and in transition; New President, New manager, At least 5 new young players. Played 8 matches. Won 4 matches. Drew 2 matches. Lost 2 matches. Not too bad, you guys should stop nagging and giving these bloody trolls a field day here. |
Melvyn11:In this guy's era the club had the most productive period in its existence. 10 league titles 3 UCLs 6 ballon dors with its attractions to the club. Bench him and get fuccked. Tata what? |
pu7pl3:Leo is not your average player, get that into your greasy head. Not surprising you couldn't read between the lines. It's not your forte. If coaches knew they could bench him and easily win things still, they would bench him very easily. And he's be very "easy to coach" Leo is difficult to manage because at his level if you bench him you better win. If you bench him and lose, the entire world is going to fuuccck you... |
khingTony:Nonsese. The guy has given you a feeding bottle in your mouth for years, time to shut if off. In all the games we have won this season, Messi played a big part in those wins. He has deteriorated from operating at 95 percent to operating at 80 percent minimum, There is nothing average about his performances. He just isn't scoring. |
joviegghead:How come nobody's complaining about him having too much possession? The complain is about getting dispossessed. A lot of players in the team don't even have half the possession he has in a match. And what do you mean by frequently? If has the ball 50 times and losses it 5 times, is that frequently? Isn't that better than hiding in one wing and having the ball only 20 times and not losing possession at all? We need to look at how many time Messi possesses the ball and address that, not how many times he losses the ball. Dem guys should stop the excessive blame culture abeg. It is irritating. We are Barca! We are Barca!! na wetin we dey take deceive our self. This is a team in fuccking transition. |
Carbon2Oxide:Besides Griezman maybe, Messi is the attacker who tracks back the most. It's obvious people are always blocking you in your viewing centre so you hardly see that. And the place is probably always so noisy you don't hear the commentator praise him for that. In addition if you see the statistics, Messi is always the player with the highest possession, and the highest passes. What does this mean? It means that he's almost always the most hardworking player on the pitch. And what does this mean? He plays everywhere in attack and midfield, and still tracks back sometimes. If attackers don't get disposed, would football be needing any defenders in the first place? Have you ever heard of a coach relieving certain players of defensive duties? Ever head a thing like that. Task your brain more, you need to put your brain to full capacity. It has obviously fallen under range over the years. |
Karleb:Please someone should convince me this person is not on codeine and tramadol. Youths need to stay off drugs for real. |
![]() I work in Afam. Those protesters first burnt Oyigbo police station, burnt Afam police station, burnt Afam court, and killed one policeman, And then headed to Aba road, towards oil mill to confront the hausas and started burning their shops and attacking them. Stop fake news. This above is the timeline of the events of 20th October 2020. |
Debroslink:Who is your striker? Go and hold him for your goals, he's paid 60 million a week to score goals. Just like someone said, I think joviegghead, The trial version of your software is done, now you gotta pay up. |
Debroslink:Lemme pre-empt you. I guess you want to tell me that Ronaldo "allows" himself to be rested while Messi complains when he's rested. At Madrid Ronaldo never took kindly to being tested. Because he was chasing records and competing with Messi. He had a lot of cold beefs with his coaches at Madrid who attempted to rest him. Even at Juve there were a couple of games where Sarri subbed him off and he was obviously so mad at Sarri. So what is it you want to say again? How is Ronaldo more professional than Messi in this regard? |
Henri8:And where did I mention Ipob? The buyer is a Tinubu wailer obviously. |
hecomeshome:But you identified his name as Jamal abi? That's why i said names or corpses. If you cannot find the corpses okay tell us names na! Abi the government stole their names too ![]() |
Debroslink:You're not wrong. I want Messi to be rested from time to time, am sure we all do. Playing football at 33 is not easy, especially with the style of Messi. But my question was where you said Ronaldo is more professional than Messi because he is rested. Was it Ronaldo that rested himself? |
tunapawizzy:You get sense. Unlike those urchins that want to preach that PDP is better than APC, so they should return to power. |
jonsnow92:I think Busquets still has something to give but at this rate he should operate from the bench. Let's keep faith with Pjanic and see what he brings. |
Debroslink:I don't think Ronaldo has ever rested on hia own accord. In fact he has had serious problems in the past with coaches who dared to rest him. So could you pls explain exactly what you mean? |
You know, It's all so funny around here. Sell the ancestors!, Sell the ancestors!! Sack the coach, rebuild. We have taken a step towards rebuilding; Did we not all know it would come at a price? Couple of new young players, New coach. New philosophy. Management Issues. New President. If we are still thinking that we are Barca; and so despite all we you have been through the last 4 months, we're going to stroll past other stable la liga teams especially Madrid and Athletico then we are on a long thing. We're day dreaming! Other teams that do this take time to jell, and ours won't be different because "we are Barca". I like what I see in this team and it will get better. |
Funny how people go from 0 to 10 in three days. We win at midweek, the team is good. We.loae at weekend, the team is shit. We win again the team is good, we lose 3 days later, the team is crap. Everything was done tonight esp in the second half; the goal just wouldn't come. Honestly don't know what they should have done tonight but didn't do. This is football. Wednesday next. |
Ologbojo2023:Oooh I am shaking right now. God himself has spoken! Your father!! |
onuwaje:I think he should stick to his wing and stop trying to play everywhere. That way he wouldn't "get dispossessed many times" |
TLona1:The only sensible comment here. Good effort from the boys, they put in work! Good try. We move! |
Carbon2Oxide:You had to name yourself after a waste product. I can see why now. You're so bad even the human waste gas Carbon4Oxide is an upgrade on you. |
Adiwana:He had his back to the pitch and a defender was charging behind him. The best thing he had to do was play a short pass to his keeper and he did just that! I have seen several keepers clear the ball to throw in from that position if they felt unbalanced. But Neto wanted to turn like Neuer. Mtcheew |
Adiwana:Go and watch again. That he's out of his line doesn't mean he's not going to receive a back pass. The ball was played softly too and he trapped it well. He was trying to do a turn when it was taken off him. I don't know where you're watching but the commentators on dstv are even blaming Neto you are here talking another thing. |
Annie001:Twitter ![]() |
Adiwana:Jeez what did pique do agaiin? The other day Lenglet made a mistake people were blaming Pique. Now it's Neto and you're blaming Pique. |
