ComputersRe: Computer Science And Computer Engineering. Which One Is More Better To Study? by tessyade: 7:54pm On Dec 03, 2012
Both are good courses. I think you should get a little information about both courses and then decide on the one you'll do better in. All the best.

WebmastersRe: Mobil Version Of Website Desgner Needed. by tessyade: 5:02pm On Nov 27, 2012
PGON: Web design is fast evolving... Responsive webpages using 'media query' detects screen sizes and uses a particular CSS to render the page to suit the screen size and orientation.
And how is this related to the poster's request?
ComputersRe: Were Can I Get 14thousand Naira Labtop In Nigeria? Help Please! by tessyade: 2:55pm On Nov 27, 2012
I wish the poster listens to these advices so as not to fall prey to scammers. Looking for a laptop with just 14k is too ridiculous.
ComputersRe: Urgent Help On Laptop Theft by tessyade: 2:42pm On Nov 27, 2012
There is no I.T course that teaches how to find a stolen laptop. The best you can do is to search for it just as you do search for any other item.
ComputersRe: To Accept Or Not by tessyade: 2:39pm On Nov 27, 2012
The questions for you: Are you doing well with the I.T skills you have? Are you very sure you can do better with electronics or you just even the guy you saw? Sincerely answer these questions within yourself and then make your choice.
Christianity EtcRe: What Is Your Favorite Bible Translation? by tessyade: 7:25pm On Nov 26, 2012
Baba_Eleko: Thanks what stands the Quran out, it has only one accepted translation and cannot be retranslated.
You wonder why many people do not go near the quran since they can't understand it. The translations of the bible is meant for easier understanding by different people, that's a plus for the bible. @ topic NIV, king James and especially the message.
ComputersRe: Advice Needed: IT Field For Self Employment by tessyade: 5:45pm On Nov 22, 2012
Both are lucrative and both requires a lot from you. I think you should focus more on the one you have passion for instead of thinking of how lucrative it is. If you think of the money first, you 'll likely not make it. If you start any of them with passion, the money will come later. I'm into both field so i know what i'm saying.

ComputersRe: I Need A Free Computer. by tessyade: 1:58pm On Nov 07, 2012
@op getting someone to give you free computer online is very difficult since no one know you enough to be able to attest to your claim. I'll advise you seek help from churches or missions affliated or related to yours. Good luck.
ComputersRe: How To Prevent Computer Viruses? by tessyade: 1:53pm On Nov 07, 2012
Ensure you install a GOOD antivirus software immediately. I emphasize the word GOOD because we have a lot of fake antivirus in the market. Good luck to you.
CareerRe: 40k Monthly Permanent Job Or 80k Monthly Contract Job. Which Would You Choose? by tessyade: 9:00am On Nov 05, 2012
eagle,eye:
Op, it depends on who you are as a person. Do you believe in planning for long term or short term?
There is actually something like a permanent job. Ministry and other govt parastatals are of a permanent nature. They don't pay much but you have peace of mind and a long term view to plan you future.
I know because I work in a state ministry. When I started the pay is peanuts compared to what my friends where earning in the private sector. Fast forward 5 years after, some of my friends have been retrenched. Some wants to join the ministries because of job security. Me, I already have a business by the side and my salary is like an additional pocket money. And the best part of it.... I work 3 times a week (mostly half days)

So Op, make your choice.
I love this post. Some people are easily carried away by the initial pay that they forget other necessary factors to be considered. Enough advise for the poster, he should be able to take a good decision now.

Music/RadioRe: Nominees For Nigeria Radio Awards 2012 by tessyade: 9:03am On Oct 30, 2012
Everyone is mentioning different names, stations and presenters, then i ask myself 'is it possible to have all the above mentioned names as nominees?' To me you can never have an excellent award for a sector like radio or even television because one man's food is another's poison.

If this is actually from PDP then there are better days ahead of Nigeria. The days of do or die election is gone for good.

tonytopples: Gετ a book. There re so many small and handy books out there. Some of them even hawked that will introduce U̶̲̥̅̊ to d computer tech concepts. Read a little bit before enrolling in a computer school, that way U̶̲̥̅̊ pick up easily and move faster. Dnt worry if U̶̲̥̅̊ aren't understanding them initially, JƱڪτ̲̅ read on!
Get a book agreed but reading the book before enrolling in a computer school is not ideal. It may amount to a waste of time since he will not understand what he is reading.

CrimeRe: 13yr-Old Girl Narrates Her Ordeal With Ritualist by tessyade: 1:41pm On Oct 20, 2012
drzed: Abi? The story is too dramatic. And what I find most intriguing is the quality of English being used by this 13 year old, to express herself in the article (script) above.

Check these sentences out for example:

"Although we were blindfolded, yet, I was able to see a bit of what was going on. They decided Sunday would be my turn when they would conclude their rituals"

And this one...

"As a member of the drama group, we usually hold drama rehearsals every Tuesdays. So, it was co-incidental that the members of the group were there at that time".

There is something fishy here. How many graduates of today can express themselves with grammar of such quality? The flow, the punctuation, and vocabulary (e.g. "conclude their rituals"; "it was co-incidental"; etc) are not attributes you'd find in the written or spoken languages of typical 13 year olds.

We are here in Nairaland everyday and we see how both teenagers and even adults struggle to express themselves on common issues. Now, a 13 year old has used flawless grammar to narrate a story about kidnap and rituals. Hmmmm.....

I have been known to be wrong before anyway, but I am just saying. The story (and English) is too much like a script or what freecocoa termed as being "nollywoodish".

Anyhow, we thank God. The whole thing ended happily.
In trying to show they are wiser than all, some people display something else. Who told you the girl wrote the story? She only narrated, someone else wrote it. If there is any flaw or perfection in the grammar, the writer should be reponsible for that.
