@Pumping777,

Oga Pumping777, did I read that the minimum offer for subscription was 1,000,000 Units ? That should be N7m -are you leading a consortium of Private Equity Managers or would the money come from your pocket? Do you know what the ROI would be ? I'm interested but constrained by the price.
There are pockets and there are pockets and to quote someone you are big when you are big!

For those with pockets and notpockets and those with stashed cash read this: found it on a sister thread and i think wanajo can provide more info

MTN

telecommunications Company in Sub-Saharan Africa.

BEAR POINT: Listing date is unknown
NOTE:  The minimum investment of $5 million for individual clients is obtainable if 50 clients gather US$100,000.00 each.

For those new to this thread here is a crash course for you!

STOCK MARKET TIPS FOR NIGERIANS 101

1. Read from page 1 to date
2. Ask questions
3. Choose "a school" to follow i.e The talibans "fundamenatlist"or suicide bombers "momentum traders" or like someone recently calls it "Hit and Run"
4. or better still, combine the schools afterall there is combined honors, "The fundamental-hit and run school"
5. Wait for crystal ball (just hope it has not broken because its been long we heard from the crystal ball)

NB: You might not need course 3-5. It depends on how serious a student you are!

@ BOTH OFFSHORE AND ONSHORE NAIRALANDERS!

If we continue this way the beauty of this thread will be lost. I think everybody that visits this site should be wise enough to separate the wheat from the chaff.

The Talibans, sorry "fundamentalist" keep it coming and suicide bombers, sorry "momentum traders" also keep it coming!

We are enjoying both your inputs!

Not sure, but i was reading it somewhere that u can have the two the accounts linked together at CSCS, I think you have to subscribe for that. Let the Gurus come and chip in. U can move ur account to one of them when u are done with ur "stunt" grin.

can one have 2 brokers?

i have a CSCS account and i'm thinking of opening a more risque account with another broker with money i can afford to lose (yeah right wink)

is this possible anyone?
Yeah, it is possible. Each broker will have you registered with CSCS separately.

@ Easioni

I intend to get some Crusader Insurance share. My question is, Is there any chance that it might clock N30 per unit before the next year runs out. If not, kindly advice me on a suitable security.

I have a specific target, and it is not necessary that the option you will give multiply in excess. I only need some change to launch my project.

Thanks in dvance
From #4 to #30? that your expectation is somehow too high. If thats the way stocks play out, we would all turn billionnaires before the end of next year

Reply from Jayon(is it because you called me on phone and I refused to pick up your call, that’s why you choose to spoil my image like this….well people if you are wondering who the person who called me asking for money was its Vic justice, I never wanted to expose him before but he has forced me to, and people its him, after this post don’t ever call me again.
Can't you see your line of reasoning huh If indeed it was VIC that asked you for money,do you have to post that all Nigerians ask you for money? You are just finding a way of "re-claiming what/who you are not" and Nairalanders are not stupid lipsrsealed VIC u are still da man!!!!!!

Christianity EtcWho Will Really Make Heaven? by texas543(op): 10:44pm On Sep 14, 2007
In this world, we have so many religions: Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Animism and so on. All the ardent followers of these religions believe they are the ONLY one right and make disparaging comments on others, even when there is no need for such. Everybody has suddenly turned himself/herself to “defender” of GOD. Most of these religions believe in heaven and hell.

This prompts my question: WHO WILL REALLY MAKE HEAVEN?

Thank God we dont have to wait forever again after IPOs and POs.

In a bid to improve the efficiency of the Nigerian Capital Market, the regulatory authorities - The Nigerian Securities & Exchange Commission and The Nigerian Stock Exchange; held a meeting with stakeholders (Issuing Houses and Stockbroking Firms) in the market today and the following decisions were AGREED UPON:

1. Henceforth, all public offers would be alloted via electronic means into Investors' CSCS account, this presupposes that before investors apply for public offers they are expected to have brokerage account with a stockbroking firm.

2. Certificates would ONLY be issued if investors fail to supply their CSCS account details on the application form.

3. Central Bank of Nigeria will no longer have to go through the verification process before allotment of the shares as was the case in previous offerings. This has been a bottle neck in allotments for previous public offers because of the beureaucracy involved. However, if there is any need to verify or investigate any application this would be done after the shares has been alloted.

The above decisions have thus been taken to strengthen investors confidence in the market.
