anonimi:You think the problems in the health sector are about minimum wage? It’s also a bit mischievous of you to bring this up as a win, considering the number of times doctors went on strike under GEJ. I guess the minimum wage increase didn’t fix that, eh? You’re a bright chap, but your problem is that you’re too fixated on partisan lines. I loathe both GEJ and Buhari’s performances, and that’s easy to do because I’m a taxpayer who pays a SUBSTANTIAL amount of money in tax and sees his money wasted by successive poor leaders. I hope your tax bill goes up significantly under a PDP administration so you can join me in raging against the machine without looking at political party ![]() |
SLAP44:While I agree that Buhari is clueless about the brain drain, GEJ didn’t notice either. Was he ‘illiterate’ too? |
akejujoe:Yep. Anytime this topic comes up, it becomes overrun with rape apologists and pastor worshippers. Many here will slit their grandmothers throat if their Pastor tells them to do so. There’s no smoke without fire. And there’s a reason why this man is frantically trying to kill all petitions against him. |
I believe all his victims. I believe their claims, and I’m in no doubt that he’s a rapist. Same way I’m convinced that most of the men that show up on every nairaland post about COZA rapist pastor to whine about ‘stale news’ and abuse the victims are closet rapists themselves. |
Dizzyrascal:The only people that pipe up with this ‘frustrated’ story and claim he was really a good president are those who were gullible enough to believe the man’s fables after he was cast out of power. Also, I clearly said ‘20000+’. That’s not an exact number, so I’m not sure about your call for precision. |
Dizzyrascal:One of the worst presidents we’ve ever had. His sheer mediocrity cost us big, not the least of all the 20000+ killed by Boko Haram under his watch. Also throw in the MASSIVE corruption this country experienced, wherein the benefits of a boom in oil earnings were wasted without significant improvement in infrastructure. Unfortunately, the backlash to his terrible presidency brought us Buhari |
Mixed feelings. |
Reading the text, it’s clear Makinde didn’t condemn the idea of Model schools. What he condemned was building just a few and calling it a day, vs a systemic plans to upgrade ALL schools. His plan seems to call for upgrading schools gradually, starting with this first 5. I don’t see any hypocrisy here. |
DesChyko:Any idea on the details of the MOU you claim Julius Berger flouted, or this is just you gullibly swallowing what the communities are saying. |
DesChyko:Nice try, except that this has nothing to do with EIA promises being broken, and more to do with greedy folks not getting unmerited bribes. Even the work they gave them, the spokesman is admitting they didn’t fulfill it, blaming it on the rain. DesChyko:Which Biafra? By ’you people’, I’m not referring to any ethnic group but all unserious minded people drawn from the North and South, lumped together and put in your own country where critical, capital projects are regularly interrupted for bribes. |
Wickedfacts:My brother, leave these people. As we speak, IPNX is digging around and inside my estate to lay fiber optic cables for fast broadband internet. We’re giving them everything they need to accelerate the project since we know that the cable will benefit residents immensely and help boost property values. Not a single person here is asking for cut or contract to provide diggers or trenchers. I remember Akin Alabi sharing on Twitter how a community he bought a transformer for, the area boys demanded bribes before the transformer could be installed. He simply diverted the transformer to a nearby community that also wanted one and left the greedy community in darkness. |
cjudy:You actually want the project to stop because some people claim they haven’t gotten contracts? You people hate progress in Nigeria. See your mouth like “you can’t do such in their country” as if in their country, you will drop bribes and provide employment for the children of the local ‘big men’ for a project that’s supposed to help them. When Amazon was looking for a city for their new headquarters, American states were lobbying Amazon with tax breaks and concessions because they knew a new Amazon headquarters would provide tens of thousands of lifetime local jobs. Trump kept wooing Foxconn to come set up a factory in the US. But here, you will open your mouth and call for the project to be stopped because of egunje. I wish we could pack all of you people into one country of your own and leave naija for serious minded people. |
Greedy ingrates! Bridge that will SIGNIFICANTLY benefit the local communities, they are disrupting work because of casual labor. Staff that haven’t been working - using rain as an excuse - have been laid off and they are complaining. Imagine disrupting work at a bridge meant to benefit you because you’re wailing about ‘manner of approach’. cjudy:Were you born yesterday? You don’t know this is the typical method host communities use when they want short term bribes and gratification? Is it white men that are going to be carrying sand and stones? FAR more likely that the host community reps want lucrative deals and contracts for themselves. But they know gullible people will fall for this. |
TSTV is a scam. |
I hope all of you clowns on the first page hyping up Timi Frank will contribute money when it’s time for him to pay damages for the libelous statements he made ? Vanguard don capitulate. One down. |
Mutteeme:Unfortunately for you, nobody will even give you the opportunity to be a mere commissioner. |
Yankiss:Nothing is fishy. You just can’t read |
ursullalinda:So why hasn’t vanguard interviewed Nnamdi Kanu about Buhari and then published it unedited? |
Reading through, the woman has no case and basically admits to attempting to blackmail the man into giving her huge sums of money. All this after making her ex-husband’s life a misery |
No comment on the video, but that song is truly awful and represents a whole lot of noise. |
These greedy senators are insatiable |
This man isn’t very bright. At all. |
Mad people. Mock Sowore for supporting Buhari in 2015, but you came out to campaign for and vote for Atiku who bankrolled the Buhari campaign in 2015! Atiku did FAR more than most people to put buhari in power in 2015 yet it’s the small fry that merely posted social media articles that the GEJite hypocrites mock. |
Truth be told, you get what you pay for. |
alabimustcry:You’re misguided, sir. Some of these schools are significantly better than these declining Federal Govt universities. |
People with zero technical skill masquerading and IT gurus. Na WA. |
Me I know that all the brainwashed people defending Biodun Fatoyinbo will not leave their teenage daughters alone with him ![]() |
izombie:Man, the end result is the same. You are being led by Buhari. Whether or not you flocked to his side or not is immaterial. This is as laughable as saying a Goat that struggled before it was slaughtered is in a better way than a goat that resigned itself to be slaughtered. Both goats become Asun and pepper soup. Finally, I’m not sure where you got the idea that I’m Yoruba. Lol |
Davash222:I find this distinction quite funny indeed, as if the only Mugus are the South westerners. Same way they’ve been using the South East, tbh. |
tillaman:History won't forget all the people he killed, the men, women and children that starved in a famine of his own making, and the major role he played in destroying the economy of Zimbabwe |
randolphgow:Cool. In which one? |
