KingAzubuike:It seems you were there. Perhaps the DSS should invite you for questioning... |
But trump doesn’t pay tithes or sow seeds. Also has had multiple divorces, extra-marital affairs etc. Inspiration indeed. |
makdcash: Femijohn198: ProfDview:Nigerian men hate women so much, that they are gullible enough to fall for any tall tales about them. 99.9% likely that the man was abusive and the woman did no wrong. Jealous and abusive husbands will always cling to the 'she is having affairs' line. Misogynists love to hear that! |
Sirjamo:Meanwhile I'm trying to figure out why you're apparently so delusional that you cannot recognize the country you live in. In a country where people are arrested for long hair, plaited hair, driving a flashy car, refusing to assent to an illegal phone search and for tattoos, you're still in denial that people can (and are!) wrongfully arrested by security agents? Really? |
Kingrexyl:Yep. It's a full Windows 10 PC. It'll run any PC game. |

People saying ‘they tried’ cannot be serious. This is a faulty uncomplicated design. How could they not achieve it? |
N20000 per person is largely meaningless, and with no transparency as to how the recipients were determined, this just seems like an elaborate new year present. Waste of taxpayer funds. |
From the poor grammar in the press release, I’m inclined to believe she wrote it herself. |
olabrinks:This makes zero sense. Stop making excuses for toxic people. If the genders were reversed and the OP was a woman coming to complain about a toxically jealous husband, you wouldn't accuse her of cheating. Very many partners are jealous and insecure without cause. It's extremely common. Why don't you know this? |
Redeakaa:It's not just you that's mentally unwell. You and Every single one of the 42 people that 'liked' this deranged post are rapists in the making. |
Thiwalade:You'd be a clown to marry at this point. |
nanaman:There is no ‘what transpired’ there. The biological father has played no part in her life to date, for the past 16 years, and the girl in question is in a stable family at the moment. Unless the mother has no legal representation or has no money for a legal battle, no chance of anyone in Nigeria winning custody for the deadbeat dad. |
nanaman:Legally, the so-called ‘real father’ has zero case and zero chance of winning a custody battle. Zero. |
There are actually dunces here lauding this and praising this waste of taxpayer funds. Your own parents work for a living and are expected to use their salaries to procure vehicles for themselves. Teachers, doctors, engineers, lawyers etc are expected to buy their own vehicles to enable them work. Why is it politicians that then need taxpayer funded vehicles to ‘do their work properly’? This Sunday, for all those who Are celebrating this, I rebuke the spirit of craven, cowardly and disgusting sycophancy you’ve just exhibited. I keep urging the Government to expand the tax net as wide as possible, so when you people start paying taxes, you will understand the value of money. |
SoNature:A service set up to counter armed robbery extorted N1000 from you for nothing and you’re here giving them the benefit of the doubt? Are you normal at all? Like, is there some sort of retardation at play here? Why assume your experience Has to be the same with other people? This is as daft as someone saying “I don’t believe armed robbers ever beat or rape people because the armed robbers that came to my house did not beat me or rape my sister” Receive sense this 2020. |
Someone made up a story on Facebook and it’s become a front page story on Nairaland. Na wa. |
Doesn’t look great, to be honest. Creativity is good, but it should look appealing. |
CSTR2:You think reputable Nigerian hospitals can’t manage that ? From released videos, The guy seemed to have just abrasions. No sign of any major blow that could have led to suspicion of internal bleeding. The guy just wanted a trip to Dubai. |
Ijaycool:Nothing he was inflicted with that can’t be treated at Reddington or numerous other private medical facilities nationwide. |
ThreeBlackBird:Lol. Grandpa ke. Still in the 30s. It’s been nearly 15 years now...plenty things don change. I’ve never been able to return to Ohafia since then. |
yinchar:At your age, you're this gullible? You believe FIFA would issue a LIFE BAN for failing to respond to an email? |
rusher14:You're deluded if you don’t know the budgets are as padded as ever. |
GrayBeard:Of all the statements around this Sanusi issue, i find the 'the amount kept changing' argument to be the most intellectually lazy and dishonest one. Essentially because it betrays a complete lack of understanding about the issues. Sanusi never claimed $49bn was stolen. NEVER. Check anywhere. He wrote a memo to GEJ saying that based on the volume of crude oil sales in a specified period, a certain amount of money was meant to be remitted to the Federation account ($65.3bn). However, in that period only $15.2 bn was remitted, leaving a shortfall of $49bn which was not explained. His memo to GEJ asked him to - Require NNPC to provide evidence for disposal of all proceeds of crude sales diverted from the CBN and Federation Account; - Investigate crude oil lifting and swap contracts, as well as the financial transactions of counter-parties for equity, fairness and transparency; and - Authorise prosecution of suspects in money-laundering transactions, including but not limited to BDCs who are unable to account for hundreds of millions of dollars. Take a look at the first article. He wanted GEJ to investigate the reason for the shortfall and compel NNPC to transparently explain why the money was not remitted. Does that sound like an accusation of $49bn theft to you? Guess what happened? President Goodluck Jonathan sat on the memo and did nothing, despite being personally clueless about the reasons for the shortfall himself. Only after the memo leaked that the NNPC started the process of coming up with clarification and explanations for some of the shortfall. And every single time the NNPC came up with reasons, Sanusi did what any sane, educated person would do and subtract the amount that has been explained credibly from the total unremitted amount. So of course, the money that Sanusi considered 'unaccounted for' would change infrequently. That's common sense. In fact, the NNPC had to claim they spent billions on Kerosene subsidy that had been outlawed by GEJ years ago! It took the NNPC WEEKS to account for much of that cash, to the extent that the FG was forced to pull together a PWC audit. There was NEVER any carelessness with figures. Figures will always change everytime reconciliation effort is put in. But guess how Nigerians - who should know better - reacted to Sanusi's robust challenge for transparency? They lazily fell into the 'figures are changing' narrative. Additionally, see below Mr. Sanusi said the NNPC’s claim that 80% of the unremitted funds came in form of subsidy on kerosene cannot stand since a presidential directive had long barred such subsidy. “NNPC must show where it got the authority to buy kerosene at N150 and sell at N40, and then inflict the burden of loss on the federation account,” he said.Despite the fact that the CBN's memo exposed an ongoing Kerosene subsidy that should not have been in place, nobody was sanctioned by GEJ for this. Billions of dollars! And despite the Sanusi memo leaking in September 2013, more than a year later, the NNPC were unable to fully account for $10bn even with the Finance ministry looking in Despite data and documentation provided by the CBN governor, the government has denied losing money. At a meeting with the Senate Finance committee in December, Finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, said a government inter-agency committee, which includes the NNPC and the CBN, had realized that “only” $10.8 billion was yet to be accounted for.Trust Nigerians. An ever cowardly, misguided lot. It's the person who blew the whistle that exposed discrepancies that is being attacked today. |
dokyOloye:And yet the forensic audit said otherwise. |
dokyOloye:Nothing SLS said was a lie. You corruption loving GEJ acolytes will not rewrite history to suit yourselves. |
AstralBody:Same way it treated Atiku , eh? |
AstralBody:How much oversight will he have over this administration when he’s not in Government. He was the CBN Governor and an FEC member under GEJ. People spent good money to educate you. So embarrassing and disappointing for you to display this critical lack of common sense in your comments here, just because of partisan politics. |
AstralBody:Sanusi never accused GEJ of corruption. He accused the NNPC of corruption and asked GEJ to prove and investigate them. Is it SLS fault that GEJ foolishly jumped in like a Voltron to defend the indefensible ? |
Very credible allegations that the man embezzled money meant to arm and equip soldiers, indirectly contributing to the deaths of thousands of civilians and soldiers. I think many people feel this is Karma at work. |
They should send his name to all other airlines - local and international - so he gets a flight ban. |
