If they do that, there will be an uprising! The protesters however will not be the owners of the filling stations, no! It is the poor Nigerians that are being exploited that will protest against the prosecution of their oppressors. Buhari did something similar in the 80s and decades later, some Nigerians criticised him for doing so. Pierohandsome: This issue of ordering them to sell at 145 will not solve it. Once they are caught they should not only arrest the manager , but empty the whole fuel to the people for free, and therfter withdraw their license and shut dwn the station.
By so doing, watch how everyone of them wil comply MODIFIED: Just see below a post by one of the funny Nigerians I am talking about. We Nigerians deserve to suffer. When sense falls on us, we will move forward. orion7: just see this thief. instead of you to turn ur gaze on minister of iol you are here trying to bullly business men that buy fuel did you boroww them money to buy the fuel they are selling? |

Diablo666: There was a thread yesterday I think about Nigeria being ranked 6th in Africa financial markets despite its huge market but yet poorly ranked due to lack of transparency. I think this is a typical case scenario. I don't side with any party here cos I don't know the in-detail of their respective transactions but I think innosson would suffer bringing this rift to the public the most cos his name is now connected to fraud and that will deter any foreign investors. Really wish they had quietly resolved this mess Don't mind him and those people deceiving him. Is he the only rich man that ever borrowed from the bank. Does he know how much dem dangote have borrowed and not played yet? They always settle the thing quietly. |

adedehinbo: don't be an hypocrite, most Libyans wants gadaffi, few ones backed by western forces were the ones staging the foolish protest, now I think they re enjoying the democracy american brought to them You lie! Most Libyans wanted Gadaffi out! There was rampant corruption in Libya by 2011 and unemployment rate rose to 30%. Human right abuse was rampant, hundreds of protesters were killed by gadaffi and so bad was the situation that several of his cabinet members resigned and joined the opposition. Libyans were tired of this annoying sit tight dictator who many libayans refered to as the mad dog. For your information they are enjoying the democracy. D Have you ever heard of Libyans running to Italy or Spain? They are only separated from italy by the sea, but they are not desperate to go there. It is we Nigerians that will sell our inheritance to enter Libya. They are proud of their country while we are here calling our country a zoo. Well the Libyan are showing us how animals in the zoo should be treated. |

Barzinime: I can see how Libya has become prosperous since his demise...the western world instigated his removal cos he wanted Africa to be free from their influence... You are here saying nonsense white slave To blame western world for your inadequacies na your way. Gadaffi was a brutal tyrant that oversaw the killing of many of his people. Libyans said they didnt want him but nigerians are here hailing him. Why did he not just leave when it seemed most of his people wanted him out? War creates a scar on a people which only clears off over time, Libya is no exception. Libya is fine for Libyans, it is only hell for illegal migrants. Did you see Libyans trooping into Nigeria, Ghana or even Spain the way Nigerians are doing? There is nothing wrong with Libya. We should respect the laws of other countries and we will be just fine. They called their country a zoo, they went to libya illegally and we saw how they were begging to be returned to the zoo. |

Shameless nigerian youths living on less that a dollar a day who will not hesitate to lynch a petty thief that stole #5000 in the market will storm this thread to politicise this noble move by the government to investigate this man. If Nigeria stays behind for long, it will not be because we have bad leaders, it will be largely because we have youths whose minds have been eaten up by ethno religious sentiments. They will always defend the corrupt politicians whose children are abroad feeding fat on our common wealth. |

When Julius Berger is still parking Nigerian money through the fraudulent government you installed after colonization.
When Shell and your other oil companies are still drilling Nigerian oil and defacing the owners environment.
When most stolen money ends up in your country.
When neocolonialism has always helped sharpen your economy.

Well they should be tried in a competent court of law and if found guilty justice should be served accordingly. I learnt a very important lesson from this incident "never underestimate the power of a woman" Well, the 'powerful woman' is now covering her face in shame and I am sure is also licking her wounds in regret. The only thing I learnt is the wisdom in self restraint in the face of provocation. |
