jobaltol: A country where they know the impact of corruption.... A country where the ministers listen to the opinion of the masses.. A country where the ministers have to witness the ill effect of corruption themselves without waiting for the committees to be set up.
Am very sorry to say....if Uganda continues like this ... in the next couple of years...Nigerians would be lobbying to get their visas like how we are lobbying for South African visas Many months ago, in a sting operation organised by the nigerian government, some judges were caught red handed taking bribe. What did the nigerian masses do? The defended the judges, they fought hard and called it media trial. We deserve the corrupt leaders we have. Shay among us there is a popular saying which has it that where man dey work na there e dey chop. Our leaders are not the only problem with Nigeria, the people too are! |

Hedonistically: You're pretty stupid if you think that yahoo boys and their petty online schemes are a bigger problem for Nigerians than government and private sector corruption.
So because you are among the 1% of Nigerians privileged to travel outside the country, your own concern is about the treatment you get from foreigners? How about the millions of Nigerians back here at home whose lives are made miserable by government corruption? That's not an issue I guess, because smug hypocrites like you are more interested in being treated like royalty abroad...for what exactly?
As long as resources are limited (as they certainly are), then the EFCC must prioritise! Which is the bigger priority? Chasing after yahoo boys or chasing after those who steal billions of Naira meant for improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians? That is the essence of my argument. You are the one that is stupid for thinking 'Petty thieves' should go unpunished. If you like don't look for something noble to do, continue scamming, the long term of the law will soon catch up with you. Poverty does not permit you to steal! EFCC is working tirelessly to put you and your cohorts where you rightly belong. |

Wat exactly are dis innocent boys arrested for?

Or
Sombody was playing number puzzle with his laptop nd mistakenly breaks tru a banks firewall ( innocently oo) nd continues playing number puzzle
It's now a crime for sombori to fall out of love with a white woman or to play game with somboris laptop again
#Eco99# Hedonistically: What is the staff strength of the EFCC?
Because I don't think it makes sense to waste scarce manpower and resources chasing rats, when there are real issues and bigger problems to focus on. Millions of young Nigerians are into Internet fraud anyway, and insofar as they are not an immediate threat to the security and wellbeing of the country, the EFCC should focus on the humongous corruption going on in every government institution (at state, federal and local government levels) as well as the fraud in key private institutions such as banks. These are more injurious to the average Nigerian citizen than petty Internet hustles by frustrated youths. Robi65: Tell all this fuxk retards to leave dem boys alone .... Dem yahoo boys are only retrieving our lost assets
Robi65 Elnino4ladies: God bless all the G boys IamAirforce1: So someone cannot have a private laptop again without been tagged a yahoo boy
The politicians who stole your billions are still walking free .. why harrass this young boys for no crime .. sunshineV: Issit like EFCC is mad abi pesin no go chop? What about those thieves in aso rock wearing agbada? chiiraq802: Wire wire,,,,mk efcc leave men ooo, na hustling tinz...Dis country no get way forward ... three: Did the teachers actually go to school? Do they have valid NCE certification or just NEPA Bills There are many sound graduates in kaduna, I mean really sound ones who are roaming the streets unemployed. The job much of the time goes to very dumb people that are connected. In many schools in kaduna today you will find English teachers that teach the English language in Hausa. Well, I must commend elrufai because he conducted a recruitment exercise that saw to the employment of many graduates who are sound and not connected. In fact, some of them are not from kaduna state. MY only dream for now is to see the day a governor in my state will sack all those dolts posing as teachers, destroying the future of our children. The masses will fight him as usual, but it will give me great pleasure. |

Once Igbos leave this country, no investor will ever like to invest in a country that see violation of human rights as nothing. By Ifeanyi Nwoko Nigerians have been warned to stop making mockery of the Supreme Leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un “lest they pay a heavy price”. A news service from the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (DPRK), took to its twitter handle @DPRK_News to issue the warning. The twitter handle does not bear the verification icon of twitter as an officially verified handle. It said: “Impudent peoples of Nigeria are warned against mockery of Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Un, lest they pay a heavy price.” North Korea and its leader had been top on the news for its nuclear programme with the most recent being its successful test of a Hydrogen Bomb which many World leaders have condemned. However, no reference was given to the alleged mockery of the North Korean Leader by Nigerians. Meanwhile the tweet had generated a lot of comments from Nigerians who made more fun with the warning. Now you will expect the police to conduct an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his escape and if possible arrest those who assisted him but they won't. You will expect them to investigate who he was sourcing the body parts for, but they won't. They will just arrest and jail him and the buyer of the human spare parts will hire someone else to continue with the supply chain. |

tolutweety: Since you know the bolded..I would advise you weigh your decision carefully before leaving.
@DanXplore: to do the bolded, you need money. This, you might not get from just studying alone on scholarship in the UK.
Summarily, Both sides of the coin has its pros and cons. I have friends who came back after their MSc and had to start with the KPMG offer, and I have a few who found a way to stay back, and a very few who flew down to the US to get offers. So, the path for A might not necessarily be the path for B!
My candid advice (might not necessarily be the right one) -
1)I don't know so much about this PTDF thing, but if you can, reroute your schooling to the US with the scholarship.(IF YOU CAN !) 2)If you chose to accept the offer and travel to the UK; go with as much money as possible aside your scholarship. you will need it.You dont want to be stranded in another man's country. 3)If you chose to stay back with what you earn in Nigeria, It's not the worst of decisions.Sometimes, It is not always greener on the other side. Make more money where you work and refire for another scholarship and admission in other countries where the future is much guaranteed after the Masters program .
Go with your gut. Ciao!!
Pdf scholarship is a full scholarship, with pdf you cannot be stranded. I got it once and after I came back I stayed for years without a decent job. I feel pained each time I remember that experience. But we have different experiences in life. I advice DanXplore to take the scholarship, but start making plans for life after Msc RIGHT NOW! I joke not. I suffered because I was so optimistic about getting a job once I completed my programme but the recession disappointed me in 2009 when I finished my programme. |
