SalamRushdie: Maybe if we had allowed him define both corruption and stealing in the context he was trying to relay may be then we would not be in the mess we are in today , Jonathan wasn't as dull as we thought then , his weakness was his poor aura and his failure to send Diezani and Co parking when it became obvious she was no technocrat but a kleptokrat...Truth be told Nigeria wasn't fair to Jonathan but Jonathan wasn't also fair to himself by being a very weak , unconvincing and clumsy leader.
who stopped him from defining it? ever drunken clown.
happney65: And he is President for over two years now,who has he sent to jail?Ohh,am sorry he is a messiah who wont take any blame but to blame the other person..Ohh the Messiah that would turn around and make Nigeria into the UK but hasnt being able to do nada but would look the other way and keep on blaming someone else..Shioor
He sent Dasuki and you guys have been whining ever since. When he went for Diezani you guys cried foul! Is America now not on her trail? Your silent prayer has always been that no one should be prosecuted. Don't act like you hate the corruption he set himself out to fight.
Nice write-up, I also supported the Mr president out of anger and frustration coming from us over here seeing the country on flame with daily bombing from Kano to Abuja thereby tarnishing our image over here.
But the president has failed due to his unguided statements and the handle of our economy.
I wish him well and also urge him to resign honorably so that another person can take us through to the promise land.
Proudly Igbo.
That's good to hear Nword22. It will be well with Nigeria
happney65: He is not a thief abi?But himself and thieves bought him into Government?Isn't it?Abeg go and suck breast joo..Yeye talk
Do you have any suggestion on how to get a person who is not corrupt into power without the support of the thieves? Do you? Or is your own just to jump online and rant? How many of his kind do we have in the north? How many in Nigeria? People like you make matters worse by hailing and promoting the thieves I mentioned. Are Diezani and Saraki and Dino not the mentors of young Nigerians like you who expect things to get better? Matthew!
Baba I supported your candidature out of a pure commitment to the cause of the Nigerian Project. I am a northern Christian who has several times been a victim of Islamic extremists. You were not a popular candidate among my people but in spite of so much backlash from your opponents among my people I supported you. The reason for my undying loyalty to you lies in the fact that unlike majority of our politicians, you are not a thief! But it is clear you are not the one in charge of this country anymore, no thanks to your failing health. Some members of your cabinet have committed themselves to the ignoble task of irreparably tarnishing your image. Please baba, do what is noble, what is sane, what is just. Resign and hand power to v.p. Osinbajo! That way, you will retain your place in the hearts of loyalists like me. I wish you a quick recovery my president. Yours most loyal, Teya
akeensbussy: It is not the exchange rate of the country currency that determines the standard of living but Manufacturing and Exportation of goods and services that does that.
Compare South Korean Won to Libya Dinar.
Then compare their standard of living.
which is more developed?
LOLHow many Nigerians know that? many Nigerians youths will storm the thread hurling curses at their country not knowing that serious manufacturing economies like Turkey and China once crashed their currencies on purpose to gain an economic end.
Check out how Nigeria born Sosoliso plane crash survivor Kechi Okwuchi wowed Simon Cowell and other America's got talent judges, getting a standing ovation both from audienice and judges. Kechi is one of the two survivors of the plane crash that claimed the lives of 107 of the 109 passengers on board.
SalamRushdie: Yes everyone knows how expensive it is to fund police investigation in Nigeria where those who report a case are expected to fund it's investigation to a conclusive end
TruePass: No go say na same with Nigeria. A country where u can comfortably take your baby out with 100rands or even buy better thing inside Shoprite. 5 rand get big value here, u fit use em board taxi, pay for an hour for internet service even buy cold drink drink. If u give babe 5rand she go smile any time she see u, u fit chop her later self. Na hell u nah dey. Una no know.
See mode of Reasoning! Do they share free 100rand in south Africa?
SalamRushdie: You obviously have not heard the audio because if you did you will know the headline is completely misleading and the Senator was only narrating how far the case had gone to a friend
And how he 'spent so much money without the support of his billionaire friends' did you miss that part? Why was it necessary for him to spend so much?
but are you not suprise that a silly unverified story like this with serious divisive tendencies was still moved to the front page by someone? Huh? Are you not surprise?
what a silly boy he is! you will arrest her? if i am your sister i will just vanish and abort it in another town and come back later. he is not married to her, has not paid anything, what makes him think he has a say?
mu2sa2: Pastors in this country are becoming a national embarrassment on account of their unwholesome actions and dumb utterances. Fulani produce virtually all the beef in Nigeria- for how long can the beef boycott be sustained? Anyway, non- Christians outnumber Christians and will continue enjoying their beef stews, suya, bokoto, cowtail pepper soup etc making such boycott a mockery. Btw, how fair is it to accuse millions of fulani herdsmen for the crime attributed to a few of them? The fulani themslves were victims of a terrible massacre carried out by local christians in southern kaduna a few years ago. When the fulani, who are mostly Muslims, were being slaughtered nobody did anything about it. Everyone knows that the fulani don't forgive in their culture - so the circle of violence sadly looks like it will take a while to stop, especially given that the fulani, who are well-armed, are adopting guerrilla warfare tactic.
In which part of southern Kaduna were fulanis slaughtered few years ago?
