TheSuperNerd: The bolded is what Ndidi needs to understand and work on.
Evans was definitely a culprit in the whole fiasco and the entire Leicester set-up in the counterpress was an issue. It is true but it also doesn't exonerate Ndidi's part in that defensive fiasco.
It's better we stay focused on the fact of Ndidi's passing limitations in possession and poor press-resistance coz those have been issues with Ndidi for a while now. Yesterday was bound to happen at some point eventually because his ball-playing has been underpar for too long. This is what we have to admit to ourselves and hope he can work on to some extent.
Several other DMs would still receive that pass from Evans in that position and hit it towards Wout Faes in the other defensive halfspace. Many other DMs would make cakewalk of that pass and easily switch plays.
Ndidi's underpar Ball-playing and poor awareness in that instant turned a routine pass into a dangerous situation that cost Leicester.
Now even in defensive actions, Ndidi was also found wanting yesterday. Ndidi's a natural ball winner and Midfield warrior but his defensive side failed him yesterday as he lost all his ground duels. He didn't win one. He also didnt make a single successful tackle for 85mins. It was that bad.
Evans definitely has fair share of the blame but Ndidi also holds major shares in the blame and should just look forward to bouncing back from this.
Like I concluded on twitter in my nutshell analysis of Ndidi's display yesterday,
Wilfred Ndidi remains Nigeria's best CDM FOR NOW but IN TIME, his UPGRADE MUST Step in. Seconded as the majority vawulence leader In the house of comeradium indidi has been playing"majakobaje lowo mi"style and sonner or later something like this is bound to happen so all this shalaye wey Blue font dey do we understand but I like the way you put this comment nothing to add or remove straight to the point

TheSuperNerd: Lmaoooo.... you guys just love to talk. I ignore once, twice but this... naaah.
...Says someone who is still bitter about being exposed by me, on the Women football thread, as one who was masturbating or humping over a Michelle Alozie photo. You just couldn't help yourself. Could you? Ofcoz I know those who truly appreciate me. You are not among. So no dey disguise to make a stupidly nonexistent point. So standing up for myself is now wrong? Mtcheewww
Anyways,
Food for thought:
Wherever this thread is mentioned nationwide be it in sports groups or anywhere at all. Between your moniker and mine, we both know who will be remembered and mentioned the most. It's no news that my moniker has gotten that far in the football world.
Yet, your irrelevant self says "resort to nothing". Loollll. Just nonsense talk spilled by people I can only classify as haters. Haters and jealous idiots seeking attention.
Now, Little boy, I was literally contacted by a sports media outfit in Nigeria, whose name I won't reveal, just 11 days ago to make out Time for TV appearances. I have had offers I have turned down not only because I have a job as a doc that takes the most of my time but because of other engagements I won't mention and also because I enjoy my partial anonymity.
I am going places both in my job and thanks to one of my hobbies being football analysis and discussions. So you may need to redefine what you mean by Nothing. because bruv, I am "Nothing" like you. And you aren't "Something" like me.
My name has even gone international bruv and till today, I have people outside the country in football who still reach out to me and contact me. So, Me and Nothing can't possibly be in the same sentence.
People talk about BascoVanVeli and TheGoodJoe wherever this thread is mentioned. They still talk about safarigirl despite her long absence. And ofcos, no surprises as they still always talk about TheSuperNerd as a strong point of reference and discussions.
Even as we speak, My name pops up in one sports group or the other. No caps. It is not arrogance. It is just facts.
I have never heard mostob come up as a discussion or point of reference outside here in sports groups. Never seen.
So bro... you are the Nothing. Not me.
You and your kinds are obviously the pigs. The Nothings.
Have a fine day, Mr. Nothing. gbemidabe super man this one off me I don dey amazed even maize know fit sweet for my mouth for now

PurpleHouse: Oga go and sleep.
Nobody hates him. I don't hate him. This is why Nigeria is messed-up because of people like you always trying to play the "good guy" by not speaking truth to power.
You see someone who is mediocre being hyped in the midst of other great ballers who deserve the attention, you are saying hate. Abeggeee!
It was people like you that brought Buhari on us all, and still won't speak up when things go down. Learn when to be diplomatic and when to stand for truth. People like you who want to be always good cause big problem for every one else by trying to seen as the good guy, especially in national issues. Take the bull by the brokos and stop being the "Mr. Nice Guy."
Alhassan is there, Onyedikachi (the guy at Brugge) is there, and you're all here saying we hate one average kid who couldn't stay in Arsenal reserve and Porto B team.
