Like it or not, Kelechi Nwakali was not stellar at the AFCON, but he definitely showed class.

The only reason he showed that class was because we had a manager who believed in his quality and was ready to overlook his situation.

If you do not get the chance, you keep falling down the ladder. It does not mean the player is not quality.

A good example is Mikel and Stephen Keshi. If Stephen Keshi did not come into the picture at that particular time, we might never have believed Mikel could play the creative midfield role with such a class. In such was that he stood out when compared to classy African midfield players at the AFCON.

If Keshi had just looked at Mikel's situation, and the history of his club football, he would have denied one of the best midfield performances of an African at the AFCON.

I prefer looking at quality, with respect to tactics and making decisions, not looking at the decisions of foreign coaches to dictate our paths.
