I love this guy, he's a typical example of "hardwork beats talent".

Messi may be naturally gifted, but this guy is a Trojan horse.

If Ronaldo wasn't in the picture, Messi wouldn't have stayed in the lime light this long, as south Americans don't last too long in the scene before being overthrown!

To all those castigating him, if you work half as hard as this guy works, you won't have the time to throw shades at other people going about their businesses!

They said "everybody lives 15mins in a different time zone", but this guy has been on a different time zone for 15yrs.

Some of you all throwing shades at him don't even have a working wall clock.

Before you come throwing shades at me, I'm a strong fan of Z. Zidan seconded by Ronaldinho, and not these two.[\b]

Education › Re: What You Must Consider Before You Choose A Course To Study by Tflex01: 8:27am On Sep 14, 2019
Check the employment rate of that course, study what interest you in case you don't land a good job on time.

Students in sciences should consider courses like pharmacy, medicine, nursing strongly if the interest is there.

My personal opinion and advice.

This is what most Yorubas don't understand about the Igbos and that is why they will continue to win events like this. Yorubas will keep an open mind and divide their votes even for the Igbos. But Igbos will never vote a Yoruba person. Never! cool

And who gave it to them in the first place, out of greed you invited an outsider to help you kill your own brother and it is still happening in this present time all over yoruba land. In my place outsiders don't dabble into family matters not talking of inviting them to come.
Lol... See another one. grin

Do you know what they called "war"huh

There was war between Oyo and Ilorin and Alimi was a friend a neighbouring town to Afonja in the present day Niger state. Even Afonja had helped Alimi earlier.

You guys are just putting mouth in what you have no knowledge of.

I know the whole story my brother. That is why I always say the folly of Afonja will never be repeated on planet Earth. [s]You southwesterners should learn to keep religion in it deserved place like the rest of the south.[/s]
Yorubas in illorin can't seem to agree in any thing. Don't allow any zone to conquer you with religion. I don't know if it is the curse because to me it seems easy for the majority Yoruba in illorin to establish a king chasing out the fulanis. A village here in Delta have two Kings
You tried to sound intelligent but that line gave you out as a life illiterate.

FemiMaduka:
You are very misguided. You miss the point. The Emir can bear all the Yoruba names in the world and speak the most pristine form of Yoruba language, it does not change the fact that he [and his ancestors] is Fulani--they do not even deny it.

Ilorin, as it stands today, is a province of the Sokoto caliphate; a territory conquered and effectively administered [in the traditional sense] by the Fulanis.

Both Saraki and Tunde Idiagbon are also of Fulanis heritage. Ilorin is, indeed, a Yoruba town ruled by a blood-line of Fulani aristocracy. This has never even been in doubt. It is ridiculous to have people talk what you talk.

P.S.: leave the Igbos out of this, please.
Did I just read leave Igbos out of this when nobody invited you in the first placehuh

Yoruba Ilorin are their own problem. Until they see themselves first as yoruba before being muslims they will continue being enslaved by fulani.
Majority of them believe all what they are doing are islamic traditions, but unknown to them that they are fulani culture. Are you more islamic than your kinsmen in south west whos still hold on to yoruba culture?
Lol... You just said it well. If not for network, my own comment would have come before your own.

We said almost the same thing.
Politics › Re: Enough Of Fulani Domination In Ilorin – Kasumu, Afonja Union President-general by Tflex01: 3:22pm On Sep 08, 2019
What many people don't understand (except the Igbos that are just mischievous) is that, religion is playing a bigger role in Ilorin matter.

If the Yoruba Muslims in Ilorin are ready to change that title, they will.
