LordAdam16:
Says a native of a region that doesn't know what it means to have a sister region. SS and SE have the same political relationship as NW and NE.

In 2011, the NW and NE voted overwhelmingly for Buhari despite he lost to Jonathan. In 2015, the SS and SE voted overwhelmingly for GEJ despite he lost to GMB. So as long as we are talking about politics in Nigeria (excluding Biafra), what is good for the SS is good for the SE.

Buhari was one of the generals who orchestrated the killings of 1M Igbos in the 67' civil war. He came back in 2015 and re-enacted same with the IPOB massacre. [s]The SS can't hate him more than the SE, and the SS can't hate the SW more than the SE[/s] for the treachery of the SW of installing the same war criminal all for a mere pot of VP porridge.

-Lord
I know you must mention SS to gain relevance but SS are not the hateful type. I've lived in the South east and presently in the south south, there is a big difference. Your hate has nothing to do with 2015 elections.

So speak for your hateful region. cool

LordAdam16:
Oga, a Yoruba man was Buhari's VP candidate in 2011. Even Ribadu's VP candidate in 2011 was a Yoruba. Who won that election?

You clearly did not read my text. I'll summarize it for you.

Yorubas have two dominant blocks voting for the two dominant parties. Then a minority block that swings the vote to the more popular candidate.

That is why you guys are always on the winning side and your elite are as fluid as water when picking sides. So if you say Yorubas don't hate GEJ, and I say Yorubas hate GEJ, both of us are right. 3 out of 5 Yoruba people hate GEJ but it is a democracy. Majority carry the day.

2015 was the chance for Yoruba to side overwhelmingly with the other two Southern regions to deliver the dieing blow to the Northern hegemony and prove to them that we are all equal in Nigeria. But you guys scuttled it for a mere VP position. The same position the North gave you guys twice in 2011 and refused.

Now look at how many Southerners and Northern Christians have died for your mistakes since 2015. Agatu, Plateau, Nasarawa, Nimbo, Southern Kaduna. Even two preachers from the same church as the VP were butchered, one in the same capital city as him and in broad day light, with their killers roaming the streets as we speak. In the last 3 weeks, Fulani herdsmen have killed 5 policemen in my home state in the same locality that made it to the news. Tens of innocent farmers have been butchered. There are communities in my state where Fulani herdsmen tax farmers before they can farm on their farmland. Helicopters bring in supplies for the urchins. All of this with zero replies, no condemnation from the bigot and the so-called spineless Pastor VP because they are his people. A crisis happened in Ife and only Ife people were moved to ABJ, they are still there as we speak.

Would this foolish grazing land-grabbing bill had reared its head under GEJ and a united south calling the shots?

What exactly made 2015 the most important year in Nigerian history to go for a VP position, when all permutations already looked set for a NW/SW joint ticket in 2019 if Jonathan had his way? You guys already had your 8 uninterrupted years, so why the sudden eagerness to return to the top?

The obvious southern disunity in 2015 was a joy for the North because 2011 scared them shitl*ss. If 2015 had been a repeat of 2011, all this rubbish by Northern cabal would have been canned going forward. Now we are back where we started, and all of a sudden you want us to get together, barely two years after and with the consequences of your actions staring us right in the face, as one big happy family after telling us to our face to f*ck off. The audacity you guys have is insulting.

We are not interested. Whether you guys love or hate GEJ is irrelevant. Actions speak louder than words and we really don't care. Nothing will happen to GEJ in Nigeria and the SS will continue to hold the country to ransom without resistance. Southern Unity died in 2015, and the SW did the burial.

Did I quote you?

Was I talking to you?

I'm talking to my fellow PDP people, more than 35% of SW voted for GEJ. And they and their leaders are asking for a united south. And the message coming out of SS/SE is thanks for your votes, but the SW as a bloc is aligned with the North and the united south chant died in 2015.

Don't think we are crying more than the bereaved, the bereavement has not started. When it starts, you guys would be begging people to cry for you, because I'm sure the Ibadan press would not let our ears rest.

Face the North, nothing concern us and una.

-Lord

The golden truth is..., Igbos remain the problem of the South...

Last election was 55/45 in Yoruba land in an election that have a Yoruba man as vice (meaning 45% did not still vote for their own son but Jonathan/Sambo)

How is that suppose to be an issue??

Thank you for this comment. I'm not a fan of FFK but these things he said are very important to look into. Personally, I will advise the Yorubas on this forum to learn how to ignore the insults of the pained ipobs and concentrate on ourselves. The comments of that Fulani guy on this forum call for deliberation. We are not really wise.

It is about to go down!

Keep it up.

I'm seriously enjoying it. gberra vs FriendNG.

Let me spice up your fight:

Ekiti 120,331 (GMB) 176,466 (GEJ)
Lagos 792,460 (GMB) 632,327 (GEJ)
Ogun 308,290 (GMB) 207,950 (GEJ)
Ondo 299,889 (GMB) 251,368 (GEJ)
Osun 383,603 (GMB) 249,929 (GEJ)
Oyo 528,620 (GMB) 303,376 (GEJ)

GEJ only won Ekiti, but we can see how slim the margins are across the board.

The biggest scam of post-1999 democratic Nigeria is that the SW overwhelmingly supports anyone. It is a political fallacy where they have two dominant blocs for the two dominant parties and a third minority independent bloc of voters that swing the election to the most popular party.

This way they appear to always vote favorably for the winning side whereas they are actually facing whichever direction the wind blows.

Which is the foundation of their treachery. That is why it is so easy for their elite to cross-carpet sides, like Fayose trumpeting for the SW rally behind Tinubu and for FFK to trumpet for the SW to rally behind Osinbajo. In every other region, that is unheard of. Amaechi cannot tell Buhari to stop hounding Patience and Kwankwaso cannot tell Buhari to stop hounding Dasuki.

Gberra, we know your history and how you guys think. No one trusts you guys. It's all about marriage of convenience. The SS/SE does not wholeheartedly trust SW PDP and the North does not wholeheartedly trust SW APC. Good luck in this newfound tussle with the North, you guys would need it.

-Lord
Do you realise a Yoruba man was the Vice president in that election and GEJ still got that vote in Yoruba land?

Those figures you put up there are enough to convince the South South people that you always try to lump up together in your hatred that Yorubas do not hate Jonathan.

[s]From the beginning of one Nigeria, it evident the yorubas are okay to play second fidle in the Nigerian equation, but igbos have always set their target to dominate and command, perhaps, the hausa fulanis have always set their agenda to rule over all,.....so the yorubas should know that igbos do not envy them anything, rather Igbos are stunned at their cowardice in accepting to play second to those whom they are better than...

Its equally evident the yorubas are happy that at least they are second in Nigeria, but Igbos see that as shameful since yorubas are more qualified to be number 1....

The Igbo want out of one Nigerian since they can't play second to anybody, talk more of those whom they are better than...

Also, its shameful yorubas pride themselves of being second fidle and laugh at the igbos of losing out...but what can be more shameful than slaving yourself to make someone you are better than a king?

This is the reason Igbos call yorubas slave... Yorubas do the bidding of the Hausa Fulani (whom they are better than), for tthe Hausa Fulani to remember on top while yorubas remains second[/s]...

Lol. You may be right.

But I think we need to embrace them, be kind to them. To be factual, they were treated badly in the past. We still have not embraced them since the war. We just have to choose our words carefully so that we don't breed more hatred amongst ourselves. There is so much hatred already in place so we need love to conquer that betrayal feeling they have towards us.
I have been on this forum since 2009 (this account being my most recent moniker ) and I know what I'm talking about. Many of these guys that insult them today were once like you, including me. Even in real life, Igbos are dangerously hard to please.

And concerning your last statement, Yorubas did not betray the Igbos, reverse is the case. The history is there. The fact that their parents keep telling them this lie does not make it true.
