There are people here who are vast in the travel industry and can dig out fact from fiction, Nairaland is not a place to sell dubious intention cos' u never know who will expose ur intentions.

Reality should take place in your friend's head before she decides on what to do. If she has prospect of returning back after her return to Nigeria then let her go back immediately without mixing words. If not, she needs to shove some words down her husband's throat. She needs some real talk, First She need to take charge of the situation, as her husband is giving her deadline to get back she has to reverse the deadline to her husband. Get a confirmable Job and she will come back the next day, or spare addition 8months with no financial help from her so she can save up some money to start a business in Nigeria. No deal, no return! It is the best compromise she could wave in this time which is certainly a reasonable one. Otherwise the rest of her life and that of her kids might go down misery lane. The man should be thankful that he has a dedicated wife who is abroad and still quiver over his voice. Naomibaby, You made the word "CROSS" sounded as if its like crossing from Morocco to Spain, instead of you to speak for ur self and ur ability to procure visas, i wonder what ur friend is waiting for before he/she gets to Obamaland.
For your information, Syrians will pay $5000 to cross over to the USA if it were possible, and now that its Obamaland, that amount would double. All i m tryin to say is for you to update yourself with international affairs. Syria can be likened to Cuba of which having their visa on ur passport can cause a stir at the USA embassy anywhere in the world, and lead to multiple question and eventual denial. This is not meant to rubbish your post, i take it you were probably mislead by ur friend in syria. In Malaysia the only crossing that might still be available is via education with an America affilated institution. Thats if it hasnt been bastardized. I Know of 2friend here in Obamaland who cross to do their masters after their first degree with an american affilated institution based in Malaysia but this was 6yrs ago,
