#TheRealEndTime #PlasticPollution Onitsha may contribute immensely to the destruction of the Earth through plastic pollution. Water is one the basic elements that make the earth conducive for human existence. The earth is majority of water - 75% water, 25% land. All Rivers and their content (including plastic wastes) find their way into the ocean. Plastic is non-biodegradable (it doesn't decay) therefore remains within the ocean for years. Apart from the fact that fishes feed on the plastic and we in turn feed on the fishes - indirectly, you are eating plastic! - water cycle may bring back plastic in all forms of water you drink. Which other end time is greater than eating and drinking plastic? A recent survey says that most plastics in the earth's ocean comes from ten Rivers (our River Niger is #8!). On the River Niger, Onitsha is the most populated city and the amount of plastic disposed into the River is quite alarming. Plastic bags (waterproof/nylon) used in Onitsha in a day can be enough to cover the whole Nigeria! (Surprised?) The "waterproofs", "pure water" sachet, "takeaway" packs etc going into the River Niger from Onitsha contributes to the over 1 Billion tons of plastic that goes into the ocean every year. With the rate of plastic going into the ocean, in years to come fishes would die off and possibly, we wouldn't have any water on earth...consequently, the human race would be wiped off and our earth may cease to exist! #SaveTheEarth #OnitshaCity #CleanAnambra #OnitshaSocialMedia (Please share!) |

Onitsha urban metropolis has been duly recognized as one of the most populated and Built up urban (not necessarily "most developed" areas in the world. In a article published by DEMOGRAPHIA titled Demographia World Urban Areas (Built up Urban Areas of World Agglomerations) : 14th Annual Edition. http://www.demographia.com/db-worldua.pdf . As a rule of thumb, built up area can be calculated by adding 10% loading factor on carpet area. The Onitsha metropolitan urban areas include : > Onitsha Urban (Onitsha North and South LGAs) Fegge, Inland Town, Omagba, Akpaka ,GRA > Okpoko > Nkutaku/Ogbaru Metro > 3/3 Area > Obosi/ Awada / Ugwuagba / Odume Layout > Nkpor Area up to Ugwunwasike/ New Tarzan >Nsugbe Urban > Nkwelle Ezunnaka Urban > Ogidi Urban Population and Urbanization are usually key criteria investors put into consideration when studying a location for potential investments. Onitsha has evolved from a crime-ridden Market city to a more modern urban Economic centre in the country. Investors investing in diverse sectors in the city are now getting their ROI in record time. There have been recent influx of multinational companies, large scale industries, media houses (especially radio stations, increasing from just one station to over 16 commercial radio stations covering the metropolis in just 6 years), and other businesses. The state government in foresight mapped out industrial hubs in Onitsha with the major ones : Harbour Industrial Hub and Odume Industrial Layout with hundreds of industries abound. Onitsha is well known to be the economic nerve of South Eastern Nigeria and the second largest Trade and Commercial city sub sahara Africa after Lagos despite limitations ofminimal governmental presence in the city especially at the federal level. A functional cargo airport and river port will really do the city a whole lot of good in every sense of it. @porschethane @onitshametro #onitshasocialmedia |

I am doing this overview sampling for my research project. It just a simple question . This sampling is aimed at estimating when the modern teenager (1980 till date ) started earning money or even fending for himself or herself relative to locality. The simple question is , at what age did you start earning money ,and at what age did u start fending for yourself . Also, add your locality |
