Politics“why Buhari Must Resign Now” – PDP by Theajala72(op): 4:05pm On Jun 06, 2018
@NAIRATREND

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to quit the stage now.

According to the party, it’s evident that Buhari cannot hold the government and the country together.

The party was reacting to the Tuesday’s resolutions by the National Assembly, where they threatened to invoke their constitutional powers on the President if a number of constitutional infringements are not quickly addressed and stemmed. Prince Secondus said that there is no further confirmation to the fact that the President is presiding over a collapsed administration.

In a statement from his media office, signed by his media Adviser, Ike Abonyi, the PDP National leader said that the position of the parliament reflects clearly that of a cross section of Nigerians and should be respected.

“Evidence are abound globally that by parliamentary powers the resolution of the National Assembly means that the people have lost confidence in the President and he should quit.

“We in the opposition have been saying it interminably that this government has no direction and does not mean well for the country.

According to Prince Secondus, all lovers of democracy should queue behind the National Assembly at this critical time in our political challenge and put pressure on the President to leave the stage now and save our democracy and the country.

He said that this government has exhibited all traits of a failed administration and did not need to wait for the parliament to give it a quit notice.

“History is a witness that when a government is bereft of ideas and still wants to cling on to power, it resorts to use of brute force, intimidation and harassment of opponents, a quality we have seen very blatantly in this regime.

The PDP National Chairman asserted that a supposed civilian government that does not want institutions of democracy to strive should be called its exact name- dictatorship.

“The legislature and the Judiciary are the two main arms of any democratic government all over the World, but this administration has deliberately made the operations of the two very tasking in the last three years.

“How do you explain the assault on the nation’s Senate by an ostensibly Executive backed hoodlums who not only disrupted proceedings but abducted the mace the symbol of parliamentary authority, the framing up of the Senate President and some of his vocal colleagues in an armed robbery and other related criminal cases or the forceful infiltration of homes of Justices and Judges at the wee hours of the night with arms by operatives of a supposedly democratic administration.

The PDP boss urged the National Assembly to quickly invoke their powers on the President and avert further bruises to the nation’s democratic advancement.

There are a whole lot of them.

I have encountered similar situations. One notably was when I met a woman that had a little child begging. I asked her a lot of questions and what business she'll like to start.

She bluntly refused my offer, that begging is her own career. "Na my business be this", She said

That was when I knew that no matter what you do for some beggars, they'll never stop being beggars

Bobrisky is obviously just here to live his best life and annoy his critics.

Days ago, the popular crossdresser showed off a hint of cleavage in a rather revealing dress. Today, he's talking about having periods and changing pads.

He said this while celebrating a male friend whose birthday it is today. Bob shared a photo of the young man then in the caption he warned haters not to come for him (Bobrisky) because he's in the toilet changing his pad.

He wrote: "Still my Jason birthday. If I hear say I tag his handle huhhuh. Don't come for me I'm in the toilet changing my pad ?"

CrimePolice Arrest Syndicate Of Child Traffickers In Abia State by Theajala72(op): 10:42am On Jun 05, 2018
Abia State police command has arrested members of three suspected child traffickers, who are baby sellers, including 17-year-old Gift Daniel, who sold her two-day-old baby boy for N670, 000.

The Police Commissioner, Anthony Ogbizi also confirmed that the command arrested no fewer than 22 other suspected criminals, following raids by his men in the wake of renewed criminal acts in different parts of the state.

In an interview with newsmen, Daniel said that she was compelled to sell the baby due to financial difficulties. She said that her first baby, also a boy, was sold by her own mother after delivery, hence her resolve to personally sell the second baby.

“My mother sent me away from the house, when I became pregnant for the second baby and because of the financial difficulties, I started looking for somebody to help me.”

Daniel said that she was given N50,000 by the woman that brokered the transaction, 38-year-old Ngozi Nwaiwu, while the nurse, Kate Charles, who helped her during her delivery, got N30,000. Nwaiwu, who also confirmed the sale to newsmen, said she was trying to help Daniel, considering her plight.

Police also arrested 22-year-old Blessing Chukwu, who sold her three-week-old baby girl, along with the alleged buyer, 40-year-old Chinasa Okpara.Other alleged accomplices, Mrs Puphemia Omende and his husband, Kelechi, a medical practitioner, were also arrested.

Police alleged that the couple facilitated the transaction at their facility, Winnies Hospital, Okigwe, where the baby was born. Okpara said that she paid N360,000 for the baby and blamed her action on her 13-year-old fruitless marriage. Chukwu said she already had four children out of wedlock. She said that she was given N190,000, for the three-week old baby, blaming her action on financial challenges.

They were arrested at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, were the baby had reportedly been on admission for the past three weeks. The command also nabbed 23-year-old Rose Chukwu together with her relation, Joy Sunday, while allegedly attempting to kidnap a little boy at Uzuakoli in Bende Local Government Area.

With the right amount of energy. The Certified Street Ambassador "Small Doctor" covers the latest issue of vibe.ng magazine.

Temitope Adekunle popular known by his stage name "Small Doctor" talked about the story behind his stage name and his music, the reason why he adds his usual ad-lib "ain ain ain" to all his songs and expresses his joy for his success in music.

He further went on to talk about his thought on cyber-fraud (yahoo yahoo), saying that Nigerian youths get carried away by social media and that is why they venture into things like that, he talked about international acts he'll like to work with, and he corrected the notion of him being a Fuji artist, saying he can do any genre of music but his kind of music right now is "AKEWEJE POP". He also claims the genre is his intellectual property and is exclusive to just him.

SportsWorld Cup: Surprise As Ola Aina, Mikel Refuse To Be On Super Eagles Standby List by Theajala72(op): 9:39pm On Jun 04, 2018
The duo of Mikel Agu and Ola Aina have left the Super Eagles’ camp for their respective bases after they were dropped from Gernot Rohr’s final 23-man squad for the 2018 World Cup.

Rohr had given both players permission to stay and train with the team as standy players, but they turned down the option.

Mikel Agu has flown back to Turkey, where he spent last season on loan to Bursaspor from FC Porto.

Aina, who knew about his fate even before the team departed England, decided to stay behind in London, instead of following the Eagles to their training camp in Austria.

Rohr has, however, assured the duo about their future with the national team.
