Hi all,

For all who have requested "useful materials" on this forum, I sent the one I have to u guys. For those looking for GMATS 2007 or indeed any other year, I'm really sorry but I don't have a soft copy. Never have been a believer in GMATS anyway..

And I don't believe there's any possibility of the questions being word-for-word from the material, it's just to serve as a guide on the normal format these tests are gonna take so that u can channel ur preparations profitably instead of reading wide and not deeply.

Regrettably though, I have to stop attending to requests now people, I'm really running on a tight schedule at work plus I have to prepare for the test too so I might be taking a break from the thread for a while. I really wish as many as deserve it success in the tests..

True talk that. I'm sure ur solution'd be more convenient for "some" people. The only problem is "THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE SEEM TO PREFER THINGS THE WAY THEY ARE!" So if one's gonna weigh satisfying about 2-300 people against 5 or 6 who threaten to un-follow the thread because ppl are making requests do u think it's that much of a hard choice?

Really it's just too bad u feel the way you do about ppl making requests here and I wish there a way I could help make things better for all parties concerned but as they say "a man's food being another man's poison and all....

And how is their requests derailing the thread? Is it un-related to the current recruitment drive?
And point of correction: I'm not showing kindness; I'm trying to ensure that as many candidates as possible get equipped for success. It has nothing to do with kindness and everything to do with contributing to the development of people around me

Finally, I wonder how u gain popularity from an anonymous ID eh? Just yesterday I was @ an interview and a co-participant was asking for fellow Nairalanders and it was cos I'm kind of a private person I kept quiet so Presiade, it looks like you have the right of it if u've chosen to un-follow the thread cos it irritates you. I'm sure there are plenty other "First bank graduate trainee recruitment 2013" threads u can follow and still get updates.
Or better still u can create a new thread like u suggested and add "PLS NO SHARING OF MATERIALS!!!" so that silly people like us won't even bother to come there eh?

Such as a lady requesting for a date, i won some lottery, i got an international scholarship, international company offering me a job without interview requesting me to pay some amount etc. They are just too many. For those who loves themselves and dont want to be a victim of scammers, stop dropping ur e-mails for someone who wouldnt send u any materials. Go to the internet and download it urself. U can also pay a token to get dem online as the d case may be

That's why it's best to have an e-mail address dedicated for sites such as these, e-mail accounts are free! Primary e-mail accounts in which u receive sensitive information should never be used, that's a natural precaution that u failed to take.

@ All,
Please let's all learn from Seye's case. DOn't drop ur primary e-mail accounts here. In fact if ur Nairaland a/c is linked 2 ur Primary e-mail u might wanna junk that one and open a new one to protect ur anonymity. You cannot be too security conscious esp in this period of kidnappings....

However, u must also show some emparthy for the ever increasing derailing of job threads with request of test materials littering about the room. I believe with an objective view on the matter you may not entirely blame those agitators..
However as a discussion forum nairaland is, anybody has a right to seek for any help affordable..

My opinion: do ur best @ ur interviews, then focus on developing urself until the invite comes, for all their speculations last year some of them still had their resumption postponed so guessing and clearing ur calendar in the hope of a date of resumption may not be the wisest. Why not rather make short-term plans and engage in capacity development exercises till then...
