Hello TheCongo2,

It depends on the kind of work and if the person will be paid - I would recommend directing your question with all the specifics to the Embassy in Canada (http://canada.usembassy.gov/).

Regards,
Abuja NIV Team
Thank you very much

Hello VO,

If a Canadian Citizen is making a short trip (1 or 2 days) to the US for volunteer or charity work, will he need to get a work visa? If a visa is needed, can he get it at a port of entry?

Thanks

1. The company can allocate some fund for the purpose by any of these ways:
A, Paying an appropriate amount into your personal account;
B, Issuing you a cheque with the reasonable amount;
C, Permitting you to have access into an allocated company's account.
D, Issuing you a credit card or prepaid credit card.

2. It may be relevant to show evidence of personal earnings.

3. Every passport is issued in virgin state: anybody who fulfils the requirements does have a chance.
Hey Vicjustice, In the case where the person is issue a checque of credit card. Should the person carry a credit card statement to the embassy? Can someone show Traveller Cheques to the visa agent?

Hey Justwise, I was on a topic with this guy who was looking for a travel agent for Canada. I told him he didn't need a travel agent and I refer him to the Canadian immigration website. All of the sudden, the thread has disappeared. Did you delete or remove the topic by any chance?

that's cool. But you need to apply to play college soccer first.
He should apply to play college soccer where? In Canada? Are we talking about the same Canada? Anyway, can you please tell him that there is no soccer or athletic scholarship in Canada. He has to go in the States for that.

There are Nigerians in Libya, Syria, and Somalia. The presence or absence of Nigerians in a country is not a reflection of its prosperity. I'm not for or against any side of this argument, I'm only pointing to you that your correlation is wrong.
I am referring to individual opportunity which has nothing to do with a country prosperity.

Yes, you would find Nigerians in different part of the world but in many cases, they are there for the wrong reasons. Some Nigerians are stranded in countries like Lybia on their way to a different destination. You also have Nigerians who moved to other nations just because the average African believes that any country out of Africa has green pasture.

Now, when a Nigerian buys a plane ticket to an unstable African nation like the DR Congo, this type of Nigerian has a specific goal. For the most part, this type of Nigerian is prosperous.

YOU SEE ...I hope this supernatural hate for black people will stop one day .... the only way to eradicate this hate is to develop a black nation ( e.g. Nigeria ) to accommodate all different races . ..all of the non blacks do not understand us and have not experience living in a black nation hence this hateful mentality against black people
they used to be a lot of Malaysians in Nigeria ( when things were normal ) and we treated them very well ..they all left when we allow corrupt and evil government to reign over us . the hope of most black people to sojourn was Nigeria because of our capacity and economic aspiration ..but this hope has been shattered ..hence we- black people are in every country where we not loved but tolerated ...but u cannot blame the haters but ourselves in the sense we have refused to build a black nation out of ignorance and wickedness and greed
Do you mean that even those Malaysians who were illegals in Nigerians were also welcome?
