Well done TGCNL.
Kudos to Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu The idiot called Okezie Ikpeazu will still have to answer for his role in allowing Boko haram members dressed in police and Army uniform to shoot at peaceful protesters who where praying He cannot say he knows nothing about this killings that happened based on the order of the Islamic jihardist Mohammad Buhari Presently the whole former eastern region is under seige with Boko haram members of the Nigerian army positioned in different parts of the region by their lord and master Muhammad Buhari The earlier people know about this The better for them |

doncent12: I’m not quite sure we understand the indignity that our President is letting himself, and as a result, his office, to be put through.
Just so you will understand the disdain with which the Saudis are taking his visit, he was received on arrival in Riyadh by Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who happens to be the governor of Riyadh.
Imagine, say, Nicolás Maduro, decided to visit Nigeria, and we sent Muhammad Musa Bello to welcome him at the airport? Yes, that’s the implication, a junior member of the Saudi cabinet is who received our President. If you don’t find that to be a calculated insult, then you don’t hold the office of President, Federal Republic of Nigeria to any standard at all.
I’m also ashamed that FIVE of our state governors were at the airport to receive Buhari in Saudi Arabia! FIVE! Since when did these men, Amosun, Aregbesola, Masari, Shettima and Yari, become Saudi citizens or officials? Don’t they know their jobs? Osun has not paid staff since God talked to Moses, yet Rauf won’t attempt to figure out a solution to the problem, instead he is going to Saudi Arabia to do otimkpu for Buhari. What is wrong with us? Why are we cursed like this?
By the way, I lie, the governor of Riyadh is not even a cabinet member. So, his receiving Buhari is actually the equivalent of Rauf receiving Obama at the airport if Obama ever decides to insult himself with a visit here. Shame on us! You should not expect anything less Buhari is one of their black slaves He Is one of the Black slaves helping his masters in Saudi Arabia in their worldwide Islamic wahabi jihardi movement |

A people can only truely be patriotic to their blood line/ancestory/linage IT COMES NATURALLY! It is not force Without true patriotism you can not get true nationalism/nationhood And without true nationhood a people cannot truely develop! True nationhood puts your development as a people in your hands With your development in your hands as a people you can reach what ever height you set for yourselves No amount of forced unity can make you acheive this! |

Olabestonic001: That sounds logical but not always the case. Most Nigerians are economic migrant and tje y won't reside in their enclaves. Even amidst the Yoruba's that sticks together, hardly will anyone stay to raise his family in his immediate societies. Africans are evolving and we will get there soon. But, sincerely, both parties are just unnecessarily at each others throat because they give a damn about each other. With the current setup, the only "there" Africans will be evolving and getting to soon is their DOOM! The case of africans is that of a stuppid set of people who are not ready to help themselves They know what to do to save themselves But are not ready to do it Hence no one takes them seriously |
Politics › Re: Can Igbo And Yoruba People Ever Get Along? by theDEVILisHERE: 3:50pm On Feb 09, 2016 |
Olabestonic001: Well, maybe you're right in that. But, what's getting along if not tolerating each other Even in families, you still find out that all you siblings don't think alike, don't have same priorities and see same things. In all reality, we just compromise to stay and live as one. Your wife/hubby do not need to posses the same character as you but you find a way to go along because you want it to work. Relationships are built on trade-offs not on same character. You don't force yourself to live in a bad situation for no substantial reason when you have the option of a good situation Only fools do that (sorry to say many Africans/blacks fall under this) The option is there for you to live in your own space and enjoy peace and progress Why then choose to continue suffering and destroying yourself under bondage?? That just doesn't make any bit of sense! |

Flyoruboy: You Biafrans think you are more clever than others but end up the losers. Yoruba and Igbo destinies are not tied together so there's nothing like 'Forever Loyal' between us. Loyalty is conditional and I will not remain 'forever loyal' to one who wants to use my people and I as sacrificial lambs for his selfish ambition. Ewo orisha! Besides, Awo didn't make up his mind about what side to pick between the FG and the Biafrans until Biafrans tried to invade our lands. That right there demonstrated for all to see that Biafra's ambition was to invade and occupy Yorubaland. Only a bastard would remain loyal to one seeking to oppress and conquer his lands. You said that their destinies are not tied together Then why then are you guys expecting them to get along?? Everyone by now should be sorting themselves out in their different space Why then continue in imperialist slavery when you all can free yourself in order to achieve your different destiny?? |

Ojukwu deceived even his own people into thinking they had weapons to fight a war they weren't even prepared for, only to have them resort to cutlasses and machetes, and ended up dying in the millions for nothing since they still ended up losing the war. And you call us cowards and backstabbers for refusing to be a part of such folly? ? ? Well Mr. We really don't give a fvck. The sort of twisted logic exhibited in your post is one of the major reasons why the both set of people have no business being in the same space How do you expect the Igbos to get along with people that see white and call it black and still try to justify the reason they call it black when it glearing to all that it is white |

Olabestonic001: On Nairaland, maybe not yet but in real life, we get along. I'm going for my "iku aka" soon and she's gonna give me awesome kids. I think the youths just enjoy the "friendly" insults on each other though some emotion-centric folks takes it personal. At the end of the day, hate consumes the hater. They don't get along well in real life They are just tolerating each other because they are within the same space You can't get along well with people when your character, ideology and life view is way different |

kay29000: As a teenager growing up in the south west, my parents were very liberal and open minded, but I must confess that I had some older relatives that didn't like Ibo people. I always wondered why. My best friend at the time was Gozie from Okigie, and his parents always treated me well. I never had a course to dislike anyone because of his tribe. I went to a Federal Government secondary school, and had a variety of friends from the various tribes of our great nation Nigeria. I also attended a Federal Government University and had no problem with any tribes. I knew there was a civil war and it brought about bad blood between the Igbo and the Yoruba, but I believed that bad blood wouldn't be transferred to my own generation.
I went on for Youth Service in the East (Anambra), and dated an Igbo girl, whom is still my friend till today. Everything was all rosy till this last elections, and all of a sudden, I was shocked at the hate speeches and comments I was reading on social media everywhere between Igbo people and Yoruba people...of my generation. It shocked me. What caused this? None of us were alive during the war, so where did the hate come from? WHY!!? What went wrong? I don't understand. So, I ask...can Igbo and Yoruba people ever get along? Why must they get along in the first place? They have no business being within the same space with each other They are different people and should be in different places Nothing tangible joins them together Also How can you say "everything was all rosy till the last election" Are you living under a rock?? lastly Nigga area aka Nigeria is not and can never ever be great It signifies the stamp sealed slavery of all africans/blacks |

DailyPost: By Peter Duru
MAKURDI—No fewer than 10 persons were feared dead yesterday, in an outbreak of fresh hostilities between Fulani herdsmen and farmers at Tom-Anyiin and Tom-Ataan communities, Mbaya, Tombu in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State. This is just as the Council Chairman, Godwin Iorsue, the Divisional Police Officer at Buruku, the Area Commander and other stakeholders in the area, on assessment tour of the communities, were ambushed and attacked by the herdsmen who had seized the area and sacked the inhabitants.
Vanguard gathered that the renewed crisis has created a huge refugee situation in the area with over 300 people displaced from the affected communities and scores injured in the bloody clash. A source from one of the affected communities disclosed that the Fulani invaders stormed the communities late Saturday night, shooting sporadically and burning down houses, huts, food barn, farmland and economic trees. The source said: “As I speak with you, fighting is still raging in the affected communities. Although I cannot give you a precise figure of the dead, about 10 have been killed, many are missing and many others sustained injures.”
Meanwhile, the Council Chairman, Mr. Godwin Iorsue, who spoke on phone, said that he had invited senior security officers to accompany him in assessing the situation, when they were ambushed and attacked by the herdsmen. Iorsue said: “It was only God that saved us. They were over 30 and well armed while we had only four armed police officers with us. Our cars were perforated with bullets.” When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent Moses Yamu, who confirmed the attack on the Council Chairman and his entourage, said no live was lost. Yamu said: “The people ran away from their communities in fear of a possible attack by Fulani herdsmen, but there were neither killing nor destruction of property in the area. “I can confirm that the DPO, the Area Commander, the Caretaker Council Chairman and selected stakeholders were attacked by suspected herdsmen when they visited to assess the situation in the area.” At press time, Vanguard gathered that fighting in the two communities was still raging..
