My Analysis of the 3 candidates : 1.Tinubu offered Atiku the platform of his party to vie for Presidency twice against the advice of Tinubus kinsman, Obasanjo. (not to talk about his support for Ribadu and Buhari) 2. Obi was Atikus apprentice who left Atiku just months ago. 3. Tinubu is the most de - tribalised candidate among the three. Working for others since time immemorial. |
Kekeke.... Obi that couldn't turn Anambra to Lagos wants to turn Nigeria to China. I laugh in Swahili ..... |
Rubbish debate ! Only a blind man will not easily see the achievements of both of them, after all they were both 2 - time governors. I prefer concrete progress all can see to fabricated theories Besides, one is a LANDLORD to the other. |
Jomonix:Which abundance and plenty did he leave in Anambra. Someone Obiano exposed. Oh, yes so much abundance and plenty in Anambra that he left Anambra to come and live in Tinubus Lagos . Tinubu is his Landlord for Lagos ! Oga nah master ! |
Chiffy:So, Portharcourt will be your next stop. Maybe you will go there and insult Wike the way you are doing to Tinubu. Thank God Portharcourt people are reading this. |
Chiffy:According to you PO left legacies in Anambra so much so that he left there to come and live as Tinubus tenant in Lagos. Till tomorrow south easterners are still trooping to Lagos because of the opportunities created by Tinubu and his appointed successors. I won't be surprised even if you are typing from Lagos and yet despising it. Tribalism doesn't put food on anybody's table, ability does ! |
Chiffy:Is it by agility ? The president of America is 78 years old and has been under COVID attack for a month now but Americans are not bothered because they believed in his ABILITY rather than his agility. And talking about ability what did he achieve in Anambra for the 8 years he ruled ? Did Anambra become China or Egypt or Israel, that he likes to talk about or even Lagos where he lives. Charity they say begins at home. So, my brother, only ability can improve exchange rate and not agility ! |
Good. What goes round comes around . It was the same Atiku that led some PDP govs and Saraki out of PDP then to fractionalize the party and leading to Jonathan's defeat. He serially betrayed Obasanjo and then Jonathan. It's the turn of the south to deal with these Northern betrayers. Tambuwals own will come ! |
O ma se oo ! People are really stressing Obi and co. Now he will start thinking of how to go to Holland. The way he has been jumping up and down you will know he is unsure of himself. May we not labour in vain. |

Penguin2:The post is about age because many people were focused on the wrong criteria. I want a contest based on the ideas and achievements of the candidates as I believe those are the relevant criteria. I am not a party man. Buharis failure has nothing to do with age but everything to do with capacity. That's why I am focused on capacity. We should not be swayed by primordial and petty sentiments such as age, tribe, religion by politicians. We need a visionary leader ! |
Penguin2:Okay brother, you said we should go for capacity and agility. Good. So, list for me 5 enduring capacities of Obi when he was governor for 8 years. Am waiting ! And then bros you need education. So, the civil service rules sets a retirement age for govt employees and Judges but neither the constitution nor the electoral act set any apex age limit for politicians. What does that tell you? Besides, can you name one country in the world that sets max age limit for politicians. None ! That's what I learnt from my research I posted up there. Maybe you didnt read it. The reason politicians take us for granted in this country is that we are not critical thinkers. How can an educated person like yourself be scammed with age issues when exchange rate never responds to age. Exchange rate only responds to innovative and creative ideas and vision, and not age. |
Validated:Prove to me that age matters. What do you want in a President ? Is it the freshness of a young man that will bring down the rising inflation or solve the insecurity problem in the North or a visionary president ? Does rising prices of food listen to age or you can use it to buy garri at the market ? if it is by age then Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk ought to be the president of US. If it is by age Yahaya Bello would have done better than Dave Umahi. You know our problem in Nigeria - we are too tribalistic and petty. |
Penguin2:What I learnt from above is that age does not matter. That the most important attribute is track record and ideas. Remember the Bush family in US. The whole family were into politics and Americans didnt complain so long they performed. Even Bush senior and junior became US Presidents. |

I have wondered what really should be the yardstick for determining who to vote for as president. Should it be age, tribe, oratory, good looks, ideas, visionary, past record, or what exactly. Some of my friends have argued for age and I decided to do a little research about current and past presidents in other advanced countries and their ages. Does age always matter in developed countries or performance? What I discovered was illuminating. Note I left out Joe Biden of US( 78 years). Below is a summary of my findings and the link. Oldest Presidents in the World Most countries have age requirements for the higher political offices, especially president. This is because years of political or military service are often required/desired for the world’s leaders. Every single president on this list only gained their countries’ top office after spending years in various government and/or political roles. Many did not become president until much later in life, while others stepped into their roles fairly early in life and have held on to power for several decades. As of May 2022, this list is as accurate as possible and will be updated as needed. 8. colorsofrainbow:You no dey give shishi? Even if you give you don't have anything to offer. Your candidate does not have any achievement in Anambra to campaign with so you can keep labouring in vain. |
POs supporters are unserious ! They are given an opportunity to advertise their candidate and they are rejecting it. |
What's the difference.? What was he implying? Obis supporters are funny. Exactly what Femi said about them ! |
mycar:So, Tinubu did not produce doctors, engineers, architects, and so on. I Taya how you Obis supporters reason. See what Femi was talking about ! |
Why lie against Lagos? I think Sanwo Olu should revoke the Certificate of Occupancy of his house in Lagos where he lives. |
Serious candidate. The man with a plan ! |
PO distributed laptops and notepads to Sec. schools without employing any computer teacher Businessman deals called governance |
OkCornel:Do they make the same revenue. Fyi the budget of the whole Nigeria is equivalent to that of one state in US. But Lagos is still better than Anambra now. Even the elites in Abuja have relocated fully to Lagos for fear of banditry. Obi also ran to Lagos because of unknown gunmen and you say we shouldn't compare. Tinubus Lagos is still the reference point in Nigeria. |
Some people will not sleep tonight |
OkCornel:Oga, what you wrote will be meaningless without comparative analysis - side by side. That's how to rate candidates for elections. |
