The Aramaic language is still spoken by Syriac Catholic priests and it is used in their seminaries. Just like the Latin language, it can't go into extinction because it is a preserved language. Jewish Rabbis can also speak Aramaic because both the Jerusalem and Babylon Talmuds are written in both Hebrew and Aramaic. sulasa07: |
I'll believe it when it happens. |

And this sub intelligent comment, ladies and gentlemen, is why I have lost faith in the joke called Nigeria. Have a nice day folks. Young03: |

Lol, you're right. But both 3g and 4g will eventually become obsolete. Once the world moves on from these antiquated service platforms, Nigeria won't be far behind. hisgrace090: |
Aramaic is used in church services as a liturgical language, not as an everyday language of conversation. Most Chaldeans who remain in the Middle East and who have not migrated to Europe and North America can also speak Arabic. sulasa07: |
It is still used as a liturgical language for Church services in some of the Chaldean Churches in Syria and Lebanon sulasa07:

Can you imagine someone using an important issue like this to spew brainless nonsense about Herdsmen attacks being fake news. Herdsmen attacks which even the federal government has never denied. It simply shows how incredibly dumb the supporters of the dullard's regime are Bolustical: |
Most of the Old Testament part of the Bible is in Hebrew, while most of the New Testament is in Greek with a little of Aramaic. Greek was the language of the educated classes by the time the New Testament was written. sulasa07: |
When Evans was doing his own,did he not collect more than enough verbal tongulashings? The only reason people react more strongly to Fulani kidnapping is that 99% of the time it goes unpunished. Fuulanus are even busy capturing middle belt villages and renaming them as Fulani villages. They are the most dangerous criminals operating in Nigeria today. Meanwhile when it comes to the Bible nobody ever tells Muslims to go and read it in the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek in which it was written. true2god: |
Yes I have heard that line before. Apparently Arabic is the only language where the entire meaning of a sentence is completely reversed when you translate it into another language ![]() true2god: |
My kidnappers pray a lot, serve God and Juju –Siasia’s mum October 7, 2019 Mother of the former head coach of the Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, Mrs Beauty Siasia, talks about her ordeal in the hands of kidnappers who held her hostage for 77 days, in this interview with DANIELS IGONI Can you recall how you were kidnapped on July 15, 2019? I was in my house on that day when they came and abducted me. They took me to a strange place. I was sick at the time. I had high blood pressure. They took care of me. They bought some drugs for me. They cooked food and gave me some to eat. They didn’t beat me. There were some days when there was no food to eat. We drank garri on such days. Sometimes, they prepared eba and soup and we ate. But one day, they told me we had stayed too long and they were tired of our problem. They carried us in a boat and dropped us in a village. I don’t know the name of the village. They carried us to their chairman’s place. I don’t even know the man, but they called him Seiyefa. How do you feel now? I am not feeling fine. As I am talking to you, I am not well. Before they took me away, I was not well. I want to go to the hospital. Where did they keep you? I was kept in a small house that was roofed with tarpaulin. What kind of water were you given to drink? This is rainy season. They kept a rubber container, which they used to collect rain water. That was what they gave us to drink. Did they allow you to speak with any member of your family on the telephone? No, they didn’t. Who will give you a phone to speak with anybody? They didn’t allow me to speak with anyone on the phone. No, they didn’t. How would you describe the way you were kidnapped? I was sleeping when they broke down the door and entered my house. They were many. I didn’t count them, but I know they were many. They carried me from the house and put me in a boat. How many engines did the boat have? The boat had one engine. Was there electricity in the camp where they kept you? No, there was no electricity. They used torchlight. Can you guess the kidnappers’ ages? They are young men, old enough to be my grandsons. How did you return to your home? They brought me back. I had been with them for three months. I kept telling them to let me go. I think they were also tired of keeping us. So one day, around midnight, they put us in a boat and dropped me in a village. I don’t know the name of the village. Someone mentioned it, but I can’t remember now. They asked us to alight from the boat. Then they called my people and told them to pick me there. Why are you always being targeted by kidnappers? They told me that my son, Samson, had a lot of money. They said he was a very wealthy man, a millionaire. But they could not get Samson. Samson’s father is old. I am also an old woman, not a young woman. I did nothing wrong to those people. This is the second time they have kidnapped me. I have not done anyone any wrong. But I will not say anything. Only God knows everything. While you were in their custody, did you pray to God for help? I prayed very hard, but the kidnappers prayed more than I did. It seemed like they knew about God more than I did. But they served God and juju. We never gathered at anytime to pray together. They tied charms around their bodies and carried guns. Are you happy to be back home? What kind of happiness is that? Although I have regained my freedom and I am back home, I am not happy. I have suffered a lot in the kidnappers’ den. I don’t even know the people who kidnapped me. I am not happy at all. Are you praying they should not kidnap you again? When I was with them, I kept warning them to leave me alone because of my age. Henceforth, none of them should come near my house again. What did they mean by saying that my son had a lot of money? This is the second time I have been kidnapped in less than 10 years. I told them to warn other members of their gang not to dare come near me again. They made me to suffer a lot. If what I suffered is good in their eyes, they will also suffer the same fate. They should be arrested, thrown into jail and tortured. I don’t know them. https://punchng.com/my-kidnappers-pray-a-lot-serve-god-and-juju-siasias-mum/

You can't lose what you never owned.. Ebimor96: |
Where are the lies, profanity, abuse and crass ignorance? Every fact I have ever presented is from authentic sources. I don't patronise bloggers or peddlers of fake news. I also have copies of the complete Sahih Hadith collections, whether Sahih Al Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Al Tirmidhi Sirat Rasul Allah Al Tabari, Tafseers etc I guess my only sin is that I interpret islamic texts objectively instead of in the biased and intellectually dishonest way that people like you and other Muslim apologists do it. As for Leah Sharibu's parents and the parents of the Chibok girls, their decision not to live side by side with Muslims is more than just a simple desire to live wherever one wants to live. It's also an act of self preservation and survival. I am always amused when Muslims try to portray themselves as the biggest victims of islamic fundamentalism. It's like the father of a child who is a notorious cultist or criminal gang member trying to claim he is not responsible for any harm done to strangers by his child because he too has also suffered at the hands of that child. Such a lame, illogical and harebrained cop-out. But I wouldn't expect anything less from muslims. Rashduct4luv:By the truth do you mean lies, profanity, abuse, crass ignorance & arrogance?Everyone has the right to live wherever they want so far they can afford it and are able to... And what should those Muslims who also lost their kids/relatives to the BH menace do? |
It seems like the word "islamophobic" has become another name for the truth ![]() Tell me, will Leah Sharibu's parents or the parents of the Chibok girls be considered islamophobic for refusing to live next door to Muslims after what they have experienced? Rashduct4luv: |
