What a country....SMH Wisemen who refused to do anything suffers the rule of idiots -Word from Joy Nunieh Buhari should do something fast about this raging crisis at NDDC but it'll be a surprise he won't be shocked as usual. |
Some individuals want to prevent this woman from exposing hidden truths about NDDC gargantuan corruption. The essence of creating the ministry has been defeated by corruption. Masses from the Niger Delta have always been given the short end of the stick by their fraudulent leaders despite the purported billions invested on infrastructures in the region. |
tinsel:Guilty until proven innocent is the way EFCC mostly operates under Magu's media trials. So let him prove his innocence. |
Hmnn.....hope I am wrong but this dude is sounding like he's about to get a soft landing. Na sidon look remain for APC anticorruption fight.
|
AdeniyiA:If nothing comes out of it then it'll be better we forget about corruption fight in Nigeria. |
AdeniyiA:I hope the government isn't trying to distract Nigerians with the usual gra gra and later bungle the investigation cos nothing surprises with this administration. |
“Our client observes that rather being afforded copies of the allegations against him, some of these allegations are flying round on social media platforms with prejudicial consequences.Shebi he did same to others. Let him enjoy a taste of his own medicine. |
It should have been 28 days or more so as to gather enough evidence against the same way he did to others. The presidential panel should ensure justice is done and no soft landing nor sweeping Under the carpet. |
Can anyone blame him for that? He doesn't want his face on a billboard ![]() Obaseki gang are ready to use any available opportunity to nail him. It's a two can play the game series for Edo gubernatorial election. |
GreenSignet:Wetin concern U. U be monitoring spirit.? Seriously politics section of nairaland is the most active. It shows many are concerned about naija politics/governance. |
The speed I take rush enter dis thread ehn Some people just like giving others high blood pressure sha. Op oya bring ya yansh U deserve cane ![]() |
Racoon:There's high probability that those involved are still much around the corridors of power and may be the reason it wasn't investigated. |
tafabaloo:Why not respond to his allegations than politicizing his concerns about actions/issues he raised that are inimical to Yoruba interests. |
I hope the government wins this case and if established that it was a prearranged fraud then those involved should be prosecuted. |
longetivity:When there are too many captains in a ship there are bound to be problems that'll eventually sink it. Waiting to see what disciplinary measures will be taken against this move cos if I can remember correctly I think the president mentioned during the dissolution of NWC that there'll be consequences for such actions. |
Even with Magu palava this people still won't learn. Ok O I dey on-top of iroko tree dey watch whom dem cabals go pick next ![]() |
tafabaloo:I am not his mouthpiece nor do I know him personally to dish out advices but the issues raised in the statement aren't far from the truth for discerning followers of events in Yoruba land. And I believe you aren't more intelligent than those who recommended him for the position and neither are you as wise as iku baba yeye, the Alaafin of Oyo who made him Aare. I'll rather stand by a man who will stick by his people than betrayals. |
JAMO84:Why not do better justice to the issue at hand than bleating about PDP? The welfare of my people is important than political affiliations (I'm not a member of any party) but a firm believer that a restructured Nigeria will enhance the future well-being of Yoruba race. |
tafabaloo:What misadventure are you talking about? I've not read where he claimed to be interested in contesting elections. Gani Adams is Aare Ona kankanfo and you don't expect him to keep silent if certain actions aren't right and detrimental to Yorubas well-being. And it's unfortunate the way some of you guys made tin god's outta mere mortals who are politicians. And true Yoruba leaders are the in the mould of Awolowo not all these corrupt baba sope money- miss-road politicians without foresight aside selfish, greedy interests. |
tafabaloo:Is that all you can deduce from the statement? And you call him a boy cos he's not supporting Tinubu whom you initially called corrupt but later you edited that part out to accused him of being aberrant and supporter of Gej. SMH |
myboy2111:What's special in furthering a course of betraying your people cos of political expediency? |
“Tinubu had a hand in the breakup of all the socio cultural groups in Yorubaland, Afenifere, OPC, YCE, others. He whittled down the popularity of PRONACO. The OPC under Aare's leadership broke up into groups. He sponsored the renegades in Somolu, Ilorin, and Ibadan. Now those groups have gone under and they are of no relevance at the moment.Any Yoruba man or woman who's not in support of restructuring is a betrayal, not an omoluabi nor interested in the future well-being of Yorubas. Such individuals are just politicians whose sole interest is just power grab at the detriment of the Yoruba race. Like I've often opined, the only way out of the woods of underdevelopment, ethnic rat race for resources at the centre amongst regions, sabotage of the system is to RESTRUCTURE in a peaceful manner lest the country breaks up violently. There are no two ways about it, patchworks will never work than going around in circles of failures of governance. |
Maxymilliano:Anyone with gut to connive and steal a mace from the chamber of NASS in full glare of members/public can steal anything. I hope these criminal politicians won't attempt to kidnap oga at the top with the kind of politicking we've been witnessing lately. |
NDDC has become a very useless organisation to masses from the Niger Delta region. It's nothing but conduit for politicians, leaders and militants within the region. The essence of its creation has been defeated by corruption. Concerned Niger Deltans should rise and demand for accountability from that cesspool of corruption. |
Universities and research institutes abroad are all in a race to develop Covid-19 vaccines but there's silence regarding same in our country. Even alternative medicine practitioners don't seems to be enjoying government support cos politicians preferred waiting on foreign donors vaccines that's uncertain of when it'll be available nor its efficacy. Anyway I believe in my own vaccine cos that's the only sure one I know of and it's my immune system. I keep boosting it by eating right, fruits, herbal infusion teas couple with garlic, ginger, turmeric e.t.c and observing necessary hygiene, social distancing and use of facemasks. As it is our lives are in our hands not government. |
First responders including firefighters were yet to be seen at the incident scene as of the time of filing this report.Maybe Our firefighters are still trying to get water? Hope they respond before it's too late. Government keeps telling us they're investing in infrastructures but when it matters most you hardly see anything tangible on ground. |
Commendable decision. It's better than handing it out to crooked politicians. And it's a win win for the bankers committee/investors and Nigerians. |
What an idiotic comedian. Instead of reacting to her allegations of corruption he's talking about the woman nysc certificate as if he's the investigate security agency. Shameless political looters in high places parading themselves as leaders. |
Hofbrauhaus:You be EFCC? you don investigate? Ouch.....even EFCC oga way sef no pure ![]() Seriously, lots of cans of worms will be opened if FG seriously investigate and prosecute those involved in this matter. |
“The NFIU reports established that the Acting Chairman has been using different sources to siphon money from the EFCC, and in some cases collecting bribes from suspects.Na wa. If the head is rotten what can the body do? I'm beginning to believe corruption fight in naija is a lost cause. For legit hustlers, businessmen/women and others I pray we find success in our dealings but fraudsters, yahoo politicians and government officials will know no peace. |
emmy512:So you support corruption?....SMH Guys like you are part of the problems of naija. |
Not a bad idea cos that has been cases of EFCC and DSS arrests of persons of interests then searching for evidence afterwards. I said before that Magu's case go trend seriously and newspapers will cash out big time. Shebi he's found of media trials and the media will surely make a mincemeat of him. |
