. Am not his fan ooo
And I can never be.

We all have our choices to make.

However majority of naija politicians aren't intelligent enough to understand service to the people, love to country nor loyalty.

We have no business for being in our present mess but for the foolishness of these guys whose sole aim is selfish aggrandisement of material wealth and influence.

I don't know why some people are disturbing themselves about this man presidential ambition.
He may not even have the interest to run.

If he's an intelligent strategist as claimed by his supporters then not running for president but supporting a younger vibrant candidate will be his best decision.

The world is leaving us far behind due to continuous meddling of our political space by these greedy unintelligent old men.

You haven't decided but have been pulling the strings behind the scene for a long time.

Stop fooling yaself cos this country doesn't need corrupt old lots who have always been the reason for our underdevelopment.

He threw away those necessities in a quest to please his masters and ego.
Politics / Re: Ajimobi Lost Electorally Due To His Loyalty To Tinubu - Aregbesola by TheFreeOne: 11:20am On Jun 27, 2020
His death has been very devastating in its impact on me. Egbon was the only ally in the West to our cause and standing by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He was steadfast and unflinching in his commitment to core Yoruba values and the defence of our leadership.
This loyalty cost him a lot electorally and personally.

If a politician lost his electoral value amongst his people then it's a clear case there's a defect with the cause/brand (Tinubu) he aligned with.

A real omoluabi will always get the support of his people.

Anyway I wish his family strength to bear the loss.

I said it few days ago that there are people pulling the strings behind and using Edo election logiam as front for their 2023 permutations.

Tinubu alliance with his northern friends will be his undoing and I hope he's getting the memo now...SMH

APC is akin to a curse for our national well-being. Many believed PDP was bad but current administration made them look like an angel compared to APC whose reign has been of confusion, disorganisation, nepotism, insecurity and corruption.

Let's await what arises out of the ashes of their self inflicted fire fights. A new party probably.

There are no permanent friends or enemies in politics. It's all about interests.

But in our clime politicians ONLY care about themselves and that is the tragedy of naija democracy.

It's always a loss to the masses.

the moment a man realizes that of all his family members, his wife is not his relative, he will be at peace, the peace that comes from knowing, that his well being and happiness depends on no woman but on himself. RIP to the dead.

That's true for those with inner wisdom.

Unfortunately many believe all there is is their body, personality/image, fortune, family but there's more to our been here on this rock (earth) spinning in space.

But our real self is not the body but that which is at its core (spirit/soul) which yearns for spiritual consciousness.

Such decisions has never failed me.

Life is still beautiful despite the ups and downs, so *why keep dancing with ugly women / men*?

Let's learn to use our freewill cos it's within our choices.

“Have you ever heard Buhari say ‘thank you’ to anyone? Has he ever separated a fight?” Buba Galadima, an estranged political associate of President Buhari said in a 2019 interview with the Independent newspaper
When asked in the interview if he foresees an implosion in APC before 2023, Mr Galadima said, “I know for a fact that APC is divided into three factions. There is the Tinubu group, the El-Rufai group and the Aso Villa group. The Aso Villa group itself is also divided into three.
“So, it is in our interest that they continue to disagree and fight. That is our freedom. We have nothing to lose except our chains.”

The country is in wrong hands.... agents of division and confusion.

APC ....a party of confusion.

Waiting for Hillard Eta and Ajimobi factions to respond as usual whilst those pulling the strings continues with their permutations.

But for sure the crisis is beyond Obaseki reelection and APC won't be the same again cos 2023 is the big picture playing out now.

And I pity those who will be caught up in the crossfire cos it's gonna be money for money, thug for thug and blood for blood.

[b]“At this point, it will be odd if I fail to comment on the situation that led to the change of party by Governor Obaseki. While I have kept my cool and ignored all the verbal attacks directed at me by the suspended chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, I have always known that a day like this would come when his masquerade will dance naked in the market.

“The truth is always constant and no matter how far falsehood travels, the truth will catch up with it one day. Oshiomhole can fool people for a long time but he cannot fool the people all the time. What is happening to him now is a moment of truth. This same man who was garrulously proclaiming the end of the political career of some other people is now about to meet his Waterloo.

“He has continued to use his mouth to divide his party and I believe there is a lesson for all politicians to learn from the fate of the suspended APC chairman. No autocrat can successfully pretend to be a Democrat. The true character of a man will come out one day
”,

Very true.

I said it sometime back that Oshiomole's actions, utterances is no different from that of an undertaker.

And he's successfully delivering for his party APC.

Politics / Re: Now The North Bleeds ( Daily Trust ) by TheFreeOne: 3:35pm On Jun 17, 2020
A rueful Governor Aminu Bello Masari lamented this way “I am a very unhappy person because we have never had any moment of respite within the last five years that the leadership of this state can describe as comfortable.”

He who brings home ants infested firewood should expect the visit of lizards.

Northern leaders ignored needed education and development of their region for political gains and power grabs at the centre so they shouldn't feign surprise or shock why the north has become *Ground Zero of insecurity in Nigeria, playground for insurgents, kidnappers, cattle rustlers, bandits, armed robbers, epicentre of senseless killings*

And as the popular saying goes, as you laid your bed so shall you lie on it.

I pray concerned and educated youths in the north will rise to the occasion and effect needed change that'll sweep away those greedy, wicked and selfish leaders.

It's clear Nigeria is headed for an imminent implosion with all these needless conflicts that is already tearing its @ the seems.Democracy & military leaderships have failed this nation while the world have long left us behind.

The leadership are greedy, wicked and bereft of ideas to lead the country on the right path whilst the followership are docile, weak to demand for true governance or revolution.

We are on a path that leads to nowhere than a precipice and we either stem it via restructuring or allow events take its course of disintegration.

Only short-sighted individuals and simpletons keeps fanning embers of tribalism. The future of the country has been mortgaged by current political players and a hard decision of restructuring is our only way out not ethnic agendas.

That is the ONLY solution that'll save the country from eventual disintegration.

I'm surprised that OP seems surprised.

Terrorists, bandits, Fulani militias or whatever name you wish to call them aren't strangers to northerners and their leaders cos they are brothers and sisters.

It's only when these bloody vermins 'hits home' that their people start disturbing our poli-space to condemn their attrocities.

And I still maintain that northern leaders are majorly the problem of the north. How do one justify these leaders having negotiations with bandits and terrorists? Does it make sense?
