You need to see their pictures on Facebook to confirm the big life they can afford.


You just need to be determined, in a space of 6 months , you should be able to recover all you sold in Nigeria.

Is that the best advise you have for your country men? run to another man's country, as full grown man, to go and change the diapers of older men or women? What happened to purpose in life? Why is it that all we can think about and what drives our decisions is food to put in our mouth?

Hello Guys

I've been very much occupied with several tasks so I haven't been able to write here for a while.

Well I'm back

It's well up to three weeks since I've abstained from Crack. I must say in this Short while, my life is changing greatly though at a steady slow pace. Here are a few things about my behavioral changes since I quit crack cocaine.

- I'm now meeting up with my work responsibilities.
- I'm now neater and more hygienic. I make sure the few clothes I have I keep them all fully neat and tidied at all times. My environment, my room, my kitchen everything always well arranged at neat. These are things I cared less about and left unkept while I was taking crack.
- I am now focused on living a better life. Starting to have savings even though I'm not yet earning much.
- Decreased independence on people.
- I can now spend more time on myself sitting alone in my room or an isolated place. Before I was always moved to keep moving around.
- I have developed interest in returning back to my educational pursuits though I haven't started.
- My mental health is greatly improved. I no longer forget so much and I can now make vital decisions correctly.
- Couldn't stay in a relationship previous and all my friends deserted me. Only family had my back.
- Working hard to pay off my debt and improve myself. No longer focused on working to buy more crack cocaine to smoke.


The urge still comes in from to time but I do my possible best to get it off my mind. I can watch a movie, go out to chat with friends, take sleep meds or eat when I get the urge.

I'll write more on the challenges I faced in my past days of crack addiction later.
I have to attend to my work.

Try meditation. A lot of our addictions, regardless of the kind, are because we are not at home with ourselves, and are seeking stimulations to escape. Meditation, done overtime, will teach us to be centered, get rid of a restless mind, and become at home with ourselves.

My 3 year old daughter, she would be 4 years old in Feb, is sharp and very bright.
It only happened occasionally that she would pee on herself. Usually when engrossed in cartoon.

However, it the last 4 weeks, it has become an everyday occurrence.
She would even poo on herself!

I've talked to her, yet no serious change.
I just had a baby boy few weeks ago. Could this be responsible for the change in my daughter? If yes, how best can it be handled? It's already affecting her in school.

There is nothing so strange about what is happening to your daughter. it might just be a way that she is dealing with her still-forming
emotions. My Son started the same thing when he was about the same age. And he stopped within a few weeks.

Like you said (even though it may not make sense to some people here) . it may be related to your newborn, She is processing the reality of the fact that she is no longer the center of attraction. Be patient with her. Trying to have a serious adult conversation with her about it, may be counter productive. If a three year old is peeing is school, it is a only a problem if the school and parents make it so. Let them be kids, at least until 5. God knows what you were doing at 3. All the best.

That is why the scripture says "we do not mourn as those without hope" (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) not that "we" do not mourn. Even Jesus wept, with other mourners at Lazarus' grave. (John 11:35)

Being Christian does not make us immune from feelings of loss, only that we should not lose hope.

When I think about death, it makes me feel sad and heartbroken.

The only reason you feel sad about losing a loved ones or loved ones losing you, is because you people shared love. You cant have loss without love, we have to learn to embrace the bitter with the sweet. The best thing you can do for you and your loved ones is to live each moment with gratitude, joy, and hope. There is nothing gained from living in anxiety about something we have no control over. Who knows whats on the other side? One thing I know is that love never dies. Enjoy it as it lasts and while it lasts.
