Santa2:@Santa2, thank you for this post. Just want to clarify something please. My own collection date on the slip is the first week of May and I am in the process of traveling in the last week of April, 1. Please is it exactly the date on the slip that one will receive it on the post or one can receive it before then 2. Like you have said can I go there if is nearing my travel date to go and check if I can receive the passport 3. If I want to go what are the things I need to take along with me and how will I be able to get inside of the embassy from the man that is always outside and what can I tell him to let me in. Please your help will really be appreciated. I am in a dilemma and I urgently need your assistance. Thank you. |
Lolli2pop:Ah please what did the person says that happens when they visited for passport follow up. Ah I am just hearing this for the first time please enlighten me please. Besides when is your current passport expiring? Also I noticed that they place a sticker number at the back of my current passport, I don’t know if it is a tracking number with Royal Mail. Do you have it as well on your current passport? Please I will need your assistance? Please help a needy guy please o |
Lolli2pop:I will advice you to go there on Monday and make sure you get there early enough to see them. Take your confirmation slip with you with a copy of your previous booking appointment slip and beg the man outside to let you in so that you can sort it out. In fact when I went for my biometric in the first week of this month, someone that I met told me that his friend that did his own in February got it in 2 weeks and I will just advice you to go there. Please go there and let me have an update. I will be planning to go there as well at the end of this month of I didn’t receive mine. I am very sure your passport is ready just that they delay it, probably because the current one hasn’t expired yet. Please when will the current one expiring? |
Lolli2pop:Also @Lilli2pop, please when is your final collection date as shown in your confirmation slip that was printed to you after your biometrics. Mine is due in May but I need my passport before then. Thanks |
Lolli2pop:Hi, i don’t have any plan yet on this o, that’s why I am asking as well but if you try and manage to get around this, please kindly let me know as soon as possible by dropping your hint here so that I can know. Please I am begging o and I will surely be grateful. Many thanks. |
hayesconcept:I need it for urgent travel. I thought they said is within 3 weeks. Although the print out say by May but is this so that it will be exactly May before I can get it. Oh no this worrisome. I need help please. |
hayesconcept:Ah, please is it has to be May or they will send it before then. Please I am deeply depressed. Is it has to be the exact collection date or before. Please I am begging I need a help please. 😕 |
Dear All, Has anyone recently renew their Nigerian Passport and already done their biometric at the Nigerian High Commission London this March 2023 and received his/her passport in this month. I did mine this month and still awaiting their delivery. Please help a brother o. Thank you all. |
Baba19:Put your mind at rest, your visa can’t be refused because of this. The question they are asking is that “Have you been refused visa in the last 10 years”. In your case, your visa was refused more than 10 years ago and the answer is “NO”. When I did my own application as well, they ask me the same question and I answered “NO” and I got my visa. You can click on my username for more info. In fact my own visa was refused in 2009, which was more than 10 years. The only part of the application question that can be a problem for you is where they asked the question that “ For either UK or any other country have you ever been refused visa”, in this case you have to list the UK visa including the past 15 years visa you had been refused by the UK visa agency. Note: in this part of the question if you forgot to list other country visa refusal except that of UK, you still don’t have to worry, I have seen a lot of people that doesn’t list other country refusals under this question and they were granted. BUT IT IS A MOST TO LIST UK REFUSALS UNDER THIS QUESTION OR ELSE IT IS A BAN. Good luck |
RennyKitty:No I didn’t verify my credentials. You can click on my username for my brief immigration history. I was once given a student visa to study a degree in 2009 and overstayer. In short, I used my U.K. degree to meet my English requirements and I also used my IELTS certificate as well. Goodluck to you!, it will surely end in praises IJN. |
@Bourne007, THANK YOU IN FORUM, YOU ARE A SOURCE OF BLESSINGS TO US, I AM REALLY GRATEFUL TO YOU SIR/MA. PRAISE GOD HALLELUJAH!!! GOD ALMIGHTY HAS DONE WHAT PEOPLE HAVE SAID IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! If anyone doesn’t remember me, I will introduce myself briefly and will encourage some1 to click on my profile name to read a lot about me. Some weeks ago, I was the person that was asking a question on behalf on my friend that I said he travel to UK and become overstayer for at least 4 years, did Judicial Review-one was successful while the other was unsuccessful and out of the unsuccessful Judicial Review, Home Office certify one decision as “clearly unfounded claim” but now God has done it for me. In order words, I was the one that was disguising as my friend-you can click on my username and see more about me. In short, with my overstayer in the UK for 4years and certified decision and JR, I put in my application for an entry clearance as a Tier 2 worker migrant (skilled worker/health and care worker) on the 8th of December 2021. The timeline are as follows: Tier 2 (Health and Care Worker Visa) application submitted on the 8/11/21 Biometrics done on the 16/11/21 Application transferred & received by DMC on the 16/11/21 Application transferred to VAC 29/11/21 Application received by VAC 3/11/21 Passport with 3 years visa received by me on the 3/11/21. In fact I didn’t wait for the collection mail before I went there today. I arrived at 2pm, check in and received my passport with my visa NOTE: All I will advised to people in my shoes that are U.K. overstayer with an entry ban is to return home in time, give home office about 3-5 years before you make an entry clearance application and be truthful in your application and please do not lie. Lying is not good and gather all your material evidence in order. NOTE 2: A bit of warning to those that do mock people in this forum regarding their status, I will continue to say they are not God and they cannot know what God have for you. I can remember one person in this particular forum that mock me and say a lot of things about my UK immigration history but I told the person he/she is not my God and finally the God that I served have done it for me today and by special grace of God I will be among those that will be in the UK. God once again I thank you, you are so good to me and my family. NOTE 3: A big appreciation to @ Bourne007, he/she is a wonderful and great person to me. He/she even asked me to obtain my SAR (subject access request) immigration history from the UKVI, which I did but till today I didn’t receive it till I applied for my visa application and received my passport today. I pray that as you meet my need my God almighty will also continue to meet your need and that of your family IJN. I am really grateful personally to you ma/sir. Thank you all!!! UK here I come IJN, no weapon against me shall prosper IJN (Amen). |

Tutu82:Well thank you as well for your advice and I really thank the precious person that respond to me, the person really gave us an insight. Anyways, I just want everybody to note that we are not God and we can decide for him. It’s God that do things as he pleases. Besides, human right claim can be refused and certified for any reason. Please read my statement properly, the same human right claim that was certified was quashed by the upper tribunal for reconsideration. It was the same evidence that my friend put in his application that was reconsidered again based on the decision of the upper tribunal and refused through a new decision. Yes, in my own view he has a good case so that that it was refused based on the same evidence that the Home Office accept initially was wrong. Secondly a good step on his own sides is that he left voluntarily after the last JR was concluded. Besides, no body is God and his case is not that bad for God to handle. For me he still have a chance besides, he had served his 12 months ban. Thank you and hope you have a great day. |
Bourne007:Thank you @ Bourne007, I am glad you said my friend have a realistic chance of success. Yes the application he made when he has section 3c doesn’t help his case, that is why he withdrew the section 3c. Besides at that time a lot of rules where changed, where the courts were not allowed to look into my friend article 8 case if he hadn’t place this article 8 before the Home Office for consideration. That’s why he have to withdraw the 3c application and put a fresh human right claim. All the same, during the process of Judicial Review after it was successful and a new decision was made by the Home Office, a removal direction was set against my friend, though not served on him, it was when he challenged the new decision, was when he realized that a removal direction was set against him BUT THE REMOVAL DIRECTION WAS DEFERRED BY THE HOME OFFICE themselves, when they realized he was challenging the new decision and it was never issued to him till he left the UK voluntarily. The deferred removal direction was sent to his legal representative, which forwarded it to him. He has the copy to present. Thirdly, when he was going out of UK, he was never given a voluntarily departure letter. In fact at the airport they just check his passport by the immigration officer and allow him to go freely. No document was given to my friend and no stamp given on the passport but there a an electronic record with them in which the immigration officer used to allow my friend to go. In addition, my friend have his return ticket to proof his case that he returned and a stamp on the Nigerian passport he used to return back to Nigeria, which was stamped by the Nigeria Immigration Services. All the same thank you for this. Really grateful. |
Good day All, Please I am asking this information on behalf of my friend. My friend enters the UK in 2009 and stay there legally till 2014 (4 years legal stay). On the 17th January 2014, he withdrawn his appeal to the First-tier tribunal in UK and put a first application for leave to remain on the same day-17th January 2014. The application made on the 17/01/2014 on human right grounds FLR (FP) end him with no leave to remain and he challenged this by a way of Judicial Review to the UK court of appeal. The UK court of appeal orders my friend to submit a new application to enable the home office to consider his case properly. The second FLR(FP) application was made in February 2016, this was still when my friend have no leave and as ordered by the Court of Appeal. The second application made in February 2016 FLR(FP)-human right application was refused again and certified as unfounded. This 2nd application was challenged again by my friend by a way of Judicial Review to the Upper Tribunal and won. The Home Office agreed to the withdraw the decision and pay the applicant cost of Judicial Review, which was sealed by the Upper Tribunal. The Home Office reconsider the decision against and issued a new refusal with certification of the human right claim, which again my friend challenged by a way of Judicial Review to the upper tribunal but this time finally lost the JR. Note: All these JR till the last one lasted my friend 4 years without leave to remain in the UK. It was when the final JR was refused by the Upper Tribunal after reconsideration was when my friend left the UK VOLUNTARILY ON HIS OWN EXPENSES AND RETURN BACK TO NIGERIA. This was 2 week after the last JR. Now, my friend is in Nigeria and living in Nigeria for more than 3 years now and he is about to apply for a Skilled Worker Visa. Please what are his chance of success based on his immigration history coupled with the fact that he overstay when he have no leave, undergoing Judicial Review and in the process a decision was withdrawn and later new decision was removed. My friend is thinking of explaining all his situation in a cover letter before he applied but he is seeking the audience input on his situation before he applied. Thank you all and your input will be highly appreciated. Please assist a friend. |

Hello All, I am in the process of filling my visa application and I need your guidance Sir’s. Please, in my application section on travel history, the UKVI asked the following questions: 1. Have I ever travel to the UK or outside my country of residence in the past 10 years Please sir’s, I travel to the UK on a student visa in September 2009 and I stay there for 8 years till I return in 2018. So by my calculations is more than 10 years now I travel based on my assumptions. Do I have to fill this travel history as part of the last 10 years the UKVI is asking about. 2. Have you been issued a U.K. visa in the last 10 years. I was only issued a U.K. in September 2009, which I used to travel to the U.K. and by my assumptions, it is over 10 years now. Do I have to fill all these as part of the 10 years question that the UKVI is asking. Thank you all and all your support will be appreciated. |
