take dat: A trivial way to respond, and a response lacking in substance. Is Okupe no longer a media aide to the president? The reply he gave when asked the same question suggests that the president has an agenda, and that he is ready to quash and crush anyone that proves a stumbling block? While trying to demonstrate your arrogance and know-all attitude, clarify what Okupe meant by "achieving set goals and collateral damages". What you have said is what is called beautiful nonsense! A bogus claim at best. Dangerous, biased and open ended assertions at worst! every human being has an agenda, including you posting on this thread. It isnt in your forte to read minds and extract their agendas except you are a mutant! Please stay on facts, not conjectures, rumours and insinuations! Thank you! 2 Likes |

Mylove55: Pls Let stop abusing ourself, and let us reach d truth of d matter, let me add to d truth given b4,which are soku oil well,NGF case of sw fund, excess crude acc,Nyako vs tukur, then finally,d rumour of amaechi as v.p to north. Ok, let me for the purpose of debate, indulge you guys. You mentioned 1. Soku oil well: How did that make GEJ to go after Amaechi? Infact, GEJ stepped in and made peace amongst all the parties and Bayelsa had to make peace with Rivers 2. NGF: How is that a personal issue between GEJ and Amaechi? Are you saying that PDP as a party should not be interested in who emerges as the leader and how that person's position affects their party's progress nationally? How daft will they be if they didnt get involed? Very daft, I think. Are you saying that if ACN was the party at the center, they wouldnt be interested in who emerges as the NGF chairman? Common governorship and chairmanship candidates are settled in Bourdillon not to talk of NGF chairman. Any sane party would always be interested in all the politically positions and their representation there. Which political party will want an NGF chairman who will not be loyal to their party? And since they have the majority, why will they not want to influence it? funny assertions from some of you. 3. Excess crude account, SWF: Is rivers state not a major beneficiary of those funds with massive projects like the east west road going on? How can that cause GEJ to go after Amaechi? Most of you have forgotten that it was these same NGF that opposed the increase in minimum wage when the FG raised it to N 18, 000. It was the follow up meetings and logjams that led to the proposal to remove subsidy, a proposal which was muted and championed by the governors themselves until the actual removal when all of them except Oshiomole, chickened out and put all the burden on GEJ. Including all the opposition governors who hypocritically pretended like they were against it! How is that the "reason" GEJ is after Amaechi? 4. Amaechi as VP: This one is funny because if this is the case, then it is Amaechi that is the aggressor not GEJ. This is 2013, 2 years from 2015. So why will Amaechi be campaigning for VP to anyone in 2013. Even if he has that ambition, as a governor seeking to fufill his promise to his people and as the NGF chairman who should also protect his party's interest in the NGF, because he emerged the chairman because of his party majority, why will he be campaigning in 2013 for the 2015 election? How is that in the interest of his party. can he not do his underground work and prepare ill when the real politics starts? And to think that he was seen, according to some of the reports out there, having meetings with opposition people, how should his party react? Keep silent and watch? Would ACN or APC do that as a party? Will they watch a Fashola or Fayemi frolicking with Akpabio and Chime and Kwakwanso and be relaxed and not ask questions or take action if necessary? I am really struggling here to see how you guys got this GEJ is after Amaechi story in the first place. The only aggressor from day one has been Amaechi, not GEJ. Still waiting 9 Likes |

take dat: It bothers me that you cannot find a clear proof that GEJ is after Amaechi but have to try and squeeze out something from "in between the lines" of an okupe interview to push your point. Your extractions prove nothing. 3 Likes |

I think its high time we Nigerians are told the reason Jonathan is fighting Amaechi to this childish level. Even if Amaechi is contesting for President or VP, it does not justify any of these shameful acts by a President. Tufiakwa! You guys keep your rubbish propaganda coming! Nonsense and childish stuff! COOLDUN: This is an open invitation for a military to take over the government in Nigeria soon, ask your history teacher what happened before, and on the January 15 1966. This present democracy is a stage managed show by the military in Nigeria, i am very sorry that the ignorant politicians are foolishly dancing to the tone of death. You are just posting idle stuff! Amaechi is too small to bring the military back. He is just one man and rivers is just one state. If the military didnt come back after all the carnage in the north in the last 2 years, is it rivers state wrestling match that will bring them back? Stop making idle talk. Amaechi is very dispensable. 6 Likes |

I told ya'll yesterday, this is south south. Things happen differently here. The ignorance of some makes them keep saying GEJ is involved. The truth is, if GEJ is involved, it would have stopped already. GEJ is too gentle for all this. But the real folks involved are crocodiles and wild boas, if you know what I mean! I shake my head for Amaechi. He has opened a big pot of shyte! He is taken Rivers back to 1997! God help us all! 3 Likes |

But what irks me to my bone is that these so called opposition are a bunch of freaking hypocrites with zero love for Nigeria! Absolutely no love or patriotism for Nigeria. they are just seeking to grab power and enslave the rest of us. The day I see real opposition, I will know and will support them 7 Likes |

Let me remind you that he's only there to borrow some more money to be embezzled and used for the process of rigging himself back in! When Fashola went to borrow, what did he borrow for?
