take dat: A trivial way to respond, and a response lacking in substance. Is Okupe no longer a media aide to the president? The reply he gave when asked the same question suggests that the president has an agenda, and that he is ready to quash and crush anyone that proves a stumbling block? While trying to demonstrate your arrogance and know-all attitude, clarify what Okupe meant by "achieving set goals and collateral damages".What you have said is what is called beautiful nonsense! A bogus claim at best. Dangerous, biased and open ended assertions at worst! every human being has an agenda, including you posting on this thread. It isnt in your forte to read minds and extract their agendas except you are a mutant! Please stay on facts, not conjectures, rumours and insinuations! Thank you! |
Mylove55: Pls Let stop abusing ourself, and let us reach d truth of d matter, let me add to d truth given b4,which are soku oil well,NGF case of sw fund, excess crude acc,Nyako vs tukur, then finally,d rumour of amaechi as v.p to north.Ok, let me for the purpose of debate, indulge you guys. You mentioned 1. Soku oil well: How did that make GEJ to go after Amaechi? Infact, GEJ stepped in and made peace amongst all the parties and Bayelsa had to make peace with Rivers 2. NGF: How is that a personal issue between GEJ and Amaechi? Are you saying that PDP as a party should not be interested in who emerges as the leader and how that person's position affects their party's progress nationally? How daft will they be if they didnt get involed? Very daft, I think. Are you saying that if ACN was the party at the center, they wouldnt be interested in who emerges as the NGF chairman? Common governorship and chairmanship candidates are settled in Bourdillon not to talk of NGF chairman. Any sane party would always be interested in all the politically positions and their representation there. Which political party will want an NGF chairman who will not be loyal to their party? And since they have the majority, why will they not want to influence it? funny assertions from some of you. 3. Excess crude account, SWF: Is rivers state not a major beneficiary of those funds with massive projects like the east west road going on? How can that cause GEJ to go after Amaechi? Most of you have forgotten that it was these same NGF that opposed the increase in minimum wage when the FG raised it to N 18, 000. It was the follow up meetings and logjams that led to the proposal to remove subsidy, a proposal which was muted and championed by the governors themselves until the actual removal when all of them except Oshiomole, chickened out and put all the burden on GEJ. Including all the opposition governors who hypocritically pretended like they were against it! How is that the "reason" GEJ is after Amaechi? 4. Amaechi as VP: This one is funny because if this is the case, then it is Amaechi that is the aggressor not GEJ. This is 2013, 2 years from 2015. So why will Amaechi be campaigning for VP to anyone in 2013. Even if he has that ambition, as a governor seeking to fufill his promise to his people and as the NGF chairman who should also protect his party's interest in the NGF, because he emerged the chairman because of his party majority, why will he be campaigning in 2013 for the 2015 election? How is that in the interest of his party. can he not do his underground work and prepare ill when the real politics starts? And to think that he was seen, according to some of the reports out there, having meetings with opposition people, how should his party react? Keep silent and watch? Would ACN or APC do that as a party? Will they watch a Fashola or Fayemi frolicking with Akpabio and Chime and Kwakwanso and be relaxed and not ask questions or take action if necessary? I am really struggling here to see how you guys got this GEJ is after Amaechi story in the first place. The only aggressor from day one has been Amaechi, not GEJ. Still waiting |
take dat: "Why does the president percieve Amaechi to be aIt bothers me that you cannot find a clear proof that GEJ is after Amaechi but have to try and squeeze out something from "in between the lines" of an okupe interview to push your point. Your extractions prove nothing. |
funnyx: You've exposed yourself as a liar otherwise provide proofs of the lies I regularly spew, if you fail to provide this then you're nothing but a shameless liar.Go and read your book joor. This thread is for serious political debate. Please join the tonto dike thread elsewhere. you will not succeed in derailing the thread, sorry. Ciao! |
Abagworo: http://www.onlinegist.com/2012/08/obasanjo-finally-dumps-jonathan-backs.html?m=1So where is all those your articles did GEJ say a word or made a single reaction? I really love this thread. Lets get it on!!! |
Yes, and the coward is afraid, hence he unleashed the federal might on him
You people will never stop with your despicable propaganda! How di GEJ unleash the federal might on Amaechi? Do you even know the meaning of the words you are typing? Pleas can you state one example of how he unleashed the federal might on Amaechi or forever hold your peace? |
I cannot see anywhere in this script where it will end well for Amaechi! I stand to be proven wrong! ![]() |
I think its high time we Nigerians are told the reason Jonathan is fighting Amaechi to this childish level. Even if Amaechi is contesting for President or VP, it does not justify any of these shameful acts by a President. Tufiakwa! You guys keep your rubbish propaganda coming! Nonsense and childish stuff! You think this is 1966? You foolish kids keep ranting like motor park touts at agege bustop! Yeye jokers! |
Garri the 1st: GEJ is a disgrace to the office of the presidency. His greed for power will see him destroy the Nation and spill the blood of Nigerians. You are nothing but an idiota! Always looking for excuse to insult the president because of your tribalism and bigotted ways! Shame on you! |
egift: After this meeting, 5 days later - Rivers State is becoming a war zone. All hail the silent Militant. At least it is clear you are now scavenging for excuses to insult GEJ. What will your next excuse be? Your inability to poo properly?... ![]() |
COOLDUN: This is an open invitation for a military to take over the government in Nigeria soon, ask your history teacher what happened before, and on the January 15 1966. This present democracy is a stage managed show by the military in Nigeria, i am very sorry that the ignorant politicians are foolishly dancing to the tone of death. You are just posting idle stuff! Amaechi is too small to bring the military back. He is just one man and rivers is just one state. If the military didnt come back after all the carnage in the north in the last 2 years, is it rivers state wrestling match that will bring them back? Stop making idle talk. Amaechi is very dispensable. |
I told ya'll yesterday, this is south south. Things happen differently here. The ignorance of some makes them keep saying GEJ is involved. The truth is, if GEJ is involved, it would have stopped already. GEJ is too gentle for all this. But the real folks involved are crocodiles and wild boas, if you know what I mean! I shake my head for Amaechi. He has opened a big pot of shyte! He is taken Rivers back to 1997! God help us all! |
Geomac: NGF election and what happened in Ekiti are not the same bro.See bro, let me lay it simple for you. I have never been against Nigeria having a good opposition and an alternative. PDP is far from perfect! A good opposition is actually good for us all. But what irks me to my bone is that these so called opposition are a bunch of freaking hypocrites with zero love for Nigeria! Absolutely no love or patriotism for Nigeria. they are just seeking to grab power and enslave the rest of us. The day I see real opposition, I will know and will support them |
dayokanu: What parallels can you draw about this and Amaechi who was voted as NGF chairman by majority of Nigerian Governors?Sharrap! Hypocrite! The whole forum is laughing at you... ![]() |
dayokanu: He feels he is qualified but the party does not want him to contest for the Governorship, He can pursue his ambitions in other parties.Gerrout! Hypocrite unlimited!!! Why didnt you say this about Amaechi? Shameless hypocrites!!! ![]() |
franchizy: The pictures are fabricated and its even an old pictures. I urge nairalanders to disregard dis pics and demand 4 a current pics.Go and urge your kid brothers at home my friend. Who gives 2 rats ears what you think? |
Akiika: Citizens of mumu kingdom, you are happy that the Chinese held a welcome ceremony for your dullard president, right? Let me remind you that he's only there to borrow some more money to be embezzled and used for the process of rigging himself back in!When Fashola went to borrow, what did he borrow for? Ok, to increase the bank account of the asiwaju and organise more Iyaloja ceremonies abi? ![]() |
I have told these kids and faceless opposition people online that their baseless, partisan and bigotted campaign will hand GEJ the 2015 ticket on a platter of Gold! Mark my words!!! |
bobthebuilder99: The lies that sycophants like the last pope spread online are pathetic. You are an IDIOTA! Empty Vessel! |
playmode: [b]That is how i post ,if you don't like it don't read my posts.Do you know what it means to inspect a guard of honour? Was that an inspection? Please refer to GEJ's photo above. If that Obama example was an official inspection of a guard of honour, then surely GEJ got more respect from China than Obama got from South africa. Never respond until you are sure you have a bigger fire power! Candid advise! NB: Sorry I have to reduce your fonts! It hurts the eyes! ![]() |
Isnt it an irony here that the same people claiming GEJ is too extravagant and that Cameron of Britain enters public transport are the same people saying GEJ should have been received at the airport by the Chinese president? Very confused bunch! This is Obama being welcomed by the minister for internal affairs in South Africa
|
playmode: [b]I did not want to post any any comment here but i feel i need to educate these GEJ lapdogs who see nothing wrong with the way Jonathan was treated.Posting with extra large fonts will never make your post more intelligent or more authentic! Ask Demdem! Obama was recieved in South Africa by the minister of Internal affairs and didnt inspect a guard of honour at the airport. Reeducate yourself bro and stop being partisan! |
truenaijaman: @thelastpope, If you are as versed in Protocol issues as you say, you definitely know that sending a Junior Minister to receive Jonathan is "Diplomatic Speak" for "This is what level we see you at right now"What have you said in summary? Please go back and start from page 2 and read again and again! 1. The person who received the president at the airport is not a "junior" public servant 2. The president was received at a grand ceremony by the Chinese president as protocol demands. See pictures above! 3. The Chinese will never, I repeat. never belittle the Nigerian president. Too much is at stake. Update yourself bro Thank you and please do ponder carefully! |
Ozin: @ Thelastpop...Pls do not crave in to the above. Pls stay here and expose their liesNot going anywhere bro! Am right here... ![]() |
enm: please can someone sane here, remind us the purpose of the visit? is it to be accorded a grand welcome by the chinese president and people ? or to source for cheap fund that will be put into use in the development of our infrastructure. The petty ignoramus peeps think the welcome is the real story here. Just imagine their mindset! Like market women arguing over tomatoes and pepper!...Disgusting... ![]() |
InvertedHammer:You have no clue what you are talking about. Go back and read more comments. For the records, the chinese government can never, i repeat, can never belittle the Nigerian President. We are about their biggest trade partners in Africa. Most of you are just students and jobless youths. You need some real education. |
Pataki: Zip it. Otueke is a village not a city. There is nothing that smacks of tribalism or bigoted bitterness in my comment. Even in developed countries in Europe, there are 'villages' here and there with schools therein. I really don't blame you though, when all you know and breath is from the Otueke village school. You are a bigot! Datzall! You are also a hypocrite! |
ilugunboy: The bold is strictly your opinion...so why do you think i give a flying fvck over that.Who cares about your opinion. I will expose and lay you lot bare. Datzall!
|
Omen100: @thelastpope, your job would have become more difficult & tough for you to handle, I feel your painsWhat exactly are you on about? Is that your best shot? ![]() |
ilugunboy: *rolls off from my seat* and splashed coffee on my white shirt....There is nothing funny there. It is the raw display of tribalism and biggoted bitterness. It only exposes the mindset of the one who posted it. Profiling and denigrating people based on their tribes, origin or villages is so pathetic! It is only for the stone age and I am not surprised someone like him posted that. Another statement made of utmost pettiness! |
Pataki: You claim this thread is petty, but yet you respond to anyone who raises a different opinion about the foolish reception accorded to the foolish beggar-man.Yes: The thread is petty No: I wont leave it alone. I will surely treat your f!up!!! Pettiness is for the Tonto Dike section. This is a section for serious people! Is this how you want to win Nigeria in 2015? By spreading "city people gossip"? With all this your kparaga news? Tufiakwa X 10 !!! |
supaeagles: Are you sureDont you watch CNN? The airport is not where presidents receive visitors. They do that at the government house. Na wa for some of una self! Na black and white TV you dey watch? ![]() |

Did you just say Obama did not inspect a Guard of honor at the airport in South Africa? So the photos below were photoshopped photos
