supaeagles: while that is true, they should at least send somebody bigger than the houseboy to receive our leaderA house boy? A deputy foreign minister a houseboy! You lads have become senile and bitter with hate! It is really eating you lot up! I pity you... ![]() |
Pataki: Slow your roll dunderhead. Stop this utterly silly hyperventilation. You tried spinning a bunch of baloney here, and you got served disgracefully. I can appreciate you becoming despondent here about your beloved foolish fisherman. But the disgrace this beggar-man is heaping on Nigeria is shameful and disgraceful.Shut up my friend! Stop posting more crap! You have been exposed! You are very very petty! You should be posting in the gossip section! Adamu! |
Dagoma: Serves him right, thats to show him his level.Serves who right? LOL! Ignorance is bliss! |
supaeagles: Tell Oga GEJ that Obama de wait for him in Washington DC airport and go give correct reception as is due to the leader of the giant of AfricaObama does not receive anyone at the airport. SMH for you ! |
duality: The big problem is that, in an attempt to discredit GEJ, some Nigerians are destroying the image of Nigeria on the internet. People think when they insult GEJ, it ends that way. people will address you that same way. Its what Nigerians call themselves, that's what others will call them. Before people will realize this it may be too late. They have sworn to make the nation ungovernable for GEJ! But they dont realise that they are like the proverbial child who says his mother will not sleep. He too will never see sleep! Let them continue. We are all in it together. But they will be the biggest loosers, believe me! |
Orikinla: The coup plot in Rivers State will fail and the plotters will be exposed and disgraced by the infinite power of JEHOVAH GOD.Attention: This post was posted from Alausa! |
Pataki: You are intellectually slow. You did not deem it news worthy, but yet you were so quick to type in LARGE FONTS here about how President Obama was received by whom not only in one country but two countries respectively. If you think you will have a free day with your propaganda and lies, you are even more foolish! You will be exposed and ridiculed. Your petty, bring him down by all means, campaign will be exposed. Your senseless, "make the nation ungovernable" campaign will be treated the way it should! Deal with it! Shameless online touts and trolls spreading lies and falsehood and pettiness. You are despicable!!! You think you can go around making up news and spreading falsehood just to discredit the president so your criminal Jagaban can take over Nigeria and install Iyalojas all over the 36 states and choose all the governorship candidates and collect all the taxes? You must be high on cheap stuff! |
thegoodjoehunt: So everybody you have seen attacked or beaten carried blood? So as Amachree was rendered slaps you expected to see blood. Explain to me how the anti Amaechi lawmakers took over the house to carryout the impeachment. So is it the slaps that landed him in the hospital to require drips and then come back to plank people again? Please just try and be consistent my friend |
Pataki: Keep your childish tantrums for your people. Now carefully go and dig out where China has ever received a President of any other nation apart from Nigeria with a Junior Minister of foreign affairs.Tufiakwa! Your posts smack of thoughtlessness and joblessness! It is only a jobless person that will go around talking about who received the president at the airport when the president still went ahead to have a Grand ceremony and signing of agreements with the Chinese president! shame on you! Did the person who received him at the airport affect what he went there to do? Only the likes of Femi Fani Kayode and jobless APC online trolls like you think this is news worthy! Very shameful and petty below the belt thread. disgusting! Gossip is for the gossip section! Shame!!! |
Pataki: When a country sends a mere Junior Minister to receive the President of a nation, that is utter shame! You are the one without shame! A petty opposition sycophant who comes online to try and make news out of who receives the president at the airport. Very childish and petty group of people you are! disgusting!!! Tufiakwa!!! |
The spin doctors are here! I just love the way you guys try to convince people that a piece of turd is actually a chunk of chocolate Yeah I'm sure junior minister are those that welcomed Obama during his just concluded african trip. I'm also sure if that jiaping or what is his name, pays a visit to Nigeria, red carpets will be rolled out with our dear president standing like a school kid on the tarmac waiting to welcome him. I'm sure you will not see anything bad in that. You paid hacks, I'm sure you all are finding your job more difficult daily in your quest to defend your meal ticket |
idupaul: You have still not told us why GEJ was received by the Airport Comptroller and why CCTV didn't deem it fit to headline the arrival of the president of Africas most populous nationThere is nothing to tell you again. If you dont get it, you will never ever get it! Please read my post again and get some education. It might help! |
This only shows how petty the opposition are! Always looking for petty stuff to attack the president. So shameful. |
All of you who made all these responses are ignoramus! Very sad the quality of people posting on Nairaland! 1. Obama was received at the Airport in South Africa by a Minister 2. Obama was received at the Airport in Germany by a Minister 3. Jacob Zuma was received at the Airport in China by the Chinese Ambassador to South Africa We can go on and on and on! In fact, it is against tradition in most democracies for presidents to receive other presidents at the airport. Presidents receive other presidents in the government house. Most of you amaze with your unintelligent posts! |
I said it clearly yesterday that this is south south. Things work differently here. I know what I am talking about. Amaechi has gone too far! |
thegoodjoehunt: Funny enough, I made my comments before seeing the picture. You lots are talking as if you have not sen an attacked guy come back and deal with his attackers. I heard Bipi and and co. stormed the house and Lloyd and Amachree were the targets. I can never have pity on those who storm a parliamentary ground with thugs to attack lawmakers.Where in the video did you see anyone storming the house to carry out an impeachment? The impeachment video started with a peaceful procession into the house with the mace. No storming anywhere except in your propaganda filled head! ![]() How can a man with drip on his body suddenly come back to the house with such energy to start planking people? You guys are a real joke! ![]() |
I have told you where this war that was started by GEJ is leading to. This is not Obasanjo's time where he used same method to impeach Alams. River state is also not Bayelsa. Also a lot of vested interest is involved. It has gone beyond Amechi and Jonathan. Mark my word, this is just about 2015 and all vested interest will be involved Let see who the clueless one will play the game. I warned Nigerians. Now that we have empowered a clueless coward, let bear the consequence
You are clearly an idiota posting from Alausa. You have nothing to say so move on! ![]() |
Somewhere in our constitution, it was written that the House of Representative should legislate for a state house of Assembly that could not properly do their work owing to any reason. I call the House of Representative to urgently take up the responsibility of Legislating for River State. They should also investigate all that is behind the show, including Amechi and Jonathan. As a matter of urgency, whoever is found culpable should be impeached. It is time to teach both Jonathan and Amechi that the fate of Nigeria is far beyond their selfish personal ambition.
Shut your mouth my friend! Where in the report or videos did you see Jonathan? Or did you see him in your dreams? |
jackymfon: I can't believe some people are actually supporting this evil! Whether pro ameachi or anti ameachi, brutality doesn't solve anything! Lets speak the truthThat is the real problem there. Some of us have been shouting all along that this fight isnt about changing Nigeria or enthroning good governance and we have been proven right again. There is nothing wrong about having a good opposition. In fact, it is to our benefit, including me typing this post, that we have a good opposition and even for power to change hands if need be. But the truth is, some of us realise that what we have as opposition are just a bunch of people seeking to grab power by all means and return us back to neo colonialism and that is why we will continue to fight it. You would expect the so called opposition to condemn an act such as this but alas, what do you get? 1. They say it is good for PDP (after hailing Amaechi as their messiah) 2. They say Chidi Lyod was justified because he was attacked first. Meanwhile Chidi Lyod attacked someone with full strength on live camera and later went and lay on an hospital bed like someone about to die 3. They say it is justified because 5 lawmakers cannot impeach the speaker. This is how these people always speak. They will tell you Tinubu is right to select candidates unilateraly because he is good at selecting performing candidates but they will jump on another thread to tell you PDP is undemocratic and GEJ is a dictator They will tell you Tinubu is allowed to name his daughter the Iyaloja of Africa or whatever because the Yourubas are not complaining They will tell you Fashola is right not to fix the Okota road because the landlord have taken him to court, even though the road has been bad for over 6 years now They will defend and cover up all the failures of their party and tell you the other party is bad. That is the sad state we have found ourselves |
A fuller story!
There is an error in this TVC report. The report said the 27 pro Amaechi lawmakers later convened. The whole house is made up of 27 lawmakers. How can you now have 27 pro Amaechi lawmakers? Apart from that, the reports looks more like a fair summery of the incident |
obayaya: bros you've said it all.. all these won't affect the price of garri in the market.. make I crash jareSo you knew this before trying to spin a GEJ story out of it abi? Dundee! |
jmaine: The Gbege go boil oo !!The biggest problem for Amaechi is that the ND warlords are not on his side. Tompolo and the others are not with him. His own boys are small boys. If it comes to fire power, they will eat them raw, like gala! |
obayaya: ewu.. you probably don't understand English or your speaker is bad.. whichever one it is, watch the second video and hear what the blue monster was whispering to the guy he hugged before you start running your mouthDid you hear the guy saying the president sent him? What are you on about? Please stop your ignorant and foolish nonsense. Is GEJ the reason Amaechi is fighting with everyone in Rivers state? Just shut your mouth my friend if you dont have anything to say! |
jmaine: The New speaker wey even organize thugs come na even Vicki man . .No be the same game him and Amaechi deyThat is why I said this will not end well. It is going to turn into a bloody fight and the biggest looser will be Amaechi, believe me. If he is not careful, he will not come out of this...you know what I mean! RIvers and ND are not like SW or North. They do things very differently. |
abu12: The president is in china and so?If you are not an illiterate, you would have read and understood all the media report that said the governor had to quickly head for the house when he heard the house was having issues. But alas! You definitely cannot read or write properly. Please get some education. Adamu! |
I was almost reduced to tears watching this brutal beating supposedly done by a few politicians... But really, this is sad.................................
Those are Amaechi's men! And Amaechi is some people's heroes just because they believe he is serving the opposition's cause! lol. This will definitely not end well |
obayaya: didn't you hear Evans in the second video saying why will he insult the president, my mother in this earth, it's unacceptable.. that's a proof that Mr president is involved directly or indirectlyDid you see the president in that video? If you dont have anything to post, just shut up my friend! The video is about lawmakers in Rivers state fighting and the governor going to the house. The president is in China. Please shut up! |
Akainzo: Which of the rules?I havent said they did or did not follow the rule. You are the only one saying that. I am careful with my statement because we dont have all the facts here. You sound like you were present there and that makes you sound funny or biased at best. A lot will come to the fore in the following days. The only things clear for now are: 1. A man assaulted some other men in full glare of cameras and he will go down for that 2. There was an impeachment but we are not sure yet if it is valid 3. The governor did go to the house during this saga and that brings a completely different dimension into it. No matter what the case is, the governor can not be seen interfering in the house affairs. Every other thing will have to await more info |
So the speaker bounces back to pass a baill Allowing Amaechi to move funds. What a laugh! ![]() |
So the speaker bounces back to pass a bill Allowing Amaechi to move funds. What a laugh! ![]() |
Vicktor2015: can't stop laughing, the impeachment process looks very childish omo see new 9ja movie waiting for part 3,4,5.....It doesn't matter how it looks. All that matters is if they followed the rule. |
Inik: I think the number of lawmakers in the impeachment video is a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10. I wonder why the cameras didn't capture the rest of the assembly room but the mace looks authentic. The two key factors for impeachment are 1. The Mace and 2. Forming A quorum They got the mace. If they get a sizeable number of people to their side, then they will succeed. |
