The monthly allocations accrued to the states have seen a big increase since the removal of fuel subsidy. January 2024, FAAC shared 1.13trillion. In December 2023, 1.13trillion was shared, in November 2023, 1.78trillion shared. In August 2023, 1.13trillion was shared.

These respective allocations were a big boost from 786billion that was shared on May 2023 at the tenure end of the last Administration.

The President had a talk with the Governors over the subsidy removal and promised increased allocations to enable them cushion the effects and help them deliver to their people.

So far, Governors haven't shown commiserable deliverables to the increase in allocation at their disposals. It appears to be that the Governors are less interested in driving the vision of the president than lining their pockets while their people groan and complain under their watch.

The media are not putting the pressure on the Governors, everyone's eyes are fixed on the President.

By the way, they didn't win their offices on the backbone of the promise of Mr prescient.

It is not corruption fighting back. I have done business with an agency of government and was paid from a private account of the head of that department.


The reason is that funds don't come every day and sometimes a circular comes directing the return of that money or any left so what they do is quickly move the money out of government coffers As soon as it is paid into their account they can keep their operation going


Government money doesn't come every day hence the huge difference between what they pay for supplies and what is obtainable from the same supply to private firms


Imagine supplying a government agency and the agreement is one month and the thing turns into a waiting game of nearly six months when the money is finally in their account an emergency comes up and that same money is redirected, that is not just another six months because you in charge of that department will explain tire before anybody listen to you that you have not paid for supplies and that agencies not one that you can sit down and allow to shut down ...the probe no go be here

He doesn't nominate... The power resides with a Council to recommend not nominate and it follows according to seniority in that state judiciary... It is not something that can be done by cherry-picking.

The only person that can remove the governor is the Chief Judge of the state who is empowered by law to set up a 7 man committee to study and judge whatever the house submits as allegations against the governor.


Once the verdict says the allegations are frivolous that ends the impeachment proceedings... There is nowhere in the law that talks of zonal distribution of the membership of the 7 man committee so they can all come from one zone... That of the governor.


It has happened in Nasararwa when Almakura was Governor and the pdp dominated house wanted to impeach him

Payday is a very useless and unethical company. Patronize them at your own risk.

I Funded my Dollar Virtual card with them but all payment transactions were declined with 'Insufficient Funds' response, despite have more that enough balance. So I asked them to refund my money but they started dribbling me and playing dumb. I was shocked when I visited their Twitter page to find out lots of their customers where facing same problem and being ignored by useless Payday support.
