I became a Samsung electronics diehard when they engaged Don Jazzy back then ...Bought their TV ...40 inches and later gave it away and bought 48 inches then home theater..... unfortunately, the screen is now.misbehaving and when in enquired about fixing it , I was told to better get a new one that screen is the weakness of Samsung TVs and I shouldn't buy Samsung TVs

That the president-elect was not qualified to contest.
To buttress this ground, in an election petition, The learned silk is relying on a case bothering on a civil proceeding against the president-elect alleging fine on drug trafficking in the U.S.
S. 131 of the extant 1999 Constitution lays down requirements to satisfy for eligibility to contest for the office the president i.e. you must be a Nigerian citizen, upto 40 years of age, must be sponsored by a political party and must have been educated upto secondary school or it's equivalent.
Unless your petition challenging the eligibility of a candidate to contest for the office of the president falls within any of the requirements mentioned under the enabling provisions of S. 131(a-d) of the CFRN 1999, I can't see how the Election Petition Tribunal can entertain it.

Election Petition Tribunals are not regular courts, they are special courts with special/specific jurisdiction and their powers are narrowly define. Unlike regular courts, they are not to consider matters too extranenous or tangential to the specific provisions of the constitution and the Electoral Act directly in issue. Mr. Livy as a SAN should have known this.

The alleged drug case Obi is relying on is not a conviction, it's a forfeiture proceeding, a purely civil matter, hence how can that be a ground for disqualification?

Obi also wants the tribunal to declare him the winner of the Feb. 25th elections having scored the majority vote!!! 😳😳. Can you believe this?
Obi came a distant 3rd trailing PDP by almost 1million votes and APC by about 2Million votes.

I am not sure he can ask for this prayer unless he also joins Atiku Abubakar and his party too, the PDP, since Atiku scored more votes than him. For him to be declared winner, he has to also seek to nullify some of Atiku's vote.

Unfortunately, there is no room for amendment under the Electoral Act. There is no room for joinder of party as this will amount to seeking an amendment which is not allowed.

Obi is also asking for two mutually contradictory reliefs/prayers at the same time, you can't be asking the court to confirm you the winner of an election which are claiming to be flawed. He asked the court to declare him the winner in one breathe and on other breathe he is asking the court to nullify the entire election and order a new one. You cannot aprobate and reprobate at the same time.

Perhaps the most laughable of all the prayers is the one asking the tribunal to order a new elections and bar ASIWAJU from contesting. This is plainly impossible. A tall order.

On the vexing issue of the FCT and the failure to secure 25%, I think there is nothing to say. There is already a judicial authority settling this issue. All the Tribunal needs to do is to reiterate the position of the Supreme Court.

If this is what they intend to confront the team of lawyers led by Olanipekun and Fagbemi with, then Obi and his team of lawyers are jokers.

I can tell you of the excitement I got when I found out about ChatGPT in November, but this excitement was short-lived because of a serious discovery that could not make me ever use this technology on client work which I am privileged to work on.

The honest truth is that we are all lazy, including the expert too, and having a tool that seems to fix that looks like a relief, but as a senior colleague told me, work will continue to work even with or without the tool. My first discovery was from a work that I thought I have finished fast and after passing it to our standard and compliance department. It has to be returned because it was obviously a lazy job.

You heard that right, not just human that is lazy but AI too, many of the words were just repeated over again. Which was terrible. Doing proper academic research will never have resulted in that.

Second is that the tool was never designed to be used for academic or professional research as it has no reference nor the source original. So this thereby doubles the work of then looking for the material it source, yet the plagiarism is high.

The third which I will rap up to another day is that it is not designed to be perfect many research works are often specific and this tool is just not going to understand that. I could remember asking it obvious details about the CEO of OpenAI the company that designed it and missing it.
