Mooh247:

This is my favourite clause;
10. Clause 84 stipulates that anyone holding a political office – ministers, commissioners, special advisers, and others – must relinquish the position before they can be eligible to participate in the electoral process either as a candidate or as a delegate.
Will Prof Osinbajo, Ameachi, Dave Umahi, Orji Uzor Kalu and Rochas Okorocha resign by June 2022 so as to participate in the 2023 Election
. There is a MARKED DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICE HOLDERS |

shinealight: True, but don’t forget that the House of Reps members (360 of them) are also going to be delegates…not just governors or those that can be teleguided by Buhari. The House of Reps inserted that Clause that every aspirant must agree in writing for a genuine Consensus to take place! How did Obasanjo lose his third term bid?….they sabotaged it at the National Assembly. The President does not always have his way! Even, the Party positions that he virtually dictated is already being questioned openly by some aspirants who said they have been campaigning for the past one year….they can still throw a spanner in the works at the Convention venue! Be the first to know that all the Aspirants will step-down for his anointed candidate. As for the NASS, they won't all vote in one direction.... Interest and who is going to supervise your election.. Buhari.. Will be a key factor for them |
Politics › Re: President Buhari Signs Electoral Act Amendment Bill Into Law by Themandator: 2:08pm On Feb 25, 2022 |
shinealight: It means Presidential primaries are most likely to be conducted using INDIRECT mode …..because Consensus don get K leg now since every presidential aspirant must agree in writing before a Consensus candidate can emerge. This is good for Nigerian democracy. No more Buhari anointed somebody…..the people or their representatives must now choose! Sir, Buhari just gave APC a new chairman by just gathering the governor's As their convention draws close some aspirant will even see it that they are headed no where Nad drop out.. Some will do it on the convention grounds Right now he has taken over the entire structure of his party through proxies and already dictating who is going to be what are the centre... It is through those structures that delegstes, apart from statutory ones, are selected or picked |

Artzdanielsz: He knows that without the removal of mandatory direct primary he won't be able to put his successor and also he can control the delegates that will vote in his candidate. Nice one Mandatory direct primary as the only option is illegal and a breach on party principles Buhari will have his candidate whichever way and whatever laws that applies.. It is winning in the larger society with this law that is a challenge |

BlazinGlory40: Consensus is part of the bill sir! Not the consensus of old where some bigwigs meet and decide.. This time it is the aspirants that bought forms that we agree to a consensus However I see Mr president sending in a amendment bill which may capture that issue because as it is now, consensus is dead on arrival |

I am a father of three but I am a stakeholder who knows that 1 minute in governance can change many decisions. If the bill is sign able it should have been signed yesterday to enable Inec use the time table already released for the 2023 election but with this unnecessary shift, inec even when signed on Friday, would still have to readjust their 2023 calandar |

tweakdude1: Dude there is nothing devoiding about the situation. NATO signed an agreement with the USSR (present day Russia) that they will not have her member around Russian borders. If Ukraine joins NATO today, Russia will by every means necessary to neutralize her because she is a threat. If Ukraine wants peace they should not join NATO. Do you have link to the agreement between USSR and Nato? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: President Biden Warns of Imminent Russian Invasion (Pics, Video) by Themandator: 2:06pm On Feb 19, 2022 |
ValCon888: Russia doesn't really want to invade Ukraine. Russia is just doing everything it can to stop Ukraine from joining NATO.
Because if Ukraine becomes a NATO member, America and NATO can use Ukraine as a parking spot for nuclear and other ballistic weapons.
That's like pointing a gun to Russia's head, and we'll have the Cuban Missile Crisis all over again.
In this era and time, I don't think there's any country in the world that wants to go to war. Not even that mad man in North Korea.
If you think peace is expensive, try war. The cost of destruction can set your country back to the Stone Age. The truth. But Russia aggressive posturing has made the choice inevitable for both Ukraine and Georgia and has even strengthened the resolve of some smaller countries to join the organization |

I believe this bridge u posted ends at the border between Nigeria and Cameroon, unlike the rail-line that extends about 40km into Niger. It is not in any border.. It is within Nigeria and does not lead to any Nigerian border.. The bridge is between obubra and Ikom on the highway |

Note that this bridge leads to Cameroon and would increase trade between Nigeria and the neighboring country.

You're trying to be intelligent by half..
The rail way will be constructed in niger republic soil,is this bridge in Cameron side or Nigerian side? The bridge is not even in the BOUNDARY NOT TO TALK OF SIDE... IT IS BEFORE IKOM WHICH IS THE BORDER TOWN YOU CROSS IT AND CONTINUE YOUR JOURNEY FOR ANOTHER 20 MINUTES OR MORE BEFORE YOU GET INTO IKOM.. IKOM IS NOT THE END OF NIGERIA OR CROSS RIVER STATE FROM IKOM YOU CONTINUE TO TO PLACES FSR OFF LIKE Obudu and ogoja which is a boundary between the south and north... It is after ogoja that you enter benue state |

Then left the rest of the drugs to be used as evidence against the drug traffickers, while half thier drugs are already in the market and Abba and His cocaine traffickers in police uniforms go scot free.
Wonders shall never end. Not just more than half, he equally helped the drug agency sell half of the remaining 10kg |

It is idiotic to believe that it is those haggard-looking miners and grave-diggers that are making use of the dismembered human parts. Keep worshipping a fellow human. If that makes you sleep better at night, good for you. Your destiny has probably been mortgaged a long time ago which explains why you reason like a programmed religious robot that is running low on battery.
Pablo Escobar was worth billions in dollars and was a great philanthropist. He was a drug lord and a heartless killer. Should we canonize him since money is the only yardstick your ilks use in judging characters? / If all that is required to build such global churches is a few heads, the federal government would gladly donate heads after all, a military governor ordered the killing of criminals so student could have cadavers, how many of the graduates doctors from that set can boast of employing 500 persons? Again, the fact that you actually believe that it takes a power from spiritual fortified to go mega instead of God given acumen shows how empty you are.. Too many global businesses abound and from every nation to reckon that it requires demonic help to make it to that level My question now is this: whatever you believe in. Hard work, not being in the pocket of these scammers, are you are a good product, a good selling point that can be referenced? |
