I suggest you sit down and plan out a strict time table. Include period of sleep that spans not more than 8hrs in a day. For example, go to bed as early as 8 or 9pm and then wake up as early as 4-5am.

Try to read even if its a single line before going to bed.
Do the same when you wake up. How well you read during the rest of the day solely depends on how discipline and motivated you are to your cause.

If you are having trouble waking up, ask your roommates for help. You can also try drinking about two cups of water before going to bed. The urge to urinate can help you to wake up too.

No one understands your body better than you.

Plan well.

8 hours is too much for a student. They'll say its unhealthy but I tell you one will have to defy all odds to b successful. I sleep max of 5hrs and 4hrs during exam period. Did I die ?


To the op. If d problem is your alarm refusing to wake you. Then I may suggest you download Alarmy(Sleep if you can) app from playstore which will require you to solve a math problem or scan a barcode before you can sleep or snooze alarm which I'm sure you will b fully awake by then..

And then I understand the stress a fresher has too cos I'm also one but then, you will have to reduce stress during d day to the bearest minimum to allow maximum reading at night. And then visit library during the day too. Don't just bank on night reading
