I have received mails from a few, added two on whatsapp. For one of them, I actually thought I was adding a girl because his profile said female on NL, I stopped responding after few days though. The other one too was not just 'it' for me.

I decided to post this topic here because this is the most visited page on nairaland after the front page.i had some serious arguments with my friends because some of them were shaming me for slow progress in my musical career' mind you I started music since 2011 but I am yet to see a real breakthrough in my career though I have rejected some record deals in the past because they were suspicious to me.

one of my friends told me the reason I am yet to blow is because I didn't apply 'science' to my songs meaning I didn't apply juju to my career that all the big artists I know both local and international have some apply supernatural powers to their careers before they blew up that if I don't do the same that am going nowhere in music this got me thinking did wizkid,davido, rema and joeboy did all this blow or stay relevant because as for me I believe it's hardwork and opportunity but now am thinking otherwise.

America can bully Nigeria because we don't have much to offer them but not China. I don't blame them but the leaders who can't make things right with all the resources we've we should be on the same level. If Nigeria can over haul her Agricultural sector they won't have much influence on us. But right now we solely depend on oil and America controls OPEC. We can buy technology from China or Russia if the USA refuses to sell just like Turkey and South Africa are doing right now. but a ban on Nigeria's oil will affect us.

That is how all countries function on the foreign field but the problem with Nigeria is we are focused on what we can gain from our fellow citizens and not other countries. When China borrows they think of China, in Nigeria when politicians borrow they think of themselves and how to loot.

America owes China but they can pay, Nigeria needs IMF to pay off their debt. There is a difference.

I never said we should not be self-governed but obviously a country you are dependent on will always have to interfere and you must compromise. That is how international politics work. In theory you might talk tough about self-governance but if America tells China to stop harassing protesters in Hong Kong or they will stop supplying them with microprocessors and America is serious about it, China will either compromise or forget economic advancement on that angle. Sovereignty is only in theory.
