So it's for transportation.
The driver's driving pattern could also increase the oil consumption.
Overloading would also increase oil consumption..

My advice don't change the engine, just keep using the vehicle like that. Top the engine oil when low
Thanks bro, that's what I'll do. I heard the engine is about 150k now can't blow that much money now.

You dey use your bus carry passengers or load?
Most engines will consume more oil at higher speed & load
I lease it out and collect delivery everyday. It is used for carrying passengers.

you need check well that there is no leak cause there is many ways oil can get leaking from the engine and if there is still no evidence of leak you may be burning oil from worn engine which may be due to worn piston rings or best thing do a compression test
Thanks alot bro. I'll do all you have said. I'm servicing the car tommorrow so I'll tell the mechanic to help me check well.

How do I know if the piston rings is the problem?
And is it advisable to change the engine totally or replacell the piston rings if that's the issue.
Also please what's a compression test?

BTW when I bought the car, the engine looked very new water was coming out of the exhaust pipe sef cool and it's not been up to 2 months. So sad embarassed

replace the engine with a well maintained used one. You will find it in ladipo
Choi, can I manage it till it breaks down completely so I can save money for the new engine or will it spoil other things?

Oga GAZZUZZ and other esteemed learned ones in the house, Good day to you all.

Please my small suzuki bus(7 passengers) always drains oil when there is no sign of leakage. I have to constantly top the oil to get it back to the normal level.

How can I fix or manage this.
Thanks as I anticipate your reponses.

Good evening here and happy Friday.

I am student of one of the University here at ilorin and i am into fabric business to help myself

Yesterday, as i was coming back from school; a customer ordered for a fabric and i went to delivered it to her so on my way back home, it's already like 6pm.

I decided to branch at a friend house who stay around the area i went to delivered the fabric but unfortunately, I couldn't meet her at home and her number was not reachable so i decided to trek abit maybe we would meet on the road as the time is around 6:30pm and she isn't the type who stay out for long.

After i pass like 3 buildings to her house, I saw a transparent black nylon near the road (it has almost felt inside the gutter) so i passed it and my instincts told me that was a money from the way it look, I went back to check what was inside the nylon and was so surprised to see a bundle of money wrap together.

I picked it up and waited for like 30minutes in that spot to see if anyone will pass claiming he or she was looking for lost money. After like 30minutes; no one show signs of searching for any lost money.

it's already getting late around 7pm, so i took bike to my house .

Getting home, I opened the nylon and counted the money and it was 106,000

I was feeling somehow and thinking of the condition the person would be because the money look like that of those traders based on the way it was wrapped together so i left my house early in the morning today to that same spot maybe the person might appear or i would see anyone talking about lost money but everyone were busy with their business so i left back home with the money.

The reason why i created this thread is to hear your advice on what to do with the money because part of me is telling me to give the needy the money , another part of me is telling me to use the money on my business and also get a small phone from it because the one i am using presently isn't that good and i need some cash for my business as well.

Please i will really appreciate your suggestions

Moderator should help me move it to appropriate place as i don't know where to post it.
Funny enough now you have revealed all information about the money it would be quite impossible to find the real owner. What you pulled wasn't a smart move and the mod that moved this to frontpage should have edited your post.

Someone who isn't the original owner can claim the money with all the information you posted. You could have done better, it's all good sha. You have a nice heart.

You have to be careful, you have your picture attached to your profile on a faceless forum and you are saying you picked money. Do you know if your neighbor who is a criminal is on nairaland?

You have a good heart and it's people like you that bad things happen to, mind how you post your personal stuff all over the Internet.

My advice would be to tell a radio station you picked a significant amount of money and have them announce it. Take your picture out from you nairaland profile and be more careful on the internet.

I understand. I just imagine how some ladies comment in a manner that shows them too can even slap their daughter in law.
The best thing is to marry a wife who can understand not to retaliate in such cases and also scold your mother if she does such evil to your wife. Even to imagine this thing tire me, it shouldn't be heard of.

Try to be sensible at times. This is just a question thrown to be answered and not to be displaying irresponsibility here. One day you to will become a mother in law. That is all what you feminists don't understand. The kind of dirty comment u posted here shows that if u have a daughter in law you will slap her if she is rude to u. People like you can't control your anger towards another person.
The most sensible thing b4 any lady should make a comment is first put yourself in that situation. Those feminist that always condemn men for any reason. I believe if u were a man, you will be worse than these men u hate.
Bro no mother has the right to slap anybody who is an adult forget say nigeria is filled with injustice and irrationality. I agree that even when an elderly person slaps you, you need to show respect and self control yourself but brother if the person decides not to show self control and retaliates, he/she is not to be questioned sef talkless of fought. It's only an insane mother that would slap an adult, we need to start using our head in this country.

He didn't use 'shot' in the context of the headline.
He was obviously referring to the frozen account.

The legal adults, if they are 18+ should know their rights— which includes rejecting such imposition. If they do not reject the imposition, it is their problem or the parents. Not the problem of the University.
They have their rules. Go there and abide by it. Don’t abide by it— then go to other options. It’s that simple. Things are much easier than we make them to be.
I'm not even pointing fingers, those laws should not exist for legal adults and they should have the flexibility to attend any school of their choice. Religious laws shouldn't be a factor when choosing a school but academic relevance. That's my thought though, might be wrong.

madridsta007:
Not sure. I’ve got my reservations about the school but, if we are honest, they have their values which they seem to abide strictly by. It’s left for people to either attend the University or choose from the thousands others around the world. No one is forcing anyone to attend the Uni.
Parents actually force legal adults to attend the school.
Nigeria is still a century away from civilization that's why we condone all these stupid laws that regulate how two people use their body parts consensually.

i have been seeing this debate on the internet for a while, and I decided to bring it to nairaland.
What's your opinion to the topic.
Is water wet?
I ll share my opinion later.

Modified
So here's my opinion, wet or wetness can be define as as state of been covered or saturated in water or any other liquid.
Now from the definition, water cannot be covered by water or saturated by water. So therefore water is not wet and cannot get wet in its liquid state.
Water is actually covered with water as you cannot get a single layer of water to be called water. So water is wet.
