Seun, please why did the politics mod ban me because I said APC guys are paid? I have been observing how the politics mod is running the section. I will speak soon. The APC e-rats here accuse GEJ supporters of being paid on every thread but never get banned. So why ban me for calling them out? This is double standard and is beginning to paint a story of compromised admins. This is wrong and sends the message that this site is being biased in favour of APC |
APC cannot win the south west in the 2015 presidential election. Not even if they present Fashola as presidential candidate. NL APC people are noise makers at best |
He is a sinking man and he knows it. There is nothing in the world he will do to save himself from the ND wahala |
donphilopus: Stop being a Nitwit! Is the info sourceless?? YES or NO!What is the meaning of sourceless? The write up was written by Adulrazaque Bello-Barkindo, not Al Mustapha and you are here making a fool of yourself. I even gave you the benefit of doubt and you did the usual: you completely removed all my doubts and convinced me you are really daft! Very sad. ![]() |
Unblockable: Blessing or curse??A big blessing of course |
Desric: This goes a long way to show the nature and character of our President, his party the PDP, and the level of tolerance in our Democracy, and its very unfortunate how we still run our Govt like that of the Military devoid of tolerance and freewill.BWahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! The coming together of persons of character! Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha! Tinubu (real names, kunle Adeleke) is a man of character and commitment to change! You have made me laughed so hard, i spilled my coffee! Toronto and chicago certificate forger wants to change Nigeria. What a joke. Well he wants to convert Niger Delta money into his pocket. But he has already failed. If he likes, let him merge with the devil, he will fail. ![]() |
sagombugo: That's why I will always respect any committed opposition politician as General Muhammadu Buhari,Asiwaju Tinubu,Ogbonnaya Onu,Chris Ngige or even Sani Yerima who have chosen to dare the fiery darts of the Federal might and have not waivered or staggered all these years on the other side of the divideBut all the people you listed are more corrupt than the PDP people and now more corrupt people from PDP have joined them. You are not serious at all! ![]() |
IAMBREEZY: it can ne'er be just a fabricated news.It is a fictional letter from one nobody. always follow the link. NL does not write articles. They copy and paste. So always follow the link to get the real gist |
donphilopus: Is it a sourceless info?? If NO, why would I not believe it??You continue to make a foool of yourself. You will never change. ![]() |
katordidi: exactly what mr mbeki said so u‘re ok with this cos there‘s 19 other planes right?Get this into your head. There is nothing in the article. It is all fake propaganda to make the launch look bad. This is the opposition way. It isnt new. We should be celebrating this event, not trying to bring it down. WHat do you benefit from trying to pull down everything your country does? Stop the negativity my friend |
eviblinks: @ theoctopus,How old are you? You talk like a kid. Go and read your books joor! |
Lord Varys: All in all tho, I admit APC has the momentum right now but they've played their cards too early, they showed their hand at the wrong time...Amaechi will be booted out by the Supreme Court next year, Mary Odili is working on her fellow judges to that effect,Lamido and Aliyu have made it clear they are still with the PDP while Saraki dillydallies on the position of KwaraThe only momemtum the opposisiton has is in the media. It doesnt translate to anything on the ground. The masses do not care about opposition momemtum. They will always vote along the factors that we know from time |
naptu2: This for me is the most important point. There will be checks. However, there must be informed participation by the masses in order for the checks to be effective. That's the tricky part. The reason all this is so laughable is that it assumes that the APC senators are different from the PDP senators. This is so laughable honestly. The APC senators and reps have been part and parcel of all the corruption since 1999. They have never objected to the immoral pay of the NASS. They have gladly and coolly collected their share. Nothing is going to change. They have never and will never fight for Nigerians. The opposition states like Lagos are the most corrupt in Nigeria |
Mynd_44: The FG has become so useless that the states are getting tired of waiting and decided to do their jobs. Now I know you are a clown. No one should ever take you serious. I have wasted my time. Good night! ![]() |
Mynd_44: I wonder where you stay in LagosI am 10 times more a Lagosian than you. Most of you making noise on NL are from Osun and Ekiti states. Lagos state indigenes are pissed with Tinubu and are just bidding their time. All the PDP or Labour needs is to produce a good candidate. From Badagry to Ekpe to Ikorodu, people are pissed. You can keep deluding yourself on NL, but you will be shocked in 2015 |
Lord Varys: I do agree with your point tho...GEJ would most likely win but will face an opposition dominated NASS, it would be good for our fledgling democracy thoThe opposition will never dominate the NASS. Most of you make one fundamental mistake. The opposition did not grow because of ideology. It grew because of the "North must return back to power" project. Once GEJ wins in 2015, these northerners will all return to the PDP enmass. |
kokoA: you are entitled to your opinion. As a northern christian I know GEJ's popularity has nosedived a great deal. I hope you know northern christians have no issues voting a muslim candidate, they will only refuse to vote Buhari. I can assure you that any credible muslim candidate from the north will sweep more than 50% of GEJ's supporters here. So in the event that APC picks a younger northerner, GEJ can kiss his minority christian votes goodbye. Then, let's talk about the north central.. Lol.. Niger is gone to APC 100%, Kwara is gone to APC 100 %, kogi is 50-50 chance for GEJ because the larger muslim population will vote a muslim candidate and the christians here don't really care about who wins, they are very comfortable with their muslim brothers, so GEJ will likely loose Kogi. Plateau is going to GEJ no doubt, while Benue is 50-50 chance, the stronghold of PDP there is the Idoma speaking area, but should David mark decides to go against GEJ, then Benue will tilt towards APC 70-30. In conclusion, if things continue like this then GEJ is either loosing come 2015 of we are heading for a run-off.You have no single clue bro. Boko Haram saga has ensured that the northern muslims and christians will never vote in block again. That is gone forever. Northern Christians will never vote a muslim in 2015. You seriously have no clue |
Mynd_44: Dude, Jimi Agbaje is not a PDP person. Don't you get it? The guy does not fight battles he cannot win. He has looked around and seen the work done so he chose to walk away. Even the LP where he once was can't talk of having himYou certainly have no clue about Lagos. Please go and find out what happened in the last LGA elections. If it was free and fair, the APC would have lost more than 50% of the LGAs. You have no clue what is coming in 2015. The only thing that will make PDP loose 2015 in Lagos is if they bring out a bad candidate. Lagos is there for the taking. The people are angry. Lagos is not bourdilon! If you think the Market women, the okada and keke peeps, the artisans that kai is messing up will vote Fashola again, then you need a brain check! Fashola is loathed in Lagos as an elitist gov. 2015 will shock you guys. The good thing is that you guys will not be able to rig again because there is a plan on the ground to checkmate that. You can take that to the bank |
Nnewi1stSon: You APC Sycophants are utterly shameless! It's just too obvious that even if Jonathan builds a tower of ivory under your noses, you'd still be 'Anti Gej'. Left to me, i think it's about time GEJ grew past you people's obstinacy, any region that chooses to grow backward should be allowed to grow backward! Bunch of oily heads!Bro, dont sweat it. It isnt Yorubas. It is just some APC bigots on NL. Yorubas are pissed with APC. I live in Lagos and I know for sure. People are angry. |
Mynd_44: Lmao. This is the great plan by the PDP at getting Lagos? A cosmetic show on the Lagos Ibadan eexpressway after 4 years of neglect? Okay I am watching. The contract for that road has never been awarded. Stop spewing lies. The road was formerly concessioned to Babalakin who did nothing for 2 years and the concession was revoked. The same Babalakin that is trying to hound Stella Oduah! |
Good riddance to bad rubbish. Now, PDP and GEJ can focus on Nigeria. This is a big blessing for PDP! |
donphilopus: On what basis?? Stop being a nitwit. On the basis that he is trivializing the death threat on a fellow human being just because of partisan and tribal hatred. Very sad disposition and mindset |
berem: Action packaged drama. I don't buy this at all! When she is dead, I know you will buy it then and still even accuse her of faking her death abi? I pity you and your gang |
nerodenero: I don't think the President is ready to terminate Stella's appointment. Her case seems too complex and has attracted too many sentiments. Why would he sack her just because some people want to blackmail her? What has she done wrong? With all the calumny the paid press has been throwing at her, they still havent shown what she did wrong. So why would the president sack her just to make them happy. They are inconsequential! |
fijiano202: I couldnt stop myself from laughing for the past 10mins after reading this,do they think we are fulls, any one that believes this political script should be stoned to death, they are trying to justify their crimeYes I think you are a foool! |
ba7man: Dora was targeted for doing interfering with illegal drug importation and manufacture, thus that explains her enemies.Stella is under probe for messing up the aviation mafia. She has been under threat for a long time now. Did you not read ffk's write ups? She is not guilty of anything but her transformation of the aviation sector. She did not inflate anything. She did not embezzle any money. The same people that want her out now want to snuff her out because the blackmail ploy has failed. They will surely fail |
The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have apologised to former Gov. Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto State for failing to intimate him of their recent visit to incumbent Gov. Aliyu Wamakko. A seven-man delegation, led by former Gov. John Oyegun of Edo and Gov. AbdulAziz Yari of Zamfara, visited Sokoto on Sunday to apologise to Bafarawa as well as APC leaders and members in the state. The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that the APC national leadership had on Oct. 29 attended the inauguration of the Sokoto State University, Sokoto, without intimating Bafarawa. Similarly, the party leaders, led by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, Chief Bisi Akande and Chief Bola Tinubu, had on Nov. 6 visited the state, to woo Wamakko to defect to APC, without informing Bafarawa and APC members in the state. “The National leadership of the party understands the disaffection caused by their mistakes. “Our visit here today is to make peace and offer our regrets that what happened was a mistake of the head, not the body,’’ Oyegun said. The ex-governor said that the national leadership of the party appreciated the crucial role which Bafarawa played in the formation of APC. Oyegun also urged the party members in the state to be “gallant and receptive”. Also speaking, Yari pledged that such mistakes would not be allowed to recur. “Everybody is welcome into APC and the party needs more members to fight the battle ahead in 2015, successfully,’’ he, however, said. Responding, Bafarawa said: “We have accepted the apology of the national leadership of the party. “We have to behave like democrats and nothing is impossible in politics,” he added. He, however, said that the APC members in the state should be allowed to “solve our local problems locally’’. Bafarawa stressed that the APC in the state was not stopping anybody from joining the party. “Doing otherwise is unconstitutional and Gov. Wamakko is welcome. There is nothing that is impossible. “However, nobody should externally interfere with our local problems and the rules of the game must be followed duly,” he added. http://www.punchng.com/news/apc-apologies-to-bafarawa-over-visit-to-gov-wamakko/ |
**external debt hits over N100billion in just few months. The Imo state government have been declared unfit to borrow more more money by the Nigerian Apex bank, the CBN. Few months ago, the Debt Management agencies frown at the rising debt profile of Governor Rochas Okorocha's government and the apparent less ability to of the state to pay back these loans in the next 25 years. PEAK of borrowing for the state. CBN stated that Imo state is owing over 100 billion Naira and that is the reason Apex bank placed them on the "No Borrowing list', meaning that they will no longer borrow from any bank in Nigeria and no approval will be given to them for external loans. - Hope For Nigeria. http://savannahreports.com/local/item/146-imo-state-banned-from-borrowing-more-loans |
olawalemanog: Amaechi is too refined and polished to involve himself in this kind of rubbish. The person that i know can do this, and who, unfortunately, is in Education Ministry, is Wike. He is the person that can be this petty, not Amaechi that i know.Amaechi refined and polished? Bwahahahahaha! You definitely talking about the Amaechi that lives close to your street, not the gov of rivers state. Any rivers man will LOL at your statement. The guy is a thug! ![]() |
take dat: Astounding hypocrisy. Your arguments are far separated from reality but knowing that you are a Proponent of 5 is greater than 27, 16 more than 19. Groveler of an appendage of power who chastised an elected Governor publicly, blocked major roadsYou are talking nonsense as usual. If it is 5 against 27, why has Amaechi gotten the house of reps to take over the function of the state's assembly? If the folks in Amaechi's favour are 27, what does he have to fear? You seat in Lagos there and claim you know what is happening in Rivers state... ![]() |
take dat: Are you expecting the Supreme Court to 'review' its judgment? It was the Supreme Court who ruled that it was the PDP that contested and won the guber election of 2007. Swearing-in Amaechi in October 2007 still does not change the fact that the actual swearing-in day was May29, after all, Omehia who governed from May 29 till October was PDP.You are really serious about what you typed? You think the supreme court will give a judgement because of what they think you will complain about on NL? You are really deluded! ![]() The article you posted is the opinion of a lawyer. There is no where "legal scholars" met to decide what their opinion is and even if they meet, it will have no bearing on the decision of the supreme court judgement. Legal scholars ko, baby lawyers ni! ![]() |
take dat: Guy, why you dey police me up and down? What is the lie in my post? Is it that NANS isn't a pay-for-hire group? Your reasoning does not meet the basic standard of fairness and soundness. You accuse me of 'partisan bias' yet I have neither seen nor read a post of yours where you have equally castigated his(Amaechi) antagonists. Abi na ony Amaechi be the problem? Wike, Dame Jonathan and Mbu are saints to you!Are Wike, Dame and Mbu the aggresors? Who started fighting others around him? Does it not speak volumes that Wike, Dame, Omeiha, Odili, All the Rivers traditional rulers, House of assembly members, local government chairmen, etc, etc are all against Amaechi? Why is it that it is only the APC crew and the rebel G7 govs, who are obviously playing the "anything to spite GEJ" card that support Amaechi? Amaechi is the one fighting with his own people. The whole blame of this saga is on him. The people of Rivers will never come to his defence, because he is on his own |
