Itel put something inside a phone, I took those things out one by one and broke them down, saying the truth about each and everyone of them and yet you're here saying I am "spoiling the brand"

Any brand that is afraid of scrutiny and in depth analysis should be watched with a sharp eye.
Any brand that doesn't like the truth should not be trusted. (I didn't name names o)

The itel p36 is the newest and latest device in the itel lineup.

There are two variants
1. The P36
2. The P36 Pro LTE

Its major specs are listed below

Technology

2G Network Bands. GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2 (NO 4G, but the pro version has 4g )

Display Type :- IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors

Size. :- 6.5-inches, 88.9 cm2 (~82.2% screen-to-body ratio)

Resolution:- 720 x 1600 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~272 ppi density)
Touch Screen:- Yes, up to 5 fingers

Operating System:- Android 10 (Go Edition)
Chipset:- UniSoC Spreadtrum SC7731E (chai )
CPU:- Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 (32nm)

(processor won't be battery efficient. Processors with sizes higher than 30nm will have problems with over heating without anything doing the phone. This particular Unisoc chipset is outdated and even dumped/discontinued by the company making it. Presently, Unisoc is developing a 5g 5nm chip for computers )

GPU:- ARM Mali T820 MP1

Mali GPUs are one of the worst GPUs in the smartphone market. Casual games like Brothers in Arms 3 (2015 game) or Pubg or Modern Combat 5 will seriously lag on this device. Coupled with the weak 1.3ghz CPU, playing MODERN games (emphasis on MODERN) on this device will be a nightmare

RAM (Memory):- 1 GB (wtf, 1gb ram phone in 2020?? Well if you want 2gb ram, be ready to add more money to the phones price and get the p32 pro )

Storage Capacity:- 16 GB
Card Slot:- Yes, up to 32 GB via microSD card
Phonebook:- Practically Unlimited
Call Record:- Practically Unlimited

The itel p36 also sports a 5000mah battery, a 10W fast charging feature (slow fast charging. Ironic if you ask me) in both varients and sports 8mp front and back camera.

The Price?

Itel P36:- $79 (#31,000)
Itel P36 LTE pro:- $113 (#43,000)

PERSONAL VERDICT/OPINION/RAMBLINGS

Is the itel p36 worth your money?

NO

Are there better devices you can get for that price??

YES

A 35k phone with 1gb ram, low CPU, low GPU, low camera (8mp) is just ridiculous.

As for me, MIUI is one of the best UIs out there.
Features that are in MIUI 8 are just being introduced in android 10. MIUI is one of the best out there, others are Samsung OneUI and Apples UI.

HiOS(tecno) and XOS (infinix) are just mediocre.

No upgradable features
No new thing after you unbox the device

1. Who dash them global status? Bruh they aren't even in top 100 globally and the Chinese don't even know they exist, not because they're "too good" but because they're too pathetic to get along with the times.

2. There's entry level devices as low as that but are solid and you contradicted yourself... Which smartphone camera fades after 6 months eh? All so to upgrade... smh.

3. Big battery but horrible software+a power inefficient SoC would make it feel like you're using a 4000mah battery or lower for the average user. Also I get same 10hrs SOT or more on my device with 3500mah on web surfing and occasional YouTube. La big battery est useless

4. Updates are there to fix vulnerabilities in the OS, ignore them at your own peril. Keep believing that hackers got nothing on you. They're getting smarter and don't give a damn if you're as poor as a church rat, provided you got data they can steal n sell.

5. Same carlcare that rips off customers, especially the ignorant ones? Rather take it to a trusted technician in computer village and pay 2/5 or 1/5 the asking price from carlcare. Plus a guaranteed fix but since it's Transsion and their knack of using tokunbo parts...you get the idea (or not).

Won't buy till they upgrade, stop seeing their customers as potential cash cows and follow protocols....

Bro, If I bless you with a Redmi 7A, and I teach you all the hidden gestures and navigation on MIUI, you won't go back to Transsion... I know you'll still argue but it's a fact!
Meanwhile, Redmi 7A used to be a little below 30k before the current increase in dollar rate. You know what, It will get a major *Android update* from 9 to 10. Now point to a Transsion device of less than 30k (even 40k sef) that has or that will get a major Android update.
