Other brands didn't consider Nigeria because they see us as poor church rat
Say wah?
Church rat?
Blame your leaders for making most Nigerians poor and unable to afford those devices right from time.
Shameful to think the same edoairways who preaches against shaming other phone brands is here busy accusing them of seeing us as poor church rats.
Those android phones were expensive cause the Nigerian leaders made life shit for us.
They made the economy bad and made us poor. Bad exchange rates led to the perceived expensive prices back then
Where as outside this country, small children were using these phones like water.

Stop thinking like a poor man.

Nobody sticks with tecno, infinix and itel
Too mediocre to use as a literate human
When you use like two to three tecno devices, you begin to feel that something's missing in that device. When you now taste the OG OEMs.... Na then you go sabi
But if your FIRST PHONE na tecno, you won't grab cheesy

Tecno is the main reason many young Nigerians were able to experience Android years ago .The Galaxy ace was 45k at the time while the Tecno m3 was 15k.The other manufacturers have now caught up so obviously Tecno needs to buckle up and compete.
When will you stop sleeping on the past and wake up to the future?
They made android cheap for us, so fuckinh what?
Other countries used cheap android phones too, no be only tecno make cheap android

Without them, we would've even used android. And our smartphone market won't be as stunted and unreal as it is today

I am free from Transsion
That's the primary goal.
If them like, make them open am

Brand bashing is normal but in this case, it's special as some are coming off the brand after doing their homework on the brand (Transsion) and are lashing out which I understand.

This one would be hard to do. Tecno is the proverbial black sheep in the eyes of them enlightened here in Nigeria.

Same abuse and rants was what made me have an interest in xiaomi phones in the first place. Sure it's unethical but it's what has piqued the interest of most Nigerians.

The average Nigerian believes that the bigger the number, the better.
And I don't believe in teaching/learning without detailed examples.
@bolded is just wrong. The hell would be attracted about an analysis without mentioning a brand?
Atheistandproud did such analysis with examples and I truly enjoyed it cos it was fully educative, Gsmarena mentions alternatives after each review, be it post was sponsored or not.
If it were me, I'd laugh, do my research, call out the brand in another thread and insult you for insulting my intelligence.
lol
Phones / Re: Transsion Phones, Their Supposed Lies And The Major Problem by TheOdd1sOut: 10:34am On Jun 06, 2020
All I know is that the ignorant always puts up resistance when they're about to be set free from their ignorance.
Watch them defending something they know nothing about.
Ask an average xiaomi user in Nigeria why Xiaomi is good, they will tell you about their good 2020 devices and how they have been good right from time.
Ask a Transsion user why Transsion is good and they will be telling you about old story of 2013.

Shows that Transsion has no new innovations

There are Samsung, Apple, xiaomi, Lenovo Nokia and the rest of the phones you mentioned in Nigeria. Go and get them if you need any.

Their are new entrants of phones into Nigerian markets from China. Umidigi, olla, maxphone, and many more, why can't you mention them too you pretenders. Stop all this mediocrity.
I'm using Huawei for your information.
What is this one saying.

I'm happy you see where most Xiaomi folks are coming from.

I've been in that Xiaomi thread long before Xiaomi entered Nigeria. I had to order my device directly from China.

People need to understand that most vet Xiaomi lovers are mostly tech enthusiast who buy Xiaomi devices for the hardware and developer support largely due to its SOC, not necessarily for MIUI (though its an awesome OS) as xiaomi's mobile div even started as an enthusiast brand. My 3yr old retired Redmi Note 4 is still in good condition and running Android 10 on derpfest OS (not MIUI). While the newer Xiaomi fan base are the newly awoken, not-so-techie group who have been awoken to the knowledge that their hard earned money could get them a much better device from Xiaomi collection of devices (and other brands like realme, Huawei, etc). It is not about Xiaomi as a brand but more about VALUE FOR MONEY. Both group of Xiaomi "fans", however, are not paid marketers.

Personally, I started avoiding Xiaomi/ phone discussions on this platform esp in the thread due to the back and forth bashing and cyber wars btwn Xiaomi and other brands (which I find funny because Xiaomi is the 4th largest mobile producer in the world ie the comparison isn't fair).

People should be allowed to use whatever device that catches their fancy.
Is your RN 4 for sale?

Boot it to recovery.
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik cache partition

Reboot the device

If this fails, you have to completely reload the ROM using SP flash tools.

But if I added the list, Transsion fans will cry for my blood.

Because I am not one sided and close minded like some people usually do.
I am open minded and attack both parties. If Xiaomi bleeps up, I criticize them too

You Transsion promoters have a problem in distinguishing between demarketing and criticism.

Its obvious. Very obvious.

Baba stop focusing on the messenger and set your eyes on the message. Imagine, saying the truth about a phone actually demarkets this company.

I am no marketer. I am a simple man. I see a phone, i break it down, review it and decide if its worth peoples money or not. I don't have time to market, I am not bounded by this "ethical marketing" sham you Transsion lackeys carried on their foreheads everywhere.

As you can see, I gave my PERSONAL opinion and didn't ask anybody not to buy the device
