K OvertheTop: Madam, I didn't call you a struggling mum.
I am telling you a Single mum of 4 kids (even if she is not struggling) will Never spend 700k on Upkeep You women know how to be economical when you are spending from YOUR OWN pocket
BUT becomes very inconsiderate when a MAN is in the Picture. you will want to Exhaust his resources to the extent he won't be able to take care of himself or his personal responsibilities That is Wickedness of the highest order
2ndly, from your speeches, you are not a big Fan of one spending Within their means (Na just mouth) In fact , i think you are capable to telling for your husband to take massive loans to satisfy lavish spending like the Op wife
3rdly, if you read the Ops complaint, you will see he is becoming financially stained and is seriously worried that if he continues with this spending style, he will be financially ruined..
You and the Op wife are in the same Boat. you will push and Push your Husband not minding if he gets HBP trying to meet up with Outrageous Bills.
eventually, if such a Man dies of HBP, you will suddenly become single mother with 4 kids....THAT BECOMES VERY ECONOMICAL BECAUSE A MAN IS NO LONGER IN THE PICTURE. and you are now spending from your Pocket
That is wickedness. |

OvertheTop: If you are a Single MUM of 4 kids, Can you spend 700k Monthly for upkeep?
Of course, you can't But once a man(Husband) is in the Picture....You want to spend much more than That!
That's Wickedness of the highest Order! So the children of A rich man should live like the children of a struggling mum? Because they are living like that? The man is capable, let his children enjoy the good life. Poor man go call am waste....lmao Since you love comparing, why not compare his family with that of Dangote? Abi na only poor people you dey use take do example? I'm a big fan of people living within their means. If the man can give his kids a good lifestyle, it is not a bad thing. Btw he never complained of his wife buying bonestraight or worldly frivolous items for herself with the money. Anyway if e reach your turn, give your children stream water to drink in order to save cost. |

Absuchat: Some men mumu shaa. Even if you be Dangote, how can you spend over 22k per day for a family of 4? Not family of 4 He has 4 kids Let's assume the family has a live in house help, that's total of 7 We have 22,000 daily according to your calculations Breakfast Bread-3000 Milo-1500 Milk-1500 Lunch Rice-3000 Tomatoes-1000 Pepper and onions-800 Other ingredients including protein-2500 Dinner Small portion of okra soup sapa edition 5000 Swallow-1500 Snacks for 4 kids to take to school Sapa edition 1500 Water Pure water 350 Fuel for gen and car.... Do your calculations before leading this man astray!!! I just hope this man does not take the comments from people too seriously |

ruffhandu: Hello people, Please I need some advice. We live in PH, and have 4 kids. The oldest is 10 while the youngest is 6. I give my wife 700k every month, and this includes general upkeep and maintenace and fuelling of our car (Lexus 330). I don't drive the car (I dey leg, while she uses it to run around, which includes school runs and her business).
I no dey chuk eye for her business. Bu I am getting frustrated as she still makes me believe that the money is not enough. I pay electricity bill (band A) and house rent (3m pa) yet every now and then she puts bills on my head. It is driving me crazy.
When I tell her to list out her expenses so I plan with her, she picks offence. I am really tired of the whole thing and don't know how else to approach the issue without causing too much problem. I know some men whose salaries are 250k-300k in PH, yet they are surviving. Dear poster, As a mum of 3 kids and a help Cost of living is soooo expensive 700k is a big money that does little to nothing in this economy. My standard of living is not high, we are a little below average. We no dey drink bottle water, na pure water we dey drink. We don't give our kids freshly squeezed juice, we give packaged low budget juice. We don't take scrambled eggs alongside our tea...except on special days. We don't have a car to fuel but we do have generator to run. But if you calculate the money spent, you'd be shocked. Don't let these people talk down on your wife's efforts. They castigate her for giving freshly squeezed juice and giving refined clean water to the kids ....and you are not seeing it as poverty mentality? As a mum myself, I aspire to offer my kids such healthy lifestyle...who no like better thing? Why we strive to be better is to be able to offer our children the best possible. It will be a shame, if you can afford such for your family and you don't!!!!! If I have the funds, I'd do that and more!! Don't compare yourself to others because they live off 50k monthly....or would you like to be in such level so you go follow they "enjoy" wetin dem dey "enjoy"??. The only time I'd be concerned is if you can no longer afford to give your family such good life. But if you can and you think its a waste, then you should be ashamed of yourself (respectfully). |

frozen70: I think you need to talk sense to her, else she may loose it all
700k for monthly upkeep and she can't show you how much she saved from that huge amount per month
You need to check her circle of friends Lmao You people are not in touch with reality or maybe una no get family to feed, that's why you don't know the money involved Anyway let me just be reading and hope this man is not unfortunate to take advice from people who know how much just breakfast cost |

Thanks to everyone who has commented on this post, grateful . OK quick one, I have posted all I know to the best of my knowledge, based on a few trips to the market or passing through to go somewhere. I don't have the monopoly of knowledge hence can't know everything and everywhere. I'd rather we post any enquiries we need here and others can help to give suggestions or quote me here I'll respond. I've had a few calls from people wch I don't have a problem with. But please don't call me at wrong hours or just call me up to demand information from me, it's not really proper. I actually have my number in my profile for business. You can send a whatsapp it's ok too but I still do not think there is need because I have made a comprehensive explanation of places to get stuff and others have chipped in one or two other tips. I can't physically Take you round THE market or start describing places I don't know in the market or have been to. Thank you I’m interested in buying rubber slippers in carton and bag quantity Please any idea where to go |

Shop rent with all comission paid @ 150k 4. Frozen scale @3k 5. Cutlass and handglove @2k 6.Cutting stool and other furniture @8k 7. Stationery for book keeping etc.@1k 8. Shop renovations including wiring, painting etc. #20k
Total:#434,500 Though as things are now costly at present, budget #500,000
Reach me if you are interested for other information regarding this.
I will also add the second business this first one gave birth to here...
Note this important info When I began in 2017, I didn't know a jack about the business. Fear of failure crowded my mind but I learnt from a church member doing the business(fulcrum of succeeding is to be mentored).
I also ask around from other sellers how they fix their prices, get their supplies etc (secret of succeeding part2)
Today, I have my 9-5 job yet have someone there who manage it (you can't be cheated in what you know too). I balance my account daily after returning from work (book keeping is a way to track your success).
Throughout the lockdown till this moment, people never stopped buying even when I'm at home, they keep calling, I do online delivery too for them. They make transfer, once I get it, I send my logistic guy to deliver to their doorstep ( advantage of integrating tech to your business)
Lastly, the business is expanding as I have added other things like, groundnut oil in gallons, palm oil in gallons, seasoning ingredient in packs, semovita, wheat, rice in bags etc as they complement the biz( search for complementors when the biz is growing, hear feedbacks from customers as they are pionters to your next level)
I wish you all the best in your search. Are you still in this? Can I contact you? |

Galacious1: This country ain’t getting any easier. Seeing a lot of folks still job hunting is heartbreaking. I was once a job seeker, and the experience wasn’t funny. Sapa and depression are a deadly combination. So, I‘ve decided to assist in a little way.
There are several ways to make legitimate money online that many of us aren’t taking advantage of. If done right, domain flipping, affiliate marketing, copywriting, blogging, online surveys, and Amazon KDP are sure ways to make decent money from home.
Until I lost my job in May 2020, I never took making money online seriously. If I could make 2 million naira in a month, you too can. Check my KDP story here https://www.nairaland.com/6922012/how-novice-started-making-money
My Plan this Month: I want to train 20 persons that are ready to work hard and sacrifice sleep to attain financial freedom this year. Meanwhile, it is not a get-rich-quick scheme but a gradual wealth-building program that will involve your input to get output. The more you input, the better your output.
Now, what is this training about? You may ask. It is self-publishing on Amazon. Amazon is the largest online store in the world and books are one major demand on the platform. What we will be doing is writing and publishing books from the comfort of our home while we get our royalties in United States Dollars (USD) here in Nigeria. I will be teaching all I know about online publishing and how to start making money from KDP. VENUE FOR TRAINING: Whatsapp FEE: N20,000 (for each participant) DURATION: Until you start making decent sales. DATE OF COMMENCEMENT: 8pm, Saturday 15 January 2021
CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTRATION: As soon as I get the twenty persons or 14 January 2021 (whichever comes first).
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TRAINING: 1. Laptop with internet access 2. Dedication and patience 3. Ability to ask questions when in doubt 4. A good command of English
OUR FOCUS: We will be focusing strictly on NON-FICTION writing. Well researched book titles will be given to each trainee to write on.
Note: You don't need to be a writer to do this.
Interested? Please send a message to thewordpubbooks(at)gmail(dot)com with the Subject INTERESTED plus your name and Whatsapp number.

DollarBuddy: So there's this cute 20 year-old Yoruba babe who lives with her elder brother, a senior Gynecologist in a government owned hospital in my area. She is so down to earth and very respectful.
To cut the long story short, this Yoruba girl has been entering my eyes like Omo detergent since the year 1241 AD
As I no want to talk too much, or to be seen as a player, I arranged for us to meet at an open space, an eatery. When she showed up, we only had a short chat before I told her straight up, that i want to marry her. If you see as babe shock ba
Anyways, I mean it. I'm 36 and the Yoruba girl would be 21 by next year September. She has agreed that I come to greet her brother. And I'll be doing that pretty soon.
She is just my spec. She is very brilliant and voluptuously curvy. She'll be graduating from the University by next year.
I hate to waste a lady's time, Godwilling as soon as she graduates by September next year, we're tying the knots.
Congratulations please treat her well And marriage take a lot of team work The 1-5yrs might be rocky because both of you are still trying to adjust to this new life together….so a lot of patience, love and team work is required. chinene1: Hi, you can try Lagos Island market or trade fair. Just be sure you don't act like you are new to the market so they don't rip you off. For trade fair, Rivers plaza is the area to source for cosmetics in wholesale. Thats where I shop mostly unless I need some special items. They also sell perfumes and hair care products opposite.
Start with more low end items and fewer high end items so you don't tie down your capital. Items that will sell fast depends on the location of your shop so do a survey of similar shops around and ask your family and friends who live close by what they are likely to buy often.
Hope this helps. Hello nne I just came across your trend and you are inspiring How’s selling on jiji and Jumia going? I sell footwears… mostly on Instagram I’m trying to figure out more channels to sell out Sales is slow these period |

Successdude: PAUSE : who doesn't ?
This is a new brainchild (whatsapp group) of the admin for the sole purpose of getting sellers to meet buyers and vice versa.
Partnering with an agency that runs errand for people, there is always need for various goods and sevices. And sometimes they arebt found. So I had the idea.
These prospects are going to be referred to the whatsapp group created for sellers, just like a ready market. And great an idea, it becomes a win-win, especially to you all sellers.
Can you supply your products within or nationwide, either of them ? No problem. But if you can deliver nationwide, its an added advantage as you may not know where the referred prospect might be who needs your product.
The is just a brainchild to make buyers and sellers meet.
To join the group , link is in my signature.. OR indicate with your WhatsApp contact and I will add you.
May The Odds Be In Your Favour Sounds interesting. Please add me up |
