I'm not sure anyone has this. Just keep disturbing ukvi with calls, then ask if a decision has been made or not, they can check. So you can know the next step.

Please anyone with UKVI Pretoria number not UK but pretoria . Priority for dependant was done 7th October up til now nothing. It so tiring and UKVI London not encouraging the case been escalated yet nothing.

I would go with the suggestion to reapply and in the new application state the reasons why you got rejected earlier especially if you are sure you never received a call from them and then if you can check if your phone number is correct also stating the reference number of the calls you made to ukvi trying to sort the issue. For me, this is the best option especially if you still have your bank statement as it is with the money in your account and then use priority service.

I believe this option is better as administrative review would take months before a resolution.

Thank you for your reply. However, if I reapply, do you think that would solve the phone call brouhaha ? I have spent numerous sleepless nights just to prepare for the interview that I never got called for.

What if the next case worker can’t reach me again? I’m thinking of the AR so that we can address the phone call issue once and for all.

VAC - Abuja. I had two UK visit visa refusals and one France visa (tourist) refusal. Thank God it ended in praise. Wishing everyone who is waiting for their visa, success.

When someone has received a decision mail, what's next? We have seen cases here where for example people get decision mails and suddenly don't hear anything for days and sometimes weeks and when they call to escalate they get it the next day or same day. Also by the time they checked when the visa was stamped or approved, they ser it's either same day decision mail was sent or even few days before decision mail was sent.

What we are not sure of is why that happens.

Factly, they need you to see your decision ASAP to give UK more money via Ticket, Accommodation etc.

Call UKVI to escalate it. I believe yours would have been ready a long time ago

I did my biometric on 22nd of September too

I got decision mail since October 1
Since then I havnt gotten any other mail and it’s not yet transferred to VAC

Please do not make this error, something similar happened to me. I saw a closer date on primetime and chose it and paid I think 37k, they would give you a specific time on that day, let's say 8am and then if you don't get there by 8am, you would be given 30mins grace after that, it is all gone and they won't attend to you. In my case I had to now pay for walk-in also known as Flexi appointment and that's additional 42k.

So my advice pick whatever date you can see in the normal appointment schedule even if it is a date in November or December and then do walk-in anytime you want and you would pay 42k at the centre. Do you understand?

28/Sept/20 I called UKVI to enquire about the status of my application and they confirmed that decision hasn't been made yet
07/Oct/20 I called again again and this time they confirmed that decision has been made
08/Oct/20 I got a mail from TLS on that my travel document is ready and has been sent by courier to my given address.
09/Oct/20 I got my passport with my visa on it.

VISA WAS GRANTED ON 02/OCT/2020

I was previously refused US Student Visa (twice) and also Canada Study/Visit Visa (Twice).

I pray everyone hoping to get their visa will receive their good news soon by the special Grace of GOD!

Yes, on the day of your biometric they would have given you a form to fill if you told them you would be collecting for a dependent but if not you can call TLS to know what other option you have.

I don't see anything stopping her from applying if she meets the requirements and you have all the supporting documents like marriage certificate etc. I'm not sure if they would want to know why you both didn't apply together though.

I decided to continue with the online lectures after receiving my visa and the school has given their go ahead. Is it alright to apply for my spouse(she will be sponsoring herself) while am yet to travel?

Use a dollar card if you have one, if you don't have you can fund someone else's dollar account and use it or use Paga. Search through the search bar here as this has been treated several times here.

For flexi, pay online.

For priority, i have noticed based on people's experiences here it's better to pay online than paying at the centre.
