The dancehall star and his baby mama Barbara welcomed a baby girl earlier today in the United States.

The couple already have a 3 year old daughter Emmanuella Perere Timaya, who is in the US with her mom. The proud papa made the announcement of the latest addition to his growing family on Instagram. He wrote,

Last night in a documentary Future decide to speak on why he broke up with Ciara. He rapper explains that after experiencing poor album sales he found himself riding around in a Bentley in Los Angeles, away from friends and family and that’s when he came to the realization he had “put himself in a situation he didn’t feel responsible for because he had taken the advice of other people.” He went on to say he felt the need to go back home to Atlanta to record music and that’s when he decided to tell Ciara.He added that he really wanted to marry Ciara, but she was rushing him and he did not want a big televised wedding so he called it off.

Chocolat Royale Reopens After NAFDAC Closure For Using 11 Year Old Expired Products. Say They’ve Learnt Their Lesson.

Upscale Lagos, patisserie and restaurant Chocolat Royale reopened earlier this month, a month after it was sensationally shut down for using expired food products, some of which had been expired for up to 11 years!

News of the restaurants unsanitary habits brought about wide spread condemnation from the public and praise for the National Food & Drug Admin, who have now given approval for the restaurant to reopen. Chocolate Royale’s chairman is Mr. Amin Moussalli (pictured above with D’Banj last month), he also owns Cool FM, Nigeria Info, Wazobia FM stations & Cool TV.

In an interview with Encomium Magazine the GM of the restaurant, Mr. Elie Yahchouchy which has three branches located at Etim Inyang, Victoria Island, The Palms Shopping Mall & Lekki Phase 1 said they have now learnt their lesson. He also alluded to the fact that NAFDAC was aware they were using expired products.

 

When asked what happened, he said


NAFDAC raised some issues and obviously they couldn’t carry on with the investigations without closing Chocolat Royale. So, we allowed them to do their work which led to a resolution of the matter after they realized it wasn’t really what they were told. We couldn’t have disposed the said items without the authority of NAFDAC.

He also added,

We’ve definitely learnt our lessons. We now do double checks. Yes, it’s true that some of our customers would be naturally psychologically affected by the development, but Chocolat Royale still stands by its equality and integrity.

Last week there was a video leaked showing entrepreneur & socialite Yetunde “Bustline” Oduwole crying her guts out over losing the then love of her life – Nollywood actor Babtunde Bernard aka Baba Tee. He said he never took their relationship seriously and she accused him of releasing the crying video.

I usually do not comment on people’s private issues but I have been following with growing trepidation a video of a dear friend of mine in her lowest moments. When it was posted on FB it became a public issue. My friend had sent a tearful heartfelt message to the then love of her life months back….. Mind you naked face no wig …. A just as I am video. Okay if her heartfelt message did not hit home was it justified for the guy to release it on face book? Not only that, I am reading interviews granted by him cursing her out talking about her private parts and revealing her private life on face book? As if that was not enough his current heart throb is granting interviews calling my friend all kinds of names and posting photos of bank tellers where her boo is sending money to only God knows where. This started out as a cute crying video but the responses by parties involved is gutter level. Mortification is what I’m feeling right now wondering “when will this stop”? Is this how women are supposed to empower each other? Is this how a man honors a woman whom he once claimed to love? Do we understand that there are children in this picture who can read and how do we expect kids who once looked up to a man to feel after they read this by him about their mom. My friend here is no Johnny just come. She is a respected PR guru who has cut her teeth on the job. Her organization recognizes and celebrates excellence by everyday people around the world. She must be celebrated and not diminished. Recognize and appreciate greatness thus pave the way to yours. I am calling an immediate stop to this embarrassment. This is when we all as mothers and sisters who know parties involved need to shut it down real quick. There are things women must not say to each other within the boundaries of self control and respect. Take those video off and shut this down. Thank you.

The “love turned sour” drama between Nollywood actor Baba Tee & his ex Yetunde “Bustline” Oduwole is unending.

It all started with a crying video of Yetunde Bustline which went viral two days ago. [WATCH HERE IF YOU MISSED IT]. Then yesterday actor Baba Tee (Tunde Bernard) who is known in the Yoruba movie genre gave an interview in which he put his ex on blast [READ HERE] and last night Yetunde Bustline has taken to her personal Facebook to address “the crying video”

She says the video isn’ recent and has nothing to do with the fact that he moved on and deleted her photos from his Facebook page. She claims rather that the video was made in December/January and sent to him after they had a rift. She also calls him out for uploading the video (he says he didn’t).

FOR THE RECORDS AND FOR CLARITY….

Whoa! Thanks to family, friends and fans of Bustline all over the world who have been bombarding me with calls and messages about the “Crying Video” Lol. I appreciate you all and at this point; I think you all deserve some clarification.

First of all; do not be scared; I’ve not gone bunkers. Lol. I couldn’t have gone on YouTube to post a video of myself in that kind of situation. Moreso; I wouldn’t want you all to catch me without my wig; and with such an ugly face ?

Now, the video was sent to Tunde Bernard sometime in December/January when we had a rift and I decided to pack it all up. Hey; I’m not gonna come up here and say I don’t cry; I do cry; we all do in our closet. Not a big deal. It was my means of communicating with him at the time because I didn’t want to talk to him directly and wanted my words to sink in. Well; he obviously kept the video safe with an evil thought that he would one day use it against me and get me embarrassed. But the table turned in my favour like magic! So far I got more heartfelt messages from well meaning people the world over than the embarrassment it was intended to cause. I guess his intention bounced in his face. To God be the glory!!!

January to me is a long time ago. I have since moved on; and knowing me; I would not sit in a corner for too long. I’ve got spring in my steps and that makes me unusually unstoppable. Though my cry doesn’t last that long; but believe me; it detoxicates me and makes me feel better. Yes big girls cry too. Just like the rest of you.

Please this isn’t my current situation and I’m not crazy enough to post such a video. But if there is any award to dole out to me; going by this video; it’s the crier of the year award. Lol. That was some good one! People close to me know me to shed tears for even the people I don’t know. I shed tears even when watching depressing movies; despite the fact that i know it’s make-believe, It’s the soft part of me that God has not given me the grace to hide.

If you think you have tarnished my image by uploading and sharing a video that was meant to be between you and I, and you are there mocking and leaving nasty comments; I’ve got a message for you: God is watching and would definitely pay each person with their own coin. I won’t wish you the pain behind those tears; I’ll simply let God judge you. Simple.

Bustline is still your sassy and snazzy girl who could cry and who could stay strong at the same time. By the way; I still looked pretty in the video even amidst those tears….never mind my hair though; it was blooming at the time??Maybe when next I cry; I’ll apply make up cos you never know where it would be uploaded….looolzzz.

I thank you all for your love and concern. You have all been awesome and supportive. You are all family! And I’m sorry if I haven’t picked your call. I couldn’t have picked them all.

And to Tunde Bernard who thinks uploading such a private video would depress me, you are hella’ wrong you know! This babe is flyiiiiiing!!

My take: The publicity from this can’t hurt either of them if they use it to their advantage. Before this whole fiasco I had never heard about either of them but with this trust me thousands now know them.

For popular London based socialite & business woman 44 year old Yetunde “Bustline” Oduwole she expressed her heartbreak by releasing a video of her crying profusely and cursing out her ex, 35 year old Yoruba movie comedian and actor Babatunde Bernard popularly known as Baba Tee.

The video was reportedly filmed by Yetunde by herself in her closet. In the makeup and wig free video all you see is HEARTBREAK! My heart cries for her!

The pair reportedly separated last year, but the reason Yetunde was shedding tears in this self filmed video is because her ex husband had not only moved on to another woman but deleted all of Yetunde Bustline’s photos from his Facebook account. I hear that she recorded the video and sent it to him, it is yet to be determined who released the embarrasing videos but it wasn’t the heartbroken Yetunde Bustline.

They all told me that it must be that you’re quarrelling with me. Why should you embarrass me this much? What did I do to you? Is it a crime to date you? It’s no secret that the Majek Fashek we have now is a far cry from the man who gave us smash hits like “Send Down The Rain, So Long Too Long & Majek Fashek In New York” back in the 1980s/90s. Not only is he older but he is now gaunt with rotted teeth…reports of drug addiction are said to have caused his current appearance.

Last month a Nigerian blogger told of his encounter with Majek Fashek. He wrote about the man he described as a “loony figure”

On the reports that he is broke, he replied

The IO Hawk is the hot new toy, everyone from Chris Brown to Wizkid has been spotted on. And yesterday Davido rolled up to a press conference in London on his own personal IO Hawk.

The IO Hawk is a high tech personal mobility device, part skateboard, part segway. It is powered by batteries and uses pressure from the user’s feet to guide it.

Davido who has been in Atlanta for a bit has taken to Instagram recently to show off pics of him riding around on his IO Hawk, so it was no surprise when he decided to do the same at a press parley in London to announce his UK tour dates.

For the premiere Henshaw channeled an African Goddess, showing off her gym honed body in a tight fitted beaded dress designed for her by Nancy Nwadire the Creative Director of Iconic Invanity. 

She teamed the statement piece with blue & pink heels, a Swarovski encrusted purse and diamond drop earrings. Her hair was styled in cornrows and face beat by Lola Maja.

So this morning while revelling in the awesomeness that is Rihanna’s Bitch Better Have My Money video [Watch HERE], a friend brought it to my attention that this video and possibly single were directed at her accountant. Back in 2009/2010 there were stories floating around the internet that one of the biggest pop stars in the world was nearly flat broke! I didn’t believe the story until last year when it was reported on NY Daily News, that Rihanna was suing her accountant firm Berdon LLP.


According to the lawsuit accountant Peter Gounis of Berdon LLP recommended she purchase a $7.5 million Beverly Hills mansion in 2009 — so she went ahead and bought it. She had $11 million in cash when 2009 began and just $2 million when it ended. The house ended up being sold at a $2 million loss for Rih after she found out it was in a deplorable state with mold, leaks and other problems.

Necole Bitchie also reports that in the lawsuit documents, Rihanna claimed that the firm failed to inform her that her ‘Last Girl On Earth Tour’ was losing money, and that they were pocketing 22% of her dough, which is far above the industry standard of 5%.

All this forced Riri to get on top of her finances (which she should have done earlier) but what does a 17 year old know about managing their money! Fast forward to 2015 & Rih is now worth $120 Million, not bad at all from almost being broke 6 years ago!

Yesterday the Mike Adenuga owned Telco which is one of the big 4 in Nigeria announced the youngest and newest signees to Mavin Records as ambassadors for their brand. The three have each had a huge year with hits left, right and center!

The Mavin records boss Don Jazzy took to Instagram to congratulate his acts writing,

Wizkid Snubbed BET Awards Disrespectful Pre Show Ceremony. BET Wasn’t Happy About It…So He Put Them On Blast!

Since Ghanaian rapper FUSE ODG spoke out against the organizers of the BET Awards on Sunday night for their treatment of African artistes, more and more artistes are coming forward to voice their displeasure against the American TV network. Yesterday BET award nominee Yemi Alade took to Instagram to post and delete a rant against BET & now Wizkid is speaking out against them!

Wizkid who was also nominated in the Best African Act category snobbed BET by not attending the pre show. The pre show is when the winner of the Best African Act award is given his plaque backstage, followed by an “acceptance speech” to an empty audience as fellow nominees stand around the winner as they all collectively hold the plaque and smile like buffoons for the empty hall.

This pre show is what’s aired to UK & African audiences.

BET’s must have been that Wizkid who attended the main show at the Microsoft Theater skipped the pre-show. Nicely served shade from Wizzy by the way! The BET execs must have made their feelings known to the 24 year old pop star who immediately jumped on Twitter to call them out!

Buhari Is Very Serious About Fighting Corruption…Orders Arrest Of Brother In Law For Extortion

President Muhammadu Buhari ran on the mandate that he was going to clean up the corrupt culture in Nigeria. It’s a month since he took over the Presidency and he hasn’t named his cabinet but he is very serious about fighting corruption and he is starting in his own home!

According to Sahara Reporters, PMB ordered Nigeria’s security agents to arrest his brother-in-law, Musa Yola the immediate younger brother of Aisha Buhari, for allegedly extorting money from an unnamed businessman.

The report alleges that the suspect who is also addressed as “Alhaji Yola” received N300 million from a businessman after promising to provide him with political access to secure an oil block from the Buhari administration. According to the report Buhari personally ordered Mr. Yola be brought before him in handcuffs in the company of the businessman he duped.

Buhari then allegedly told the duped businessman, “he was stupid to part with such significant cash when he should know that he, Buhari, would not participate in fraud”

So far the money has been refunded by Alhaji Yola to the duped businessman, while Yola has been released on bail.
