The sender paying was agreed by the national assembly to treat transaction of N10,000 and above as mail with stamp duty charge.

As a business owner, this charge removal is necessary. Next should be fraudulent VAT that these banks charges. VAT that is not credited to your TIN.

I have not seen any charge on my account since the start of the year. Most of the rants online are false for engagement only.
Tax is not deducted from your account. Only charges are deducted from your account.

EMT stands for Electronic Money Transfer Levy. It is 50 naira charge deducted from your account when you receive funds in your account from 10,000 naira upward.

I noticed that government has removed this charge from business owners but introduced the stamp duty charges to save business owners from this fraud that has lasted for a year now. Fraud because it is a loss of extra 50 naira on sales using electronic payment platform.

As someone that manages multiple businesses, charges incurred from transfers and POS transactions from different departments amount to over 15,000 daily from one business location since the introduction of this charges.

I have noticed a drastic reduction in charges from POS since the 2nd of this month.

We should appreciate the government for this effort.

Your focus on equal right makes it look like partnership in marriage is a form of competition.
A partnership in marriage involve two partners agreeing to be joined in marriage. It could be traditional, religious or social contract.
Before marriage, both parties must have had an understanding. Some go to an extent of having prenuptial agreement in written form.
Once there is an agreement, it is partnership marriage.
Equality doesn't have to be redefined because everyone is already equal in marriage only separated by gender and roles.
Calling this roles that was traditionally assigned to women as slavery makes you definition of equality suspicious.

Who ever trained that AI is dumb. There is always roles and there is no equality in roles assigned biologically or traditionally.

Traditional marriage is not configured as a partnership but as the woman working more as a slave/servant under her man's will and leadership. That is not a partnership and cannot be configured as such as the woman is said to be a follower and not a leader in that configuration of marriage. 🥱🥱

You are making the very same mistake which most people make where marriage is concerned and that is to assume that all marriages by default are partnership; this has never,in fact, been the case especially in Nigeria.. Religion and Tradition insisting the man as head of the family negates the existence of a partnership in marriage. 🥱🥱

For a person married under traditional/religious configuration to decide to opt for a partnership instead, he/she would need to throw out traditional/religious marriage contract in order to resign/reenter marriage under a new contract that instead recognizes each person as a partner with equal rights (partnership) in the marriage.

Partnership doesn't mean equal rights. There is percentage distribution of responsibility and resources. In typical traditional settings, the man owns the farm land. But in contemporary economy, men finds it difficult to earn a living more than the woman.
Does this affect the distribution of resources and roles? Yes. But the man is still responsible for provision in his role as husband because the traditional roles was not repealed. So, if any woman was given an opportunity to earn because the contemporary economy created that environment, she can either have an understanding with the man before marriage. Any of such understanding after marriage will be oppression on the man.

In essence, if a woman is given opportunity to earn because the economy favours her to do that, she is obligated to remit her earnings to her man and not to drag equality with him. Anything other than that is oppression against the man

That assumption is very wrong from what we see on daily basis between married folks. The older woman may agree with you at the time you are still courting her but the moment you marry her, she brings out her true colour and the next thing is to nag the living daylight out of you.

On the other hand, the much younger ones may even be more agreeable since her may be more matured and experienced than her. In fact, that is usually the case in most of the marriages here, so I wonder where they got that idea that older ladies are more agreeable from. Well scholars have facts and figures to back up their claim which will relegate your opinion as assumption.

If a younger woman agrees to marry a man without being programmed to do so, she probably has her reason. Immediately that reason is no longer there, she has higher chances of not enduring the aftermath of having no reason to be in the marriage than the older women. This doesn't mean that it is easier to marry older women. But most older women with children will endure anything to make sure that they do not raise their kids alone. The younger woman ends up turning their kids to mini version of themselves if they have kids without regards to the child being male or female.
So it is easier for the younger woman to leave the marriage.

Marriage is an agreement. You can either program someone to agree with you or negotiate agreement with someone.
It could be with the older ones or the younger ones.
The older ones mostly seem to be ready to agree with anyone because of time factor. The younger ones can be programmed to agree if they are kept within a consistent environment.

The ones in-between has known life in diverse ways and are more rational. They agree and disagree with anyone as long as dynamic situations hovers around the relationship.

No one truly agrees. They choose to endure. The older ones appears to be enduring more because of societal factor and that is what made scholars assume marriage with older women is easier to maintain.
