— Believe in Jesus — not only that He lived and died, but that He is your Lord, your Provider, your Defender, and your King.
— Abide — keep faith by staying in His word, by worship, by prayer, and by obedience. Standing still in God is a continuing posture of trust, not a one-time act.
— Participate in the life of the city: feast at His table, welcome the outcast, share provision, and bring praises before problems.

Those who choose the earthly Jerusalem will continue to wage wars they were never meant to win: wars of anxiety, identity, and hollow substitutes. Those who choose the heavenly Jerusalem learn a different rhythm — a rhythm of rest in God, of battles done by the Lord, and of hearts secured in the Lamb. The stories of Elijah and Elisha, of Gideon and Jehoshaphat, become our mirror: will we be the scoffing officer who saw and missed the feast, or the humbled remnant who walked into abundance and victory?

This call for repentance is evident that once saved, always saved is false. If that were to be the truth, Jesus won't be calling his saved and chosen people to repentance.
