Obidient movement is a creation of social media and doesn't really exist in reality.

Obidient is a distortion of the word obedient by replacing the first E with an I to reflect being in support of Obi, the labour party candidate.

There is no known support group registered as obidient movement during the last general election. But people who did support Peter Obi in the last general election from every region and states and languages were called obidients. They are not a support group.

Has obidient become an actual movement? Some people are trying to make it so. But it is in futility because no one in Nigeria has the capacity to fund such a movement. That is why Peter Obi can not take responsibility for actions of people who bear the tags as obidients because it is really not a support group but individuals who identify with the visions of Peter Obi.

Peter Obis time is past. He is no longer an interest of the igbos to represent them in national politics. The attempt to register obidients is one reason to believe he has lost his touch. It is a miscalculation. When he sees the figures, he will be disappointed.

Self defense is a statement to let the government know that they have failed.

If the president is reasonable enough , he should go after the owners of herds that died after eating contaminated farm produce of a farmer in plateau and Benue state. Such people are the major sponsors of insecurities in the state alongside their herders union.

Many people are angry at the plateau state governor for saying they are investigating the poisoning of herds of cow that entered a farm and ate the farm produce resulting to death of some cows.

What I understand as tariff is government collecting a certain percentage of imported products upfront even before the goods are sold. This means the importer bears the risk and losses if the product are not sold. The government is unconcerned about the possible loss.

If the products are essential goods that is not readily available in the local market, the customers who are Americans will pay a fortune for the product. Again, the government is not affected.

This means government has hijacked the economy. It appears that government is in charge of what to produce, how to produce and to whom to produce.

In reality, they are contracting other countries to produce for it citizens while they relish the profits they now call tariffs.

This is not governance. It is oligarchy.

That is what I understand.

Before placing tariffs on imported products, he should have increased his domestic production first. Just a little bird flu caused the price of eggs to skyrocket in US while it is very cheap in nearby Mexico and Canada. That is what tariffs cause.

Donald Trump is a money man and he should not fall low to imagine that all Americans have the means to afford imported products with high tariffs in the absence of or scarce domestic products.

First, he should improve domestic production at a lower cost. This is what China has achieved.
