NNPCL is fraud. They buy up the products at cheap price while making government to pay huge subsidy on the product and then turn around to sell them off to unlicensed black market stations at a higher price making close to double the actual price. This is why you will always find black marketers having the product at a higher price during scarcity. Nigeria is irredeemable. But I won't stop people from trying. |
read through but found nothing about the stamp duty charge except some arguments about the recovery of a non missing stamp duty charge. The stamp duty is one fraud that is moving me away from banks to micro finance bank. I receive payment with my bank account through transfer and average daily stamp duty charge of N600 amount to N18,000 per month. I found this and blocked that. I am blocking this too

Auto correct on the beat. Norwegian/Nigerian. |
Tinubu for the North. Atiku will come a distant 3rd. |
Belteshazzar1:That will be a very difficult task. Nigerians has not risen up yet. all I see is cruise. CBN can come up and implement something without it being debated at the national assembly and Nigerians are mute about it. We don't have nationalist anymore. all we have are political jobbers who only criticize just to be seen and rewarded with cash or appointments. Nothing will change. |
Who ever wins the presidential election won't be the president of his party or his region but the president of the nation. Who ever wins the election will be controlled as each aspirant has cabals championing their ambition. The CBN money redesign policy, however good, is in favour of a political candidate. Their favourite will be given bullion vans of the new notes while others will struggle to meet up with logistics. Some Candidates are booking for logistics in advance to beat the New notes policy and this will result to failure of some events as contracted individuals/firms will abscond with the fund or placed under watch. Dollar reign is inevitable as candidates who can not cope with the new policy will resort to dollarization of campaigns funding. More dangerous strategy are going to be birthed such as decline in transfer of voters who changed location to deny them of voting. more coming. |
C2Ok:Yes please. |
You need to update your system. Your PC need an update to recognize some drivers. Mine did the same. I downloaded android drivers and the system rejected them and categories them as unsigned. But when an update was installed, the unsigned drivers installed freely and everything works well. |
The policy is a sham one that can not work. Payment through POS or card has not been explained. If 20k daily limit on POS is implemented, the cashless policy can not work. What CBN needs to do is to map all POS businesses operators and be sole responsible in their operations while other businesses that uses POS to receive payment operates freely. |
Nothing here yet. |
I observed that the CBN policy on the redesigned Naira notes said nothing about transfers and many people are jittering about receiving transfers or payment for goods and services via transfers or POS. Please if you have Idea about this, please update us. |
If you operate a business outlet, it is not a grouse from the state as long as it is an annual thing. But if it a monthly harassment, it is a fraud and I believe the state government is not aware of it. These criminals are every where. Carrying fake demand notice to every business premises and issuing all sorts of threats. But rivers state is managed by touts. I still can not forget the harassment I received from those touts around trans-amadi that year. |
Esseite:This did happen. |
wiseone28:Thanks. |
Prometheus666:You can't be wrong. Those whose daily transactions are in 50s and 20s of the denomination of our currency are not worthy to live. You can not be wrong. |
ArcFresky:I know far more than you think I know about this redesign. I originated it. Thank you. But This is still Nigeria. Politicians and criminals do not go to the bank. It only takes a call and their transactions are settled. If they have stock piles of old Naira notes, all they still need to do is make a call and the new mints are cleared from their banks vaults to their abode in exchange for the old mint, of course, after some tip had been passed around. I reason all the chances their is and I can tell you that Naira scarcity is going to be experienced very soon . There is going to be panics about the volume of these notes made available and a new season of stockpiling of these notes are about to commence. It is not prophesy. It is what the psyche of Nigerians are programmed to live by. This is Nigeria. Every one is selfish. |
It is about the colour of the mints. It changes everything. |
Most Nigerians like myself were expecting a redesign of the Naira notes for 200, 500 and 1000 denominations but ended up seeing same notes design but in different print colour. I understand the concept behind the change of mint colour for the denominations but for how long is this going to go on. I mean changing print colour. It means we are going to have to go back to the old colour one day and it becomes confusing to differentiate between new mint and expired currency notes. On the comic side, I hope it is not an attempt to devalue the currency further by gradual phasing out of the 10, 20, and fifty Naira notes that has same print colour with the new notes. Just asking.

my eyes are paining me. what is this? |
Welcome. |
LordLugard1:It is not what you think. People act the way they act either to gain favour, wealth or to cover up a bad secret that another person has against them. While it is true that humans in general tend to compete against people they think or feel they are better than for a position of power, many others are coerced int that contest by people who they see as superior to themselves not knowing the implication of that very act. While it is still true that many Igbos are coveting Obis position in today's politics, many of them opposing him are not doing so because they want to pull him down but because there is someone they owe debt of allegiance to that will want them to take a public stance for them or forfeit their benefit of allegiance. |
Yoighaman:Contract staff and contractor are not the same. Contract staff are paid stipends while contractors are paid for projects done. His firm consulting for Deloitte means Deloitte awarded contracts they are supposed to implement to his firm. Deloitte may not have his name because he is was not their staff, but his company would be on their transaction list if such contract existed. So people looking for anything about BAT should use the right criteria else they will continue to distract themselves with irrelevant google search result. |
EvangDrGeo:You definitely have not consulted for someone to know how they are paid. In advanced nations, individuals do not consult for a company but another firm. Being a consultant for Deloitte, it means his firm was appointed to render services to other companies on behalf of Deloitte. The company that received the service pays Deloitte while Deloitte settles his firm. If you or your colonizer want to find out the truth, they should find the name of his firm he claimed to be involved with Deloitte and then they can know if there was any financial commitment between the two firms. |
Consultant and staff does not mean same thing. A consultant could be someone or firm tasked with temporary responsibility for another firm. |
ok |
PandoraObi:Now buhari. I had to go back to your original post to see where you mentioned buhari but found non. It was all Obi and Jesus. I believe Obi will really appreciate your good recommendation. |
PandoraObi:You compare Obi with Jesus. You acknowledge that Jesus is the best leader. Comparing Obi to Him is the same as affirming that Obi is good. He is not perfect. But he is the best by your standard of good leader that made you to compare him with Jesus. |
PandoraObi:Obi is compared with Jesus and not the other prophet. Jesus is the best. |
CoronaVirusRelo:I wasn't expecting any explanation from you since I already know you are not their spokes person. But since you mentioned competence, It means the opposite faith has no salable candidate from the north. again, how is some one who is debated to be founder of a terrorist group more competent than others of same faith with him if that eventually become salable in the end? It is all about agenda. If you are into this because of BAT, it is understandable for you to support your own. But if you are fronting competence as reason for the ticket combination of same faith, then you are bias. Elrufai did say "that is has not been done does not mean that it can not be done" It is all about agenda and not political permutation. |
CoronaVirusRelo:In other words, Muslim - Muslim ticket is a political card and not a talk of competence. Anyways, you are not their spokes person. |
I thought Nigerians should have understood the logic behind this naira notes re-deign by now but unfortunately, most Nigerians are selfish to the core and not looking at the big picture. The CBN keep minting money year in year out and it appears the monies are no where to be found in circulation. This is because the monies in question are being hijacked by business men and mostly politicians who stock up these monies in secrete places other than the bank. That is the problem. CBN spent a lot to print money yearly and they are not found in circulation. Nigerians should praise the CBN for this move. Money, though it is yours, is not gold or diamond that should be kept. It is for daily exchange and transaction and the CBN has the commercial banks to be keepers of this monies should any have it in excess but fraudulent money are hardly kept in banks. The CBN has done a big favour to Nigerians by this act. Monies gotten through fraudulent means are going to go into circulation as the benefactors are either going to put them in the bank or invest them in real estate or other ventures. So, I expect Nigerians to see sudden increase in real estate projects, Industries and Road construction by individuals in coming weeks as these monies must be spent to avoid it wasting away. |
Retired mad man is his stage name He has good rap lines on sarikin dariya skits he should be popular but Nigeria took him for just a skit maker |
