Because we are natural sceptics when it comes to good things being said about our Country. We are our own worst enemy - we fail to realise that even improved and great economies of the world do have their ghettos, shanties, etc.
All my years, it's been the same thing - we see nothing good about Nigeria - sad though this is. Actually, we've had improvements over the years and there are infrastructures to prove it - but it is in us not to acknowledge the same.
We complain about power; we forget our consumption has leapt and our population not the same as the days of yore. There is poverty, yes. AND SADLY, THERE ALWAYS WILL BE - IN EVERY COUNTRY. Corruption? O yes - we are the worst(?). We glory in demonizing ourselves - only problem is, those of us who talk, do our own evil in our private lives, but Govt is the culprit. I've read some of your posts/comments and was not surprised about the various attacks - I expected that.
As a young man, years ago, we had our problems in the country then - but we didn't vilify our country then the way we do it now. Respect and courtesy to one another (even if strangers) have been thrown out of the window. Curses and abuses is the norm. Yet we don't see that as wrong but gleefully curse our Nation.
Sigh, Despite all these, quite a great many of us still love this country, messes and all

The University of Ibadan (UI), University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) have emerged as the best varsities in Nigeria based on the quality of scientists.

AD Scientific Index, a leading global ranking body based in Turkey, recently released the list of its 2021 world scientist and university rankings.

According to the list, UI ranked 19 in Africa and 1,350 in the world while UNN occupied the 25th spot in the continent and 1,522 globally.

UNILORIN was also ranked 41 in Africa and 1,941 in the world. The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) came fourth while the University of Calabar (UNICAL) was named the fifth-best varsity in Nigeria on the ranking.

AD Scientific Index said the ranking “reveals the competency of institutions to attract prized scientists and the ability of institutions to encourage advances and retain scientists.”

Harvard University made the top spot on the list globally while the University of Cape Town was ranked the best institution in Africa.

Below are the best varsities in Nigeria for 2021 according to the ranking:

sadly Nigerian police dont have Transparent interviews nor do they check background and other basic things of these criminals hence we have little close to no serial killers in Nigeria meanwhile all killings on the road dumped and vaginal parts and breasts cut out are tagged as ritualistic killings and tossed aside meanwhile serial killers hunt and keep suveniours the same way .
