Local people of God, I just showed up to tell you to be on guard. Because in the last days before APL lands a lot of false prophets and theorists will come with the mind to deceive local women and men. I'd not want to start mentioning names but a certain 4 o'clock theorist comes to mind.

When you see these things know that we're close to the end.

Me I was busy taking pictures at the towers o. Gave one candidate like me to do the honours. And i told them. I don't know when next I will enter this building again.
It may seem like I lack faith, but God has been wonderful. I even went for the CBT 30 mins late and also without a pencil.

All this is not a new thing. It happens in every parastatal. I met an hausa guy during my service year. His father is well connected and do have slots, I guess for all this ministry of something. I told him to help me with a job nah n d next thing he said was I should bring 800k for the slot. I open mouth

One guy got FFS after dropping 800k. N1m for NNPC is ridiculous.

There's nothing new about the N1m gist. I'm surprised it's gaining traction now when it's already almost late and all eyes are on the ball.

On the day of my interview, my aunt who I put up with was telling me of how slots were advertised at hush hush at their office for 1m. She did not even know it was same interview I came for.

Even the talk of connection; someone was lamenting about how his cousin flew in from Europe to be interviewed for the NNPC job. That was about a week after the exercise ended.

It's unfortunate that these things happen, but I doubt if they'll happen at magnitudes similar to other parastatals. So far I have no reason to doubt the NNPC. Even the stories I pointed out are not firsthand experiences.

Bottom line: Don't worry yourself too much, if you feel anxious or agitated channel it in prayer.

From the onset, NNPC knew they will be employing more of technical fields, that is why they were more panels for technical fields than non-technical fields, it simply means, your chances of being employed as a technical or non-technical personnel is the same. More of technical fields will be employed that is why technical fields have more panels for the interview than non technical fields. Common knowledge.

A technical field applicant av the same chance of being employed with a non-technical field applicant.

Very sensible submission. I believe that they invited people for the interviews based on the technical - non-technical ratio. I agree with you totally. The chances of getting in are somewhat equal across board.

The list where our names were written after verification of documents was totally different from the one containing account details. The person that wrote before and after me weren't even interviewed by my panel

In my case it was the same sheet. I remember the lady asking me to note the sheet number somewhere so that after the interview I'll easily find the sheet and add my account details.

To understand my point, look at it this way: if in all panels at least one person is not paid, and these are the ones that would be called. It would mean that 1/6 of the total candidate pool of 9000 which is 1500(greater than the speculated number(1300) of people to be recruited) will receive APL which is in opposition to wide spread speculation that 1300 or less candidates would be recruited.

Not everyone who was invited for the interview would come. Some will come but will not be allowed to proceed.

No correlation between APL and TF is like resounding a broken record. We've heard, we know.

What me I want to know is why the disbursement taking this format? It is a mystery that has eluded most of us.

from my sauce, the list is ready and successful candidates will be notified soon. My sauce didn't say the date.

However, if you have not been alerted with T.P, there is 80% possibility that you are among the successful applicants.

Successful candidates will not be alerted with T.P as same will be paid together with training allowance and mobilization fee at the end of the recruitment training for successful candidates.

The last batch of alertess comes this Wednesday.

Was interviewed on 2nd too. Have not gotten alert. So many theories flying around but I think it may be because we didn't fill location on the Bank account sheet so it's taken them time to sort it out.
