Sure, it's IMEI can be tweaked to use GLO bis

Meanwhile, has anyone actually flashed the latest Xiaomi MIUI 7 multilalanguae ROM of 24/9/2015 (5.9.24)?

Yes I have.. did that early this morning

donhils:
Lol. Now normally I don't laugh when people take jibes at me, but this your comment sounds like a clown finally talking and I'm sure more clowns like you will like your clowny comment. I feel happy asking my questions, if u like you answer, if you don't like you keep quiet. Plus if u buy and dash me I'll gladly take it cos I may never buy the phone. But I'm curious to know why 'everybody' is talking about the phone. This is an online forum and I'm entitled to comment as much as I like.
My verdict however, is that Xiaomi Redmi Note is not a good phone generally, has lots and lots of issues with it. Over 3000mah battery that drains drastically like someone having premature ejaculatn, disturbing people with stüpid flashing, then imagine Android phone that finds it hard to use Google apps. Chinko will not kill you people.
*Warning: If anybody here quotes me to talk trash, just be sure that I'm going deal with that person.

I will quote you because you are a trouble maker who has no idea on how to use a smartphone.. You haven't even touched, smelt or bought the phone yet you see imaginary problems with it... Smh

semid4lyfe:
I have had this phone for about a month but I never used it cos I hated the white back cover and was waiting for the black replacement back cover I ordered to arrive. That came in yesterday so I unboxed the phone and began tweaking for optimum performance.

First thing I did was flash the Xiaomi.eu MIUI 7 multilanguage ROM of 18/9/2015. (Thanks to Aieromon for the download links and walking me through the steps on whatsapp). I used the inbuilt MI recovery in flashing the ROM and it went well.

I installed TWRP recovery, SuperSU & Nova Launcher and it's been smooth sailing since then.

MIUI has a learning/adaptation curve and it takes some getting used to (coming from a phone background of Tecno Phantom A+, Samsung Galaxy S4, Leagoo Lead 1, Elephone G5 & Cubot s200) but it's cool and I'm not complaining.

Never used the phone out of the box so I never experienced the issues a few have reported here. I inserted my SIMS, SDcard and installed apps into the phone for the first time yesterday after flashing the MIUI 7 Multi language ROM.

* Battery life is pretty decent, it charges fast and it holds it charge well in use.

* Screen is fast & responsive, display is fantastic with good colour reproduction (MIUI has options to customize this to your taste/needs)

* Camera is very good & I'm impressed with its output

* Call quality is good, loud, has enough bass and doesn't sound hollow.

* Speaker is fairly loud and produces rich sound. Sound quality with earphones is even better & with more customizable options

What else, what else. . . . . . . . .nothing jare

FINAL WORD: I love MIUI 7 and I love my Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.

Xiaomi are known to be the kings of the “Value for your money” category when it comes to making cheap, quality and affordable handsets, so when the launched the Redmi Note in early 2014, we weren’t all too surprised. It was an affordable “large 5.5” inch handset with top drawer specifications. Now almost a year later, the successor of the popular Redmi mi note has been launched. I’ve been using the device for a week now I have my verdict.

If interested in just a summary, here it is:

Thanks, I've downloaded it but can't seem to flash it with twrp? any help will be appreciated please

You can use UC browser on phone or DAP/IDM on PC.

You can alternatively download the Unofficial ROMS developed by Xiaomi EU. They offer multilanguage ROMS and absence of Chinese bloatware. RAM management is also improved.

The nickname for the Redmi Note 2 is Hermes and the version number signifies the date of release e.g version 5.9.11 was released on the 11th of September 2015.

Is gapps pre installed on the Hermes rom?

aieromon:
The phone needs to be rooted.

http://en.miui.com/thread-138407-1-1.html

aieromon:
You have two options

Option 1 - Stick to stock ROM and follow these instructions

http://en.miui.com/thread-146299-1-1.html

Option 2 - Upgrade to MIUI 7 Developer ROM. The ROM is prerooted

http://en.miui.com/download-274.html

Does this ROM also apply to the 32gig version?

Does the Infinix Hot 2 support 32GB microSD card?

samsungklon:
why i have a fake player names ?how to fix it?

Buy the game, stop pirating.

princetom1:
So, after i received my Xiaomi mini Bluetooth speaker, i decided to test how long d battery will last me, i first used it for 2 hours straight last night, before putting it ON since 7:38 AM this morning, it didn't go off until 8;16 PM which means it last almost 14 1/2 hours. That's really good. Considering its not that heavy
Plus, it looks and feel really premium
It has a deep rich bass feeling that i love
Note: it wasn't on 100% volume throughout d day bt at least 80% of the time, it was on full volume

How much did you get it please

aieromon:
Update instructions are on the first page of this thread. The remote was bundled on the miui 7 ROM.

Download the remote v4.8 and install
https://www.dropbox.com/s/l11wg3i01mk4434/Mi%20Remote.apk?dl=0

If it doesn't work,it means its compatible with miui 7 and above.

I guess you're using the MIUI 7 developer rom.. Is it stable enough?
