Theultimate: Oyo State remain the only state that no group/society "massively" jubilate as other states are doing after the pronouncement of incumbent Gov. Abiola Ajimobi as the Governor Re-Elect.
I even repeatedly tried to watch because (Oyo state TV station) if at all there will be any to show, "but none" except the one organised by Governor himself at his residence. Can any Ajimobi fan explain to us why? |

oloyedayo: Hmmmmmmm, ajimobi won since last year. The party that was supposed to give him stress was PDP but thanks to GEJ who oversaw the reduction of the party to nothing in the state. I heard someone saying that Akala should gone to senate. Will PDP have given him that ticket? That I doubt. Remember that the only PDP senator from south west was from his constituency. it was this same senator that worked against akala from abuja. to cut the long story short, the weaken opposition gave ajimobi the opportunity to win by dividing and not uniting. All these were caused by GEJ and his deficit-managerial control in all areas. Honestly, Jonathan is a curse to PDP............which might assigned to punished them all within the party. |

The main problem here in Oyo State concerning this election is from "The Most Ever Seeing Selfishness" of high order by Oyo state PDP. What do you expect when four(4) of five(5) leading parties are from the party(PDP)? LADOJA of Accord AKALA of Labour Teslim of PDP & Makinde of SDP that came 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively are all originated from PDP. Nah dem sabi jare. All I know is that AJIMOBI can not harm than the reflection of what we've seen in his first term. |

Politics › With Buhari’s Victory, I’ll Surely Go On Exile – Bode George by Theultimate(op): 11:16am On Apr 01, 2015 |
Former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Bode George says he may be going on exile following the victory of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Maj-Gen Muhammudu Buhari (retd). George had said in an interview that he would proceed on exile if the APC wins at the federal level. Speaking with Vanguard, on the PDP’s defeat at the polls, the PDP chieftain said “What will I be doing here? I can decide to go and live anywhere. Look at everyone surrounding him (Buhari). ”So, I am not joking about it, what will I be doing here? At 70, what will I be doing here? All we have been doing to restructure the country has been lost. We have been trying to ensure balance in the polity but all that has gone. What else will I be doing here?” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/ill-surely-go-on-exile-bode-george/

Politics › Re: Patricia Etteh Graduates From Buckingham University by Theultimate(m): 11:15am On Mar 21, 2015 |
FlirtyKaren: Rt Hon Patricia Etteh, Nigeria’s first female Speaker of the House of Representatives, was one time accused of attempting to steal, tagged an ‘illiterate hair dresser,’ but today, she is a proud Law graduate from Buckingham University. Pictured above is she cutting a cake at her graduation party yesterday.
Mrs. Etteh was evicted from her leadership position in the House of Representatives amidst a blistering scandal in October, 2007. Barely four months after she was ‘unanimously’ voted into leadership of the House, her colleagues turned on her and demanded that she step down from her exalted position following accusations of corruption.
According to a report by the legislators, the speaker signed off on a contract that would see the spending of N628m for the renovation of her official home and that of her deputy as well as the purchase of 12 official vehicles. The legislators insisted that the award of the contract did not follow due process.
Mrs. Etteh’s removal continues to stir controversies today as some people say the former speaker’s removal was “driven by anti-gender sentiments”. She is aged 61. Big congrats to her.
http://www.lailasblog.com/2015/03/photos-former-speaker-patricia-etteh.html That's why education is essential. She would have stole more than such little amount(when compared to what is happening now) if she knows how well to use "biro" in stealing. Madueke and Odua can testify. |
